This is the second time I have used shiply and i wont be using them again. I paid my deposit but could not access transporter details and he could not access mine. Shiply sent an email stating they had paid deposit to transporter, they did not. this all happened 3 days before i was due to move so i had to run around trying to get another transporter at considerable costs to myself and now I'm struggling to get my money back as you get no protection from PayPal and shiplys contact number doesn't take calls!!

well, if you take the cheapest then you get the cheapest, that is, if they answer your emails and phone calls at all, my last two were hopeless, and I needed something done NOW, like most of us...so I paid one deposit to Shipley and am busy trying to get it back, found a local bloke int he end, you take your chances with Shipley, my advice is do not take the cheapest, they are the ones that le inbed al day smoking dope I suspect and answer your mails when they are ready..so furious

Had a bit of trouble getting I touch with my selected courier and couldn't get any help from your customer services. The help line had been out of action and my e mail request for assistance was not replied to. Finally got in touch with the courier and resolved the problem. The courier was great but Shiply were unhelpful and impossible to get information from. First and last time I would use the service.

Found a transport provider but your fees are extremely high, this is not fair on the transporters as you never tell us they don't see a single penny from the deposit...

Booked a pickup through Shiply w/e 05/07 item not picked up Rearranged for following Saturday12/ 07 but on Monday 07/07our money returned via PayPal no explanation . Still waiting for refund of £10 deposit from Shiply Waste of time

This was my first experience of using Shiply and I became annoyed and frustrated with it. Nobody answered the telephone helpline on several occasions on a Thursday and Friday. I didnt like the system of having to pay a deposit to an unknown company before knowing then my vehicle was going to be collected. That seemed unfair, risky and problematical when trying to move house. Whilst all the bids and estimates were interesting, I would not recommend or use Shiply again. No-one answering a phone was heinous on several occasions and no call-back system either, Mr R Owen, Hampshire

Good selection of bids and estimates provided. However, nobody wants to answer a telephone enquiry at Shiply, especially on a Friday. It is unclear to a first user of ths system, that you have to take a chance in paying a deposit upfront, before you can then ask about the actual date you require vehicles being moved. I found this unhelpful, confusing and frustrating. Overall impression with Shiply, poor and I would not use them again.

Shiply is disappointing service taking fees before you even now that someone really do the transport! How stupid is that?The fees shut be paid after the service provided not before, other vice is it rip off.

Provides quotes rapidly and from many different transport providers. However, some of the providers are not truthworthy. I believe they should improve the control over the transport providers offered at this site; that would overall improve the user´s experience. I personally had a bad experience, with a transport provider changing date and time at the last minute. However, I was more lucky the second time I accepted a quote. Please note that my deposit was not refunded in the first occasion, but was changed for credit for future transactions in their site.

Had great difficulty with the system, after accepting the quote, it did confirm that I had paid my deposit, would not allow me to send any contact details to the transport provider. did not give me access to his details and the Shiply helpline is only open Mon - Fri, not very useful when you are experiencing the problems at a weekend or evening. The system allows you to request collection on any day/time - the system and support on the system should also be available. Great idea, good price - let down by a technical problem and customer service not available when needed

I got a quote from shiply and received all details but still waiting for my delivery, even the courier company didn't pick my item on giving time. its been 3 weeks.

Due to changes in their computer systems I was unable to retrieve all my original quotes and they wouldn't give me any information. I was forced to re-register and get more quotes (none of which were as low) which all took time and meant the item was not delivered in time.

The site is quite easy to use, I especially like the ability to sync ebay item numbers which brings over photos, descriptions etc. A couple of negatives, I got overcharged £7 which K still haven't had back, and the delivery was a few days later than quoted due to the courier not following collection instructions. The service when I phoned to complain was good and they were very apologetic. Overall a cheap way to find a courier service.
