I have had to use the service twice in the last 3/4 years. The person at the "command centre" seemed very inexperienced and not helpful. In the first instance the relay driver was left to sort out the nearest garage and in the second instance I had to sort out the provider of a replacement tyre.

I tried twice to renew my policy online but the system failed. This resulted in me being without breakdown cover for a short period which was worrying and unnecessary. I had to take time out to telephone to sort it out.

Have been a fan for years until they doubled premium in 2022 for no reason. Inflationary lift? No call out for 5th year so don't know why. Shame on you to treat loyal customers this way!

Our vehicle age categories are as follows: 0-5 years, 6-10 years, 11-15 years, 16-19 years and 20 years plus. If your vehicle has entered into a new age bracket, this will result in your premium increasing. I renewed a few weeks ago but kept getting reminders to say policy was ending and was sent link to renew policy after already doing so. Because of this I took out a policy with AA so now have two lots of breakdown cover.

Well we haven’t got off to a great start have we? I made the purchase only yesterday and therefore not able have used the service, but already the marketing team is seeking to build rating scores! Ask me again after you saved me from a night sat in lay-by on the A66 in mid February.

Price dropped closer it got to renewal date even after being told original higher renewal best they could do!!!

My attempt to renew my policy online failed (and I made more than one attempt) and I had to take out a new policy. I ended up paying a higher price for what was effectively the same policy.

Not able to use the breakdown service this year. I once called the service for a burst tyre but could not get a signal . I eventually changed the tyre with help from stranger . On renewal, the process of paying did not work over the phone. The operator tried many times with no success . I received an email to say payment had not gone through. Eventually on third attempt, I paid online for this new year.

Pretty website. Poor when it comes to renewal admin. Good on price. Renewed via website and paid. copied the page that stated renewal would complete on certain date. After renewal date got emails reminding me to renew. Phoned to find out what was going on to be told that renewal had not gone through. Then had to endure minutes of legal gobledegook before the adviser would take my card details. Didnt seem to care so that will be my report to friends when we discuss such matters. Clearly Which got it wrong again.

Can't comment on the service, only joined yesterday. However completing the online form was ridiculous. Your website is awful. You can't see which fields you're typing in because of the banner sitting over everything.

This relates purely to RENEWAL, since I haven't had to make use of their rescue services. It is absolutely infuriating to be pestered with multiple emails and phone calls starting a month before renewal is due. I very nearly changed to a different provider because of this...

Extremely difficult to renew - website takes all the information, then provides no means to pay! Had to speak to them on the phone to get it done, which was a frustrating waste of time.

Customer service needs to be more professional in dealing with customers. The girl I spoke with, was quite rude and put the phone down. I nearly didn't renew.

It took 3 attempts to successfully take out a policy. The first 2x resulted in a very poor online experiences! Having got to the end of the app, it stopped working. I rang and was reassured that any money I had paid wouldn’t be taken. A day later I tried again and this time I managed to successfully take out a policy. The initial premium I had paid was unsurprisingly taken from my bank! The only reason I have awarded SR 2 stars and not 1 is that when I rang to complain, the person said ‘no problem - I will refund this money immediately.’ Again, it is 2 days later and I still haven’t received it. I do not accept the ‘5 working days’ excuse! If I send funds to someone it debits my account immediately and credits the other account equally immediately! So, not a valid reason! So, quite an unimpressive experience all in all. Hopefully if I ever need to call SR out, the performance will be far better than this.

Reviewing the renewal process only - very poor. Apparently I was on auto-renew however was not reminded prior to the renewal date so was not aware until the money was taken from my account. Checked my account and it said auto renewal was off so not sure what has happened. The only reason I havent complained is that the renewal price was cheap enough however I would have at least liked an opportunity to check first.

This review relates to the renewal process. I tried to renew on the web page attached to the email reminder. I attempted to renew several times, but the page did not appear to be working. On contacting the web-chat, I was told that there was a problem with the online service and was offered a call-back to make payment. I agreed, but requested that it should be in the afternoon as I had to go out to an appointment. On returning just before noon, I found a message on my answer machine from about an hour earlier saying I'd missed your call and asking me to call you back. I found this pretty annoying and it made me wonder about whether the product I was renewing was any better than the attempts to sell it. I tried to pay online the following day, but it was still unavailable. I then immediately received another call back and was told that the website was working normally... I paid online but am sceptical about what to expect if I need to call on StartRescue.

Disgusted email saying pmt automatic 30 days 14.30 pm been away return to email taken before that date, never gave permission find it sneaky underhand will not use again or recommend.
