Fairly poor UI design & account management tools, at times I felt there's a lack of transparency. Was asked to leave feedback well before delivery was finalised, hence t appears that the website doesn't track fulfilment a of orders.

I would have enetered totally excellent and will certainly use Shiply again, but I was appalled at your put us on your Ebay page and we will give you £1. I would have done it without a £1, what difference does that make. But I got as message saying I did not 'qualify' for the one measly £1 but I was now going to get a percentage of some sales generated from it - totally spurious and anyway, a) I did not want to take a commission on anything; b) if i was it should say so, so you tricked me into a situation where my endorsement could be seen as tricking others. No thank you! It took ages to remove it and really annoyed me, as you can see. A great shame as the service itself is brilliant.

Too expensive, They take a huge cut for what they offer, and that drives the prices up. Once you make a payment it is impossible to get your money back, even if the transporter is a scam, you need to find another transporter through them. They dont offer a refund, for any reason.

Site has some bugs and usability issues which I reported. Then my delivery went straight from 'accept quote' to 'completed' before the courier had even arranged collection of the item. I don't feel secure using the site. It advertises 'no PayPal fees' but this is only attractive to the couriers, not to customers. As a customer I had to pay the courier by direct bank transfer... putting me completely at their mercy if I later want a refund. I arrived at Shiply because of the eBay integration, but in the end the couriers seem to be too inflexible to co-ordinate effectively with private sellers, who often need collection to occur on a specific day and time, or evenings or weekends. I know sellers have a love/hate relation with eBay, who put most of the power on the buyer's side. But as a result buyers feel comfortable using eBay so sellers are able to make money from the resulting marketplace. I think you need to take a similar approach, being stricter with the couriers and providing more assurance to customers.

Well, it was very cheap and on time, but I now have broken furniture, scratched walls, and they pissed all over my bathroom. You get what you pay for.

The supplier didn't follow the request that the furniture was picked up after 16th August. Otherwise the service was fine.

Accepted a quote on Sunday 10/8/2014 from cdcyborg (584) By Thursday they had not contacted me. I contacted them, to be told it would be collected & delivered sometime next week. Now 8 days after acceptance and no delivery date yet. Had E mailed twice with no reply.(hkifreight@btinternet.com) A poor service!

I did not find Shiply all that user friendly. It is pretty difficult to deal with all the responses you get for a single bid listing ( I had more than 20 I think). You cannot really distinguish between the bidders on anything except price until you take the opportunity to ask questions, this needs lots of eMail traffic. On a different point, your presenatation of your fee (20%) as a deposit is frankly misleading and I do not know how you get away with that. It does not go to the driver company but is your service fee, which all your website blurb says is free or "no additional fees". I think you need to change this.

I paid £16 of deposit to "secure" transaction which was failed. Rest of the money was returned but I can't see any deposit returned.

The delivery was arranged and delivered quickly, and the delivery men were very pleasant but the sofa had been slightly damaged in delivery and also my fish tank was deeply scratched when the item was brought into the house hence I cannot give a score any better, but accidents happen and this could just have been unlucky on my behalf.

When it works its fine but when things go wrong no one to speak to , they hide behind emails and do not carry out anything they say they would. happy to take your money ask for the refund and your doomed.

I've still not received delivery three weeks after I booked through shiply. The delivery status on the web site lists my item as delivered. I received a number of emails from Shiply asking for feedback very soon after I made a booking. I gave some feedback, but want to update it, since I've not received delivery yet, but I can't see where I can amend it on shiply.

Shiply was not very helpful when things went wrong with my delivery company. They were impossible to speak to on the provided number, late at replying to emails and for some reason i couldn't even apply for a refund until 10 days had passed.

The experience of getting quotes was fine, very quick to come through, however I have not heard from the courier I selected for 9 days despite trying to contact them a few times. very disappointed. I will try to contact them again but fear I have lost a deposit.

No communication from courier after I had booked, then did not deliver on the day they said, when I got in touch with them he said he did not know anything about it, but did sort it out and apologised and delivered the bike.

I accepted one offer from a courier and paid a deposit. But the courier called and cancelled saying he couldn't do it. But when I went to try and get a refund the deposit I was told I had to wait 10 days. Then I had to urgently book another driver as this needed picking up so paid another deposit for that. Then after a everything is sorted they tell me that I can only get a refund of a credit that I can only use on their website which is no use to me. So pretty poor in my opinion. Gods when it works. Bad if it doesn't. By the way I've still not received my refund.
