“The course is easy to take online, I like the mix of text, instructional videos and teaching videos and the self paced set up. I also liked that I could retake a test if my score was too low. However I felt the Methodology course is outdated, and I did not think I learned how to teach online 1 to 1 even after I specifically asked about that before I bought the course. In addition I found a few errors when I Googled answers that I didn't understand. I have taught public school (many years ago) and have been tutoring ESL online for 3 years and I do not think I learned anything to help me improve my teaching and increase my students' fluency.”

“The methodology course can add more interactive features to break up the long pages of reading a little better. The 200-hr level 5 course would be better if it included the online course instead of the large class course, since online teaching is so much more likely than a super large class is for many teachers, I think. I enjoyed the cource overall, and would like to review everything over again to remind myself of what I learned, but, the format of the methodology section was a bit overwhelming.”

“The course is fantastic, I learnt so much and feel confident enough to go and use my teaching skills. “The course is very insightful especially for teachers who are beginning to teach online. Some of the topics I already know about as we went through online teaching/learning through covid. The topic most useful for me is the Lesson plan, it explains in detail different ways in preparing the Lesson plan. My tutor also gave me building feeebacks for both Tasks given.”

“I've recently completed a course with The TEFL Org and overall, it's been a very good experience. I had already had another one, some years ago, I value the ability to study autonomously and at my own pace, which makes it flexible and manageable with my numerous other commitments. The study materials and quizzes are generally fine and easy to follow, though I found that a couple of times the feedback on quizes has been a bit unclear or not detailed enough. I would love to see more variety in the topics offered—I’d definitely be interested in taking additional courses if new content were added.”

“The TEFL English course is really good. I thoroughly enjoyed learning stuff that I hadn't touched in years. The only issue I have is the person who was grading my assignments. I failed the Methodology Unit 2 assignment 5 times, even though I had followed the feedback instructions. I felt as if the goal posts kept moving and I was thoroughly confused and frustrated for quite some time. Other than that, I am satisfied with the education I obtained from completing this course.”
