Having just bought a nice brightly yellow coloured large lettered key board it is something that we needed but we could all do with a back lit key board and the Num Lock, Caps lock and Scroll lights are extremely hard to see through a sheer pin hole. Other than that all is fine.

Works well though having some problems with length of battery life. Will check Q&A when time allows.

If you are having problems with the battery life, some settings can be changed to lengthen the time between charges. Such as changing the time between updates from one minute to 10 minutes. It may just be our local area, not TechSilver, but the information on the device's position seems very slow coming through much of the time. It will.probably work better in one minute update mode instead of ten minute. The problem then is that the battery drains rapidly. The phone and emergency button work very well.

Hello Ian, Thank you for your 4* review. We are glad to hear that both the phone and the emergency button are working well for you. You are correct that the 1-minute setting will drain the battery faster than the 10-minute setting, but the upside is the device will update quicker. What we can advise is to keep the device on the 10-minute setting while at home and then change to a 1-minute setting once it is out and about. This way you can save battery and have the device track faster when needed to. Hope these tips help! Have a great day!
Have only had my device for a short time, but has already helped me find my husband ( who has dementia). He is less able to use his mobile phone, so this is much easier for him to call for help or for me to talk to him. Has put my mind at ease if he wanders off. Help centre is helpful , polite and friendly

Suffering decreasing eyesight I was experiencing some problems with my keyboard use and so began some research into alternatives. I found techsilver and was very pleased with what was on offer. Ihave opted for the black on yellow keys, very happy with the outcome. I would have preferred a bigger “enter” key though.

Just to let you know, the reason the enter is slightly smaller than on some other keyboards is that the space is needed to fill in for the large print letters on the keyboard. The service was great and the charging cable was shipped on time. The cable is very good quality, however it doesn’t fit into my mums Doro 8050 as it’s suppose to!

We bought a Tech Silver pendant tracker for my Dad when he got Alzheimers. We had a major problem with him wandering and couldn't always find him so it was a major stress and worry for all the family. Luckily we all live in same village so there was always someone who could go and look for him, but after a major situation involving big Police search it was time to try and solve the problem of finding him (as we could not stop him going out). I discovered Tech Silver devices after Googling trackers for the elderly and found the pendant tracker to be perfect for the job looking at the write up. So we invested in this and despite a bit of teething problems getting going it became invaluable in locating my dad on his wanders. Its not infallible however, it can lose signal in some areas and it is always slightly behind the actual location of the person, but if the person has no smart phone (for obvious reasons) which have tracking features this is a good choice. The back up support with the device was excellent I have to say, right from the off when we were getting used to using it our questions were answered quickly and concisely. I know they do many more devices now so more choices andI would recommend them for similar circumstances. Can also be used for luggage on holiday in case it goes astray! Mr Beardsley

We are glad once everything got going the tracker was helpful and meant that your Dad could stay safe. Knowing we can help in such situations is why we do what we do. Something to note is that the vast majority of GPS Trackers will use mobile signal to transfer the data of GPS tracking meaning that similarly to mobile phones, they will have signal drops in black spots. As well the trackers update at most every minute which explains why they'd always be a little bit behind. If this were any more frequent unfortunately the battery life on the trackers could only be a few hours. Thanks once again for the review. We hope you have a great week :)

Silver chains are good but the rings supplied to connect to the tracker are very weak and poor quality. I’ve purchased my own from a jeweller with are much stronger.

Good contrast on keyboard Unfortunately no usb socket on side of the keyboard for a keyboard strip light to aid failing eyesight

App easy to download and use, tracker works well locating my dad and especially find history tracking useful. Battery lasts 2 to 3 days depending on how active my dad is so does need charged up regularly.

This product is excellent. It does what it says. The omitted buttons were ones I never used. It does include a light to indicate "capitals locked". Very useful to bad typists like me. The published details fail to mention this feature. This is missing from some modern keyboards. A way of locking the wrist rest in position might be useful with short slide-out keypad rests.

Purchased the GPS tracker for my aunt who suffers with dementia. Had to use for the first time last night. Very accurate tracking system and great features in locating her. Only downside is the battery life. But overall a great purchase and well worth the money.

This has given my family piece of mind. My father who has dementia, goes walking, and can forget his way home. With this device we can tell just by the way he is going if he is lost,and we can help him get home.highly recommend.

The item, a big letter USB keyboard, arrived very promptly. It was packed in an excessively large and rather thin padded mailing bag. This was badly torn on delivery and the item could easily have slipped out. The indicator light on the keyboard failed in less than a day. The keyboard slides around on smooth surfaces and would benefit from rubber feet. Apart from all this, the lettering on the keyboard is extremely clear and it works well.

We're sorry to hear that the jiffy bag was damaged on receipt, I'm afraid this is something that has happened in transit and we are unable to control this. We're currently looking into custom boxes for our keyboards as a preventative measure.
