If anything too sensitive, slightest touch on surrounding keys will be recorded. Very easy on failing eyes compared to previous standard black & white keyboard.

When I first went on line looking for a simple button-press radio for my Mum, who is 95, I came accross TechSilver and was drawn immediately by the thinking behind the products. I looked around and did not find a comparable radio. Also I experienced some difficulty initially on the website as we are living in Dublin and I was not able to achieve a purchase as the website was telling me that it could not be delivered. I rang the company and got a very helpful guy who came back to me very promptly with a link and all was sorted. So far we are delighted with the product. The sound is very good and i like the simplicity of it.

Speedy, helpful service. I am awaitinbg a reply as my new keyboard does not work on Mac despite my efforts to eliminate refereences to US. I have offeered to buy a more expensive model I can use stri]aight away.

Bought a personal tracker for my wife who has dementia. Mostly excellent customer service. Tracker looks great quality and is waterproof. However: Very expensive: the £164 is cheap but £15 per month for connection to mobile network. I only pay £10 pcm for my SIM only mobile contract! This is clearly aimed at rich people to whom money is less of a concern. Also, the idea that someone with dementia (generally) can easily hold a two way conversation with the device is a bit of a joke. My wife is only in the early stages but she kept frgetting to keep the button pressed for 3 seconds, held it (naturally) by the edges, thus blocking either the microphone or speaker or both, and when she couldn't qute hear properly, she pressed the button again, thus cutting us off. Even with an able bodied person a conversation is difficult with any sort of backgound noise. It isn't able to recognise an answerphone machine (like many phones) and so when dialing to the emergency contacts, stops at the first even if they don't answer (btw disabling your answerphone has to be done by your phone provider and so is semi-permanent). Only works on 2G so won't work in USA and many oher countries around the world (but Europe in OK). In the end I bought from GPS Bob, this tracker doesn't have two way conversation (just an sos button to one contact) but was only £230 and no other fee for 5 years and it works all over the world (2 and 4G). 5 years of TechSilver would cost £160 + £15 x 12 x 5 = £1,285! I really wanted to buy from TechSilver becasue they seemed nice and are local to me (Nottingham) but £230 versus £1,285 ....no-brainer!!!! I said mostly good customer service because Aron was brilliant until I said I wanted to return the tracker and then he clearly didn't want to know me, and even though I reminded him that I paid £10 extra for a lanyard, this £10 wasn't refunded (and btw, I thought £10 for a cotton lanyard was a bit mean). We originally bought the pendant tracking device for my mother to replace another system that didn't work well. The device looks very neat but we were disappointed, as the battery drained rapidly so that it stopped working mid afternoon after an overnight recharge. It then stopped picking up my mother's location even when charged. The emergency call system is good & worked well but the button on the device is small and fiddly, difficult for my mother to use. The charging port is also small and awkward to use, especially if you are older or have arthritis. Techsilver were very easy to contact by phone and very helpful in response to the issues I raised. After some discussion they upgraded my mother's device to the larger waterproof version. This has a much easier to use charger, and the SOS button is clearly marked in red and easy to use. The charge lasts much longer & the tracker works well. I would recommend the waterproof version as an all round improvement over the smaller pendant.

This music machine absolutely delighted my 91-year-old father who has Alzheimer's. He very quickly learned to switch it on and off so that was great. The main reason I do not give it 5/5 is that the volume control is very unsophisticated - great idea to have it hidden and use of it is really easy but it is just not sensitive enough: either the music is too soft or too loud and both are a real issue as you will appreciate.

Techsilver GPS Tracker- Good Points: Looks attractive. My partner loves wearing it as a piece of jewellery It's great to be able to contact my partner, who has Alzheimer's if I need to pop out to the shop. Tracking may well come in handy at some point. Charges quickly. Neutral Points: The chain makes a distinctive noise when rubbing against the fitting of the device- my partner quite likes this -but others may not. Not-so-good points: The subscription charge is pretty high at £15 per month and is required for the device to be of any use. The desktop app is very poor. If the person wearing the monitor is reasonably active, the battery charge will only last about 9 hours. This means that the device may need to be charged to be charged twice daily. The tracker function can be unreliable on short trips. Sometimes It only starts working after about 5 minutes of movement. (This is due to a limitation of the GPS rather than this specific tracker) This means that if the person goes to a local shop, stays there a short while and then returns home, the tracker may show them as still being in the shop. The Charging point is very fiddly to use. The emergency button enabling my partner to contact me is very small and very tricky to use for a person with Alzheimer's. Conclusion: Useful if you can charge it once or twice a day. If that doesn't work for you, the more expensive tracker with a longer battery life may be a better option.

The product is one of the best on the market for the various functions it has available. The only problem there has been thete is a long time delay at times to the current location on the tracker. Despite a one minute refresh.

Pleased with product, only downside is the life of the battery, runs flat within four days or so Delivery was very quick and instruction video was adequate.

Hi there, Thanks so much for your feedback. It it was the GPS tracker keyring/necklace that your purchased, the expected battery life is advertised as 3-5 days. This battery life is dependant upon how often it is used and the frequency of updates (e.g. every 60 seconds). If viable, we recommend adjusting the tracker to update less frequently to prolong the battery life. If it was the waterproof tracker, this has an extended battery life of 2 weeks and so should be functioning around this period. The product itself is brilliant. My concern is that my Mum keeps removing it from her keyring so I have no way of knowing where she is. Very frustrating!

Very impressed with the workings of the pendant and its effectiveness for my wife who has Alzheimer's. Bit disappointed with the cover on the charging point which was ineffective and broken within hours of use

I bought a Keyring tracker for my Mum who has Alzheimer’s and has on occasion wandered away from her home. The instructions are very clear with short films to explain each aspect of the tracker and the app. It seems to be working ok so far but the battery life hasn’t been quite as good as I had expected.

This keyboard is big but it looks good and fits its pull-out shelf. The absence of a number pad, which I don't miss at all, means the keys can be big, clear and easy to use. I bought a smaller version of a yellow on black keyboard some time ago, not from this supplier, and the black key markings began to fade after just a few months, so I'll wait and see how this one goes.

Fabulous piece of kit which is easily programmable and does the job to simplify controls for those who are cognitively challenged. To make this a 5 star, it would be good to have the scroll arrows for the channels and volume to be positioned vertically rather than horizontally. Most people are used to using the up/down arrows to scroll, so for these to be suddenly left/right makes it more confusing for the user.
