“While looking to change careers from the corporate slog to moving to something more within my control, I decided to persue teaching English as a foriegn language in another country. After researching possibilities, I settled on the TEFL certification as a world wide known certification and one that could help me get my foot in the door to a career I have absolutely no knowledge of beyond being a native English speaker. Right away the lessons were easy to follow, structured in a methodical way to build upon previous lessons and reinforce what was learned through quizzes and assignments. Within 5 months, I was able to complete the course at my own speed with time to spare. Alex, one of my tutors, was always helpful in his responses to my quizzes and assignments, providing feedback and guidance as needed to ensure I understood the material and knew where I could find additional resources. I'm ecstatic to have my TEFL 200-hour program diploma and even more excited to start teaching English!”

“I did this course and would recommend it for those who want to hone their skills as a teacher. The lessons are realistic and relevant. The teachers make everything look so easy to do until do the assignments are. I am glad I did it an my tutor Stephen was very helpful and encouraging. My emials were answered promptly and the information assisted me greatly. I give them a 5 star and am happy to be a prt of this organization.”

“I feel like I learned a lot through the TEFL Org course. I especially want to say how thankful I am for my tutor Angie. She was so responsive to me and got my assignments back to me so quickly. It really helped me continue on and complete the course. The only lacking in the program is that I don’t feel ready to interview with companies. I need to do a mock class and am not sure how to run the files.”

“I found the course to be excellent--thorough and challenging. My only critiques would be re. the user interface. Sometimes there's no way to move on to the next course chapter without going back to the course overview. This is confusing and can make you mistakenly believe that there are no more modules to complete. Also, it can be tricky finding the path to navigate back to the overall course overview vs. just the overview of the most recent module. Also, I swear there are some grammar lessons that are either incorrect or poorly worded. There were a couple quizes that I had to take 6-8 times just to get the "correct" answer. I wish I'd noted which ones they were.”

“I think I learned a lot about teaching English in this course. I have some experience in education and this was still very helpful. I think it would be hard for people who don't have any experience in education to be able to teach just taking this course, but watching the videos of the examples of teaching is very helpful. Encouraging students to download the videos and watching them over and over was very helpful. The only thing I would recommend is to provide a certification of completion after students complete this course.”

“A great place to learn the fundamentals of teaching English! TEFL Org provide a variety of classes helpful to learn both the basics of teaching the language and to design student's need-tailored lessons. The end-of-the-unit assignments in the online classes are useful to learn how to design a lesson, even if you don't have any experience with it.”

“I have really enjoyed my learning journey with The TEFL Org. The units are really easy to navigate and in good chunks that ensure you learn easliy and can pick up the course as and when you need to . My tutor was really helpful and always marked my assignments on time , giving me feedback and ideas for improvement. The mix of videos, quiz and assigments worked really well for me and kept me fully engaged and interested.”

“Assignments were all marked in a timely fashion. Website is a little buggy, though. I also kept mistakenly changing page by pressing arrow keys when a video was in fullscreen, expecting to skip back or forward like on many video sites. Sometimes the completion state of assignments would bug out and show errors or incorrect states of completion like "Passed" before being submitted. Some of the site logic may be a little sensitive to how things load.”
