“The only issue I had was accessing recourses needed, for example books needed for the grammar course. There is no handout book to help with the grammar course. You have to go else where to buy books and yet they, say on their website that they provide resources.”

“There was a number of typos throughout the course and there was also an issue with one my exams saying the correct answer was wrong, I had to contact support for this and it took almost a week to sort because the email replies were so slow. Long with that I felt the emails weren't actually being read properly, that's based on the responses I was receiving. In the end I had to call support as I was not getting anywhere over email and this delayed my completion by a week. My tutor Angie didn't have access to the course which is not her fault, but I found that a bit odd. She was very helpful otherwise and I thought her feedback was always very constructive.”

“The asynchronous organization of the program was undeniably convenient, with a generous window of completion that didn't make me feel rushed. At first, it was discouraging to fail so many assignments the first attempt (as someone with an English Phd and loads of teaching experience under my belt), but the comments were generally encouraging; I do think that the fact that students are so often failing the first attempt, coupled with the fact that there are so many addendums on "what not to do" in the assignment descriptions, means that there's a discrepency between what is being taught and the expectations for student assignments. Watching the video lessons was the most useful part of the course. Ironically, there were a lot of grammatical errors in the non-video modules (particularly comma splices), which detracted from the professional reputation of the program. As an editor myself with a Phd in English, I'd be happy to work with you to correct these edits! Thanks for a great course.”

“I have been delighted with my tefl course. It is very clearly presented and I felt it covered everything I needed. The presenters are very pleasant and easy to listen to and everything is taught in an imaginative way. My tutor was very helpful and friendly too. I think it is a very high standard course. “I'd forgotten a lot from my school days but the course was made in a way to make training and remembering easier. It's still hard work and it needs lots of hours and effort dedicated, but it's interesting and fun to do. Well presented course, good topics, good videos, pleasant presenters, but audio on the videos need adjusting.”

“I really liked the course . The only issue I had is that when an assignment needed to be redone , the tutor said email them if I had questions , I couldn’t find an email address”

“I found the 120-hour Premier Online TEFL course to be a well-designed curriculum that's suitable and easy-going for individuals who are working to maintain a healthy work-life balance. As a 10-year post-graduate, the course offered me flexibility with time management and provided excellent videos to reference whenever I was confused about a subject matter. The quizzes and assignments were beneficial in terms of concept-checking my knowledge, and the tutor's feedback was very helpful, constructive, and informative. The site also provides additional resources for individuals to develop their knowledge and communicate with others working in the same field.”

“Some of these modules are pretty demanding for someone who has very little experience with formal teaching. Please budget your time wisely and use the forums for guidance. It would have been better if we could have greater access to guidance from our assigned tutors.”
