Usual online ripoff system which has put me off off this company already. I entered my car details with an age of 3 years on comparison site but when it directed me the start rescue the price went up as it said my car was actually 4 years old. Try changing this and the cookies on your PC keep giving you the same result. Tried this again under another name but this time putting in 4 years from the start and guess what - I get the cheaper price. So bottom line is the age is not the problem it's just an excuse to up the price a bit. I don't like this underhanded way of doing business.

This is the first communication from startrescue. I'm still waiting for details, contact numbers etc if I or my wife breakdown. Very disappointed with the initial stage, hopefully things will improve.

I saw which report but when I payed and went to log on my pass word it did not work as I wrote the pass down to make sure it was right .after I asked for a code to reset pass word and this did not work,. after this I cancelled it a shame after a good report on which mag.Iam still looking for car break down

Your advert said Europe is covered when you take out personal cover. I did this and then discovered it was not . Very annoying and I immediately cancelled. Brian Jelley

Rang up to renew- operator had a real "attitude! from the word go- then started being sarcastic- I was so enraged that I terminated the call. Do these people have no training? He clearly hated his job and did not want to be there....

Despite being sent an email to go to the Customer Lounge to get my breakdown cover renewal documents - which needed an email address and password (WHY???), there are no documents there. Then the option to send an email to you to ask where the documents are requires policy number, registration number - why make it so difficult? I'm after the documents which are not in the Customer Lounge when they should be. Not impressed at all.

You really send too many emails! I was bombarded with 5 or 6 of them shortly after I purchased breakdown cover. I already have too many of them to deal with so it would be best if you could condense your communication to one or two emails.

Start rescue themselves were very helpful. They kept me updated with the progress of my recovery and made sure I was safe. However - from start to finish it took over 5 hours to recover me and my car plus the 90 minute drive to my home address so nearly 7hrs from breakdown to getting home. This was more the fault of the companies they use as opposed to startrescue though.

yes I have just renewed my cover with you, but I very nearly did not, I have been away on holiday for 10 days ,I came back on Sat 25th June, on Sunday 26th June my Granddaughter was out in my second Car when she broke down, it was only when asking for assistance that I found out my cover had run out,I offered to renew immediately but was told, no, I if I wanted the car towed away it would cost £114, roadside assistance was not even mentioned, I am very disappointed in your handling in this incident concerning a lone female, but against my better judgement I have renewed my cover

Waited two and a half hours by a busy roadside with kids. Had to keep phoning back, but both young men I spoke to were useless. On the third call I finally got some sense out of the lady who answered. Service was good when the guy finally arrived, but that was down to the local garage and nothing to do with Start Rescue. The best thing I can say about these people is that they are cheap.

any 10 days before i contract was due to end and still no renewal on the internet. The woman on the phone line said there a hitch and don't know why. I was able to buy on the phone. But when i log in to my account it don't say what i covered for.
