This is the first time I have ordered a ticket like this and receive the ticket in a scan format so as you may have deducted I am from the older set and if I can do it any one can I feel I have walked and enbraced the future

Good online ticketing service but without the facility to pay extra for physical tickets which I prefer. Cheaper than buying a T Shirt ...

Hi Alan, Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. We understand that booking fees aren’t something that most people enjoy paying for and sometimes it's unclear why a booking fee is charged; to give a quick explanation, these fees cover Skiddle’s services. As the booking agent, we pass the full face-value of the ticket price directly onto to the promoters once the event has taken place. As such, all staffing, customer care and call handling, account management, administration, website and app development, card processing fees, and secure server costs are all covered through this small charge (in a very similar way that a supermarket places a markup on anything you buy). We have also replaced posted tickets on most events with RapidScan eTickets, which lowers the cost to you from around £6 for Special Delivery down to just 50p - plus you get access to your ticket order instantly via email confirmation. This has resulted from a huge technical investment on our end, so the small 50p cost goes some way to cover this. I hope this information helps and thank you again for using Skiddle! Easy to access but during payment for tickets my computer seemed to freeze so came out of window and started again with success the second time.

I am not very computer literate but did not have any problems with booking my tickets on Skiddle.

It was ok getting the ticket the only issue is if u don't have a smart phone always had my ticket through the post and cant print

The available ticket delivery method(s) selected for each event are solely determined by the promoters, depending on the scale and type of event that is taking place. For this event, the organisers have selected the 'RapidScan eTicket' option which allows you immediate access to your ticket order via confirmation email. The RapidScan delivery method primarily benefits you as we're also able to reissue your tickets if they're misplaced or compromised, which simply cannot be done with physical posted tickets. Additionally, once you've purchased your ticket order you can contact our Customer Care team by emailing help@skiddle.com and we'll be more than happy to print and post your order out to you for a small admin fee. Looking good Richard. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We charge a booking fee simply because we pay the full face value of your ticket back to the event organiser. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's also always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that we apply in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs, profit and a few tea bags for our staff brews! As you can appreciate without charging a fee we, unfortunately, wouldn't be able to operate. However, we can understand that you'd like to pay as little as you can for your event tickets so we always aim to keep our fees to a minimum. Hope this clears things up for you. Kind regards, James
