“You prepared a home report on my small one bed Edinburgh flat. This was instructed by Drummond Miller. Two things I’m not happy with. The home report was very generic and for a small property yet cost me £480. Is this good value for money ? I certainly don’t think so. Another thing in the home report you scored me down for my double glazed windows that were in good working condition. Our report said you didn’t even open them. How is this lower bark possible or acceptable? I’m not a happy customer and will bring this up with Drummond Miller.”

“Your surveyor was pleasant and polite. However he mistakenly reported mains sewage when in fact the property has a sceptic tank. No loft inspection, no mention of water on/off and no window check for opening. Is that usual? About 50% of viewings asked about one or more of these items.”
