“Customer service excellent. On line query answered very quickly. Maybe less styles in slim fit. More regular fit with fleece lined.”

“I ordered after speaking to a style adviser and had been struggling to find fitted stretch cord trousers in a short length. The trousers were a great length but unfortunately there wasn't enough give for me in the waistband so I had to return them. They would be fine for someone who isn't as sensitive as me with things around the middle.”

“I bought fleece lined trousers. Lovely trousers but fit is more standard than generous. I would prefer greater range in length. Petite is still long for me and I will have to get them shortened. My order came on time. This is my third pair of Robell trousers so I do like the make.”

“Very happy with black Marie trousers but velvet Marie material was a bit stiff and uncomfortable so I had to return. Was disappointed that there are no free returns I would prefer to have deduction of postage from my refund as I am sure you get a better rate from Royal Mail than what it cost me. Therefore unless I am sure of item will think twice before purchasing by post again”

“I love these trousers and have several pairs of the cropped summer ones. My only problem is length. Please could you provide a shorter option for petite women. 29” is far too long. Maybe 26”?? Otherwise they are the most comfortable trousers I have ever had.”

“I have recently bought two pairs of Marie trousers expecting them to be a slim fit. My legs must be slimmer than I thought! They are a touch wider than would like. Also beware! My first I bought as regular fit as at size 26 and 5ft 6in tall I never in all my life been petite! I know the info is on the website and I should have checked - size petit good length for me. I remain confused about the styles. Which really are the narrow fit? Colours are great. Service is good. Website is confusing on small phone screen”
