Believe it or not, we're not omnipotent, we can't see into every single other retailer's stock and we don't go looking at most others either. You got lucky and someone had one, none of the major distributors did.

“Chris from New Zealand A very helpful chap steered us to the right parts for our French Stove and they arrived fairly promptly considering the current World wide shipping issues at present. They were correct and we now have the stove back to full operation This is our second purchase from UK Whitegoods I highly recommend using their services Thanks very much”

Because... Hi John, I'm really sorry but from searching for you that part is now obsolete and no longer available to order, the part number was 00290145. It appears to have been obsolete for some time. ------- We don't make the parts, just sell them... if we can get them of course!!

“Whitegoods supplied replacement element a bit slow, and then it was not the correct part. Whilst initially disappointed ; very impressed with Allistair who sorted correct replacement when advised and correct element arrived instantly. They also supplied postage return label, to avoid any costs to customer. Will use them again .”
