“All of the courses explained every concept that I needed to learn very well. Support was very quick, helpful, and friendly. This is a very valuable certification for anyone hoping to teach abroad, like myself.”

“The course was clear and relatively thorough. But if a tutor can cover a lesson plan in more detail during a 4 hour virtual lesson than the course itself, then the course needs updating.”

“The course was very insightful especially for someone who has never worked as teacher before. For me it has been a good refresh of teaching methods, methods of controlling the lesson and students - both minors and adults. It was a delight to go through the course as I could go back and forth between lessons, see, listen and read what the methods were about.”

“I loved a lot this course because it’s very clear and simple. What’s more, my tutor was very helpful and gave me a lot of advices and feedback ma assessing my assignments. I would like that Teaching Online Course instead of having Reading Units, it would have video and quizzes like the other TEFL Courses.”

“From the moment I started the first module on Grammar, I loved the way each topic was taught, along with the examples and exercises; thanks to that, I was able to complete the rest of the modules. It was also thanks to the tutor who kept an eye on my assignments and explained clearly and directly what I needed to correct.”

“The site says I still have one assignment to grade and am not completed. It was submitted more than 5 days ago. That submittal was pursuing to incorrect grading of previous submittal as being exactly like the one before it, which it was not. So it has been somewhat longer.”

“I have recently completed the 200-hour Level 5 Online TEFL Course and really enjoyed it. I found the course genuinely interesting and would recommend it to anyone considering a TEFL qualification. My tutor, Tom, was excellent throughout, helpful, responsive, kind, and encouraging. He marked all of my assessments on time and provided thorough, constructive, and positive feedback, which was a genuinely pleasant surprise, as I had expected an online course to feel far less personal! The Grammar Diploma covers a lot of material, but the units are broken down into manageable chunks, which makes the content accessible rather than overwhelming. I learnt a lot about the language I call my native one! Haha. After completing the Methodology Diploma and seeing how effective the written assignments were for reinforcing learning, I felt that a small number of written tasks or enhance your learning activities in the Grammar Diploma could help further strengthen understanding. The Methodology Diploma was particularly interesting as it contrasted so much to how I was taught at school! Each unit is clearly structured, the enhance your learning quizzes helped consolidate knowledge, and I felt the end-of-unit assignments were very effective in reinforcing what was taught. I also appreciated how these assignments linked to the Grammar Diploma, which really helped me with retaining grammar knowledge. The Telephone Teaching Diploma provided a well-rounded introduction to teaching remotely. While useful overall, I felt some quiz questions in the end of unit quiz could have been more specific about the teaching context (for example, video call versus audio-only, or one-to-one versus group lessons), as these situations require different approaches so made choosing the correct answer a little tricky. The Teaching Large Classes Diploma was also another well-rounded introduction. I had no idea it was possible to teach classes of over 100 students! In terms of the website layout and course structure, the online platform is easy to navigate, well laid out, and straightforward to work through. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into structuring each unit and course to ensure the material is easy to follow and genuinely supports your understanding and progress. “The educational staff needs to remember the students can be from any age group. What one might say to a young student may not be the same response to a much older student.
