Ticket release was scheduled for 4pm. The emails conveying this information were not clear that you would actually need to be in an queue much earlier than that. Even then, I was in the queue around 20 minutes before 4 yet still did not get a ticket. Waste of my time.

Skiddle contacted me from a 'no reply' email address, to inform me that event that I had bought tickets for and paid a booking/handling fee for, had been cancelled. No reason was given other than "unforseen circumstances". They made no effort to reach out to me to find out how this had affected me (as a result of the cancellation, I am out of pocket on the hotel I booked for this event too). They refunded the face value of the ticket but not the handling fee. They do boast that they offer the opportunity to claim credit to a Skiddle account (not a refund) for the handling fee (if you read the small print), should I want to book with them again, but to be honest, I don't think that is really good enough for Skiddle to pocket a handing fee (10%) and provide me with absolutely nothing. I accept that Skiddle are not responsible for the cancellation but I feel their handing of this lacked any care.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle are one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email. Disappointing that I have to download an app to see tickets instead of printing them off.... Had to enter my e-mail in and then click on a link to get into my e-mails and then back into Skiddle, and then have to click on the tickets instead of seeing them straight away.... I can't even print them off even though it says to in the e-mail..... It only has QR codes and no option to print them which means that instead of the usual showing tickets on the night of the show I have to log into an app just to get in!! This is so long winded it should be more simple!!

I want a better refund policy I want to clearly see that the tickets are non refundable and I want a refund on my ticket.

Hi Heidi, It is stated multiple times before you press pay that 'Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed.' The face value funds paid for a ticket do not belong to Skiddle, it is all paid to the event organiser so if you are looking for a refund on a ticket, you should contact the organiser. I don’t trust Skiddle but had no choice but to use the app as event is only through this service. On My last gig Skiddle sent me tickets during a postal strike which was televised nationally and they couldn’t even be bothered to post out earlier. Formalities rubbish. This meant I could not attend and they didn’t even refund me my money 😤 My complaint just got passed around and no one took responsibility. Shame 😔

Hi Shilla, Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I have taken a look at your previous order and can see the correspondence between ourselves. At Skiddle, we have set processes that we follow. In regards to posted tickets, we do not print the stock so we can only start sending out tickets when these have arrived at our office. If we have not received any physical stock, there is no way we can send out tickets earlier. In regards to this event, a few customers were affected by the strike but they were still permitted entry as all customers are named on the scanners should these kind of scenarios crop up. I do apologise you were not issued a refund, however Skiddle only have the authority to process refunds if the event is cancelled or postponed. There are no organisers to speak with about the festival on the pier..very annoying trying to find out things about the events

We do not upload event information, so if the organiser does not want their personal details on a listing, they are not obliged to do so. However, upon googling the event you are looking to attend, I have found a Facebook page and an email address for the organiser so I would advise doing that. LC Skiddle Customer Support Team

Years ago I use to go to these raves and never had a problem getting a ticket But now days its impossible to get a ticket I was at the very last sanctuary rave in Milton Keynes

My mum didn’t purchase from Skiddle although she bought tickets for the middle of the event at the grandstand bit and she paid extra for me, my mum and daughter to sit there which didn’t happen we were put at side view when we couldn’t see anything going on at the side and we didn’t even get to sit together. I believe my mum will be putting a complaint in if she hasn’t already. Apart from that the show was really good and the clowns were funny
