“Booking fees approx £17 handling fee £2.10 seems a rip off when the tickets are already expensive”

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle is one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase, and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email. Have a great day! “Genuinely one of the worst events I've ever attended. The venue was simply far too small for the number of people there. The courtyard was absolutely packed, and unless you managed to get into the main area, you couldn't even see the stage. We ended up having to sit literally around the corner from the entertainment, unable to see what we'd actually paid to attend. The so-called entertainment for children was nothing short of a novelty effort. We've genuinely been to pubs with better setups for kids. For a paid, all-day event marketed as a festival, we expected considerably more. The prices inside were astonishing. £3.75 for a bottle of Kirkland Signature water, the Costco multipack water that works out at roughly 16p a bottle. I appreciate that drinks at events carry a markup, but that's taking it to another level. The food was similarly overpriced. It was also frustrating that there was no re-entry once you'd left, particularly given the ticket price and the fact this was an all-day event. When you're effectively captive inside, the excessive food and drink prices become even harder to swallow. Our entire party came away really disappointed. For something promoted as an outdoor country festival, it felt overcrowded, overpriced and poorly thought out. Honestly, I've attended events in pub car parks that were better organised, had a better atmosphere and were free to get into. Really disappointing. We certainly wouldn't attend again.”
