“I traded both my iPhone 11s with them gave me a stupid offer and said they’d return my phone but 9 days later I’m still without phones. I’m stuck using my old broken iPhone 6s as I can’t afford a new phone. I’ve emailed everyday since and have got no response from anyone

“Avoid Smart Cellular at all costs!
They initially quoted me £752.00 for my iPhone 14 Pro in good condition. After waiting 57 hours since the phone arrived with them I was only offered £500 with no explanation why. That's a 40% difference.
The phone was in pristine condition, with no scratches.
They also ask for excessive amount of documentation including a utility bill, a receipt that you purchased the phone, plus photo ID such as a driving license or passport. No idea why they needed this it's far more than any other company I've dealt with.
This is a clear warning: stay away from Smart Cellular. Find a more reputable company to sell your phone.
I have now got to pay my own postage to get the phone back. Avoid them at all costs.”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID! wish I'd seen the reviews before I ever had the misfortune to deal with this sham company. Purchased a phone 30th August and despite constant assurances of imminent delivery for over 2 weeks I eventually cancelled. They rarely pick up the phone I called over 80 times for them only to pick up 8. The refund process took a further of me constantly chasing them. NEVER AGAIN.”

“Was offered £164 for my iPhone SE 2020 256gb. This was as long as the phone was in ‘excellent’ condition. The phone had been in a case from day 1, as well as having a screen protector. There was not a mark on the phone. On receiving the phone, Smart Cellular claimed they had to downgrade the phone and offered £120. On asking why they had downgraded, they said I could take the phone back, but I would have to pay for postage back to me. I had already paid for post to them. Got the impression this is what they do. Offer you a tempting price, then offer a lot less knowing the majority of people will just accept the lower price, instead of paying for postage twice.
When I again requested why they had downgraded, they said there were a few marks on the side of the phone (there were no marks) and that Apple are releasing a new phone, so prices would be affected. On the website since, the price for an ‘excellent’ phone has gone up to £175. Clearly they were not being honest. They then increased their offer to £140, even though they said £120 was their ‘best offer’
I wouldn’t use this company again, as they seem to have a plan to offer a high value, then reduce it, regardless of the condition of the phone.
Don’t use.”
