“D watch arrived pronto, and watch had to be set up with some difficulty for an elderly person but instructions are clear, if you follow it slowly. watch sits nicely on wrist, seems to be large for a watch but John got used to it quickly. It has a nice feature that you can contact the watch via the phone. difficulty will be to explain to the wearer how to handle the phone that gets activated by the alarm button. The alarm button speaks for itself and can be remembered fairly easily. I am now struggling with the geofences but hope to get advice from this excellent company. It is a relief to follow John while he is on his bike and know where I can find him if he gets stuck. all in all a good geolocater and phone in one. the price is high but the quality is good.”

“Have encountered a couple of problems unfortunately once my father with dementia who we were tracking had been at home for half an hour but the tracker was showing him as being a 15 minute walk away, also the battery goes low far too quickly other than these two issues I am happy with the product”

“Just in to my second week with alarm watch. My only grievance is the very short battery life. Like any device these days the batteries don’t seem to last very long with these devices. I’m getting on with the watch quite well. Very good communication with Tech Silver.”

Hello Tony, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Good to know you are happy with our service. The GPS Tracking Watch you bought is £99.95 exc. VAT. It has a 1 to 2 day batter life. We do also have the Dementia tracker GPS Watch which uses blue tooth only when it is range of the base station and consequently has a battery life of 7 days on average. However this is priced at £349.95 exc. VAT. I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather today.

“The delivery was very quick and that was appreciated. Would have a 5 except a clip on albeit non essential attachment broke easily on trying to attach to the keyboard.”

“The phone is good, easy to order from a good website. Delivery was prompt and communication excellent. Only fault was the email which gives a link to English instructions. This is a short version which doesn't tell you how to set up the phone, only how to operate it. I had to download the full version elsewhere.”

“The guys in the office are very helpful on the phone if you call with a question. Unfortunately we had a problem with the first tracker they sent us but they did their very best to sort the problem and eventually sent us a new tracker. Never gave up!”

“My dad is 98 with dementia and the simple music player is a GREAT option for someone who retains musical memory. Did have an issue that initial info sheet on downloading songs was not complete but Jacob in Tech Support was very helpful and I have even presented him with a future challenge re changing songs already downloaded. The initial problem was assumed to be with the plug and I was offered info on converter plugs for the U.S. However, our problem was with the MP3 process AND someone at the company had included a U.S. power cord. Their product line is a resource for lots of us with family members with special needs (macular degeneration, autism, dementia), It would be helpful if cost was given in U.S. dollars also.”

“Ordered a keyboard with large black on yellow keys for relative. The item was delivered quickly. The keyboard has a bit of a plastic feel (but then it was relatively cheap), but is fine for occasional use and am told the largte lettering makes things much easier.”

“I like the small size, easy set-up and use. Tracking my wife when doing Nordic walking at 4,5 -5 km/hr speed, the refresh rate at once per minute is marginal. Also the battery usage is high at this rate. But, I managed once to find her back in a forest some kilometers away, totally lost and scared with this device. I find the value for money is good. I have seen other GPS devices with similar functions, but much more expensive. I can recommend TechSilver to anyone having to care for an active person suffering from orientation loss.”

“I bought this for my father to use as an early warning as my mother wanders. Easy to set up and easy to use. My only negative is the alarm proximity should be shorter than 30 metres. I feel that it would be much better if it was set for 15-20 metres”

“We purchased a GPS Keyring from Techsilver after our mum, who has dementia, went missing from home twice in quick succession. She has had it now for almost 2 months and it has been invaluable. She finds most things in life confusing right now, but has had no problems remembering that she can press the button on the keyring and we will be there to help her! She has almost left the house two more times since having it, but has called for help and I have been able to talk to her through the keyring, and give her all the reassurance and security she needs while someone is on the way to be with her. It has been an absolute godsend, and it has given me peace of mind to know that I can be there for her even when I cant be there with her!! The online help with Techsilver has also been fantastic - friendly and helpful, and clear communication. I would definitely recommend.”
