“The TEFL course has a very thorough layout and is very easy to follow. The quizzes and assignments are sufficiently challenging and any feedback received is very helpful. I enjoyed the course quite a bit and was able to mold it my schedule.”

“My course was great for giving me a comprehensive understanding of the ESL teaching techniques across a spectrum of different teaching circumstances. I liked the course because it gave me practice in creating concise lesson plans that were organized and ensured good cooperation between the student(s) and the teacher. “I began teaching ESL so many years ago that I didn't need a certificate to get jobs, just my MA in English literature. But I am thinking of moving to another country now and I needed to get a certification, so I signed up with TEFL.org. The program was very helpful. I knew the grammar inside and out, but over time my methodologies had suffered, and there were some aspects, like teaching very large classes or teaching remotely, that I had done but really not satisfactorily. I have learned a great deal, had helpful feedback from my tutor, and am very pleased with the course.”

“In terms of course delivery, it gives you a broad and comprehensive understanding of the context you'll find yourself in as an ESL teacher; whether this is remote, in tutorial settings (with smaller groups) or large classrooms. The assignments really help to ensure you make concise teaching plans that other teaching peers can take and understand. In addition, it provides you with the techniques to keep your future lessons interesting, informative and engaging for all age groups. Customer service was prompt and polite via my online account and my email in regards to getting feedback from my tutor and clearing up queries about the course, respectively. The price for my TEFL Premier course at The TEFL Org was strongly competitive against other institutions and offered better value to me. I highly recommend the course if you have time to devote to it.”

“I think some of the assignment quizzes could be a bit more detailed and difficult, but overall I really enjoyed the course! I feel like I came out of this with far more knowledge than I had before, and I cannot wait to put this knowledge to use one day.”

“The course is easy to take online, I like the mix of text, instructional videos and teaching videos and the self paced set up. I also liked that I could retake a test if my score was too low. However I felt the Methodology course is outdated, and I did not think I learned how to teach online 1 to 1 even after I specifically asked about that before I bought the course. In addition I found a few errors when I Googled answers that I didn't understand. I have taught public school (many years ago) and have been tutoring ESL online for 3 years and I do not think I learned anything to help me improve my teaching and increase my students' fluency.”

“The methodology course can add more interactive features to break up the long pages of reading a little better. The 200-hr level 5 course would be better if it included the online course instead of the large class course, since online teaching is so much more likely than a super large class is for many teachers, I think. I enjoyed the cource overall, and would like to review everything over again to remind myself of what I learned, but, the format of the methodology section was a bit overwhelming.”
