“The TEFL org course was really amazing and I really enjoyed it. It helped me refresh my knowledge of English grammar and methodology especially the PPP lesson structure. The teaching videos were one of my favorite parts because they gave me practical ideas on how to start a lesson, present new language and keep students engaged throughout the class. And learned the importance of eliciting instead of lecturing, using concept checking questions and moving from controlled practice to freer communication. The online teaching modules, warmers and games also gave me new ideas for making lessons more interactive, enjoyable and motivating for students. Overall, the course has increased my confidence and prepared me to teach English online in a more effective and student centred way. Thank you very much TEFL org!”

“Course was interesting. I enjoyed all the teachers in the videos, so a big thanks to them. My tutor Alex was ok for the most part, but his feedback on the first big assignment showed that he hadn’t read my assignment. I got feedback by email that I had failed because I’d supposedly used AI. Nothing else said. It turned out that you AI checker likely flagged my work because I’d used 2 sample texts from well known children’s storied as the lesson focus. I copied and pasted 2 short paragraphs from the story text which I naturally found online. If my tutor had actually read my assignment he would have picked this up. But after a sleepless night, I realized that this was the reason, since I had used absolutely zero AI. After this I lost respect for my tutor’s feedback. I also found the course padded with far too many introduction videos. Not adding to learning and wasting time. To improve the course I would love to see more assignments doing lesson plans and fewer quizzes which sometimes don’t test teaching knowledge, but merely demonstrate. that you’ve read the notes. I completed the course in about 50 hours, of which, 20 hours was for the 4 or so main assignments. For a 120 hour course there could be more valuable content, more lesson prep assignments and far less talking about what you’re going to be talking about. And that talking about talking is at an excruciatingly slow pace, as if we were all A1 level students, as opposed to budding teachers.”

“The TEFL.Org 250-hour Online Level 5 Course material is thorough and executed in 4 Diploma sections: Grammar, Methodology, Teaching English Online and Teaching Large Classes. All the sections are beneficial and transferable to my future students. Assignments were marked in a timely manner (assignment feedback by Alex was appreciated), as were most questions I posed. The course and available resources and support are outstanding!”

“This course is extremely useful for my teaching career. I've learnt lots of valuable strategies to make lessons more effective and engaging at the same time. I really enjoyed video presentations and lesson fragments which were amazing to watch. The course is well-structured and perfectly organized. The flexible timetable is very convenient. It was very suitable for me as I was really busy teaching this spring. My tutor Angie White has given me plenty of useful tips. Also, she checked my assignments instantaneously!
