“This course was a great experience for me, although I have to admit that completing it wasn’t easy, especially since English is not my native language. During the course, I improved my English grammar, learned more about teaching methods and lesson planning, and gained a better understanding of teaching students online, working with groups, and adapting lessons to different students and their needs. One of the things I enjoyed most was the video lessons from the teachers. It was a very warm and positive experience. This is definitely a course I would recommend to anyone interested in teaching English. It takes time and effort, but you really learn a lot and can genuinely enjoy the process. Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey!”

“Overall, I am quite happy with the course. I find it well organized, and I am satisfied with the structure, materials, and the way the course is presented. However, I would like to share some feedback regarding the main page of the website, particularly the way the course discount is presented. I get that offering a discount can be an effective marketing strategy to encourage more people to purchase the course. However, from a user’s perspective, I feel that the way the discount is presented can be somewhat misleading and not completely transparent. For example, in my case, I saw the course advertised as being on a limited-time discount, so I decided to purchase it even though I had originally planned to wait until the following month. However, when I checked the website the next month, I noticed that the same discount was still available. I think this could be quite disappointing for users who make a purchase because they believe they might miss a genuinely limited-time offer. I would therefore suggest making the terms of the discount clearer or avoiding presenting it as a limited-time promotion if it is going to remain available indefinitely.”

“The course was designed well. For me the writing part was very had because I finished my school many years ago, so I had to rethink my writing skills again. However trying again made me more confident and learned a lot. Completing this course is an amazing achievement for me. My goal is to teach conversational English to people who want to learn for travel, business or any other reason. This class is worthwhile taking and I recommend to anyone interested in. “Very thorough and detailed course, with plenty of repetition so that there's no risk of concepts not sticking. Presented clearly overall, with the odd less than obvious assignment that would benefit from a reformulation and maybe some additional material. Feedback can be a bit too succint in explaining what is being sought for by the examiners.”

“Enjoyable course, varied formats (theory, videos, quiz, assignments) kept it interesting. All modules content and objectives were clear with excpetion of the section on phonology which I understood as an introducton but unclear re teaching expectations.”

“The TEFL 120-Hour Course did a great job at building upon previous knowledge and providing ample time to prepare and concept check. I think the course provided good tools to be able to teach without being overly prescriptive on the exact how. I really enjoyed seeing the class videos and the different modules that made sure to cover all the bases. Looking forward to putting the certification to use!”

“The course was interesting, and mostly very well presented. I did not enjoy some modules that were all readding and written in American English. One presenter is very poor, but the rest are great. Some good resources available and hints and tips.”

“A thorough course with 2/5 modules that provided excellent videos as well as an opportunity to read the information. I personally found the videos a great way to learn. I was hugely disappointed that the 'Teaching Large Classes' module had absolutely no video footage of demonstrating what teaching this type of group may look like. The videos up to this point demonstrate teaching adults in small groups of 6 or 8. The concept of teaching 30 people in a regular school environment is a massive leap, therefore suggesting large classes could be 60-100 people is an exponential leap. In my view, (as a secondary school teacher) this absolutely needs video footage to show how to implement the teaching styles advised. I was hugely disappointed with this module. A vision is a thousand words. Seeing this working would definitely give me a positive vision towards accepting such a challenge. As it is, I feel the teaching styles suggested are currently something that looks good on paper, but the reality implimenting them, is probably less successful. I would like to know why this is not a visual element of the course? It seems logical to show 'teachers' what this would look like given Western education does not have such large classes and therefore the concept is not on our radar. I definitely recommend this being addressed within the course. I struggle with dry eye syndrome so having 2 of the 5 modules spoken through as videos really helped. It meant less screen time reading. I would have found that really helpful in the other 3 modules as I could have listened rather than read them. Having a quiz element at the end of topics was a good way to refresh learning for me and not too pressured, so I enjoyed doing them. I bought the course in hast during Black Friday, in November 2025, thinking it was a deal, however, I've seen it as the same deal all the time. This feels disappointing. To add to my disappointment, I was also under the impression I could start the course when I wanted. I knew I was away for 2 months and that my intended start date was late Jan 2026. Unaware my start date was the day I purchased the course, I lost 2 months working time on it and had to purchase extra time. I feel this was not explained clearly when purchasing the course. I would recommend the course. I have learnt much given English Language is not my teaching subject at work.”

“It would be helpful to have an indication at the start of each module, the expected duration (i.e. the hours indicated on the certificate) - this would help a lot with time planning. The assignemtns could be structured much clearer. From the forums it is clear, that I am not the only one with this opinion and it is sometime unclear what is really required. Furthermore, a better question deliniation would improve the assignments too. If a subsequent question has nothing to do with the previous, it would be better to deliniate it as "Question 2" and not as " task 2 or a. b. c. under Question 1", for example. Questions seem to be confusing, becuase one tries to understand them in light of other tasks grouped under the same question. With one of the lesson plans, it was designated a Question number and then had a., b., c... subsections. This would suggest that these need to be answered separately. It would be more helpful it at the start of the question, it states that the follwoing points need to be included in a sinlge lesson plan, rather than trying to answer each subsection separately. This helps to not waste one the the attempts when submitting the assignments for marking.”
