“I decided to choose Sharps to fit new wardrobes in my bedroom as a gift to my wife. The cost of the wardrobes was very high (£2800) but I was willing to pay the high price for quality and the reassurance of a big name company. The initial dealings were very professional with every detail seemingly covered. The process of fitting the wardrobes is where the problems arise. Firstly the fitter is a freelance joiner, so pot luck is what you sometimes get. I knew we were in trouble when the joiner almost cut off his fingers!! The job should have taken 2 days but lasted 3...the finish was extremely poor with doors that would not shut, misaligned doors angles that were not straight..squeaking when you opened them...things that were not completed..etc..etc. The company arranged for the repair...this was not a repair but a full rebuild. We had arranged for a decorator to decorate the room after the initial completion date..that had to be cancelled..the cost of decorating the room has now cost us more. The first joiner had no rubbish removal to worry about as I had a skip at my front door (building work being done) so I in reality paid for that. I am not the kind of person that actively seeks compensation, in fact if the job had been done right, I would be happy to pay £2800 and heap praise on Sharps. Sharps eventually offered me £150 for my inconvenience which is a joke and I flatly turned it down. I believe the cost to my self in inconvenience is at least double that. This certainly has been a dreadful company to be involved in and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone.”

“Quality service and product! One man completed all the work on his own and in one day. Very little mess made and cleaned area completely when finished. He arrived early and finished early which was a bonus and allowed me time to get the carpet fitter back in the same day to re-lay the carpet. Would definitely use again and recommend the company. Excellent Workmanship.”

“I am very disappointed with the finished article, 2 men 4 days, none of the door lines run true, gaps are inconsistent, wardrobe that was to sit flush is 10mm beyond where it should be. I would not recommend Sharps to anyone, given how expensive it was I would have been better getting a Carpenter that knows his trade. Don't waste your money.”

“Extremely pleased with our fitted wardrobes. Originally dismissed Sharps as thought they were over priced, but have to say from the designer coming to the delivery and fitting we were very pleased and have to say you get hat you pay for.”

“Designer, surveyor and fitter all seemed ok but when fitted it turned out that the critical space we'd asked for wasn't as large as they'd quoted. The fitter was great and we got what we needed with his help. Subsequently the sealant has started to lift but they have arranged for this to be fixed in a couple of weeks. Overall score of good but be careful!”

“Overall pleased with quality and end result but a couple of qualms. Planning and design was a torturously slow process, it is a large room but was difficult placing everything. If a computer had been used (like other companies) rather than sitting there while everything was drawn out it would have been a lot quicker and less painful. The other problem was getting a delivery and installation date. This made it difficult when booking the decorator and carpet installers. All doors and drawers functioning as they should at the moment.”

“Had our bedroom done in September 2015 and we absolutely love it. The wardrobes are perfect and well built. Its not the cheapest you'll get but it is well worth the money and looks more expensive than they are. My bedroom is an absolute haven now - delighted. Customer service and workmen were excellent - they worked very late just to get it installed quicker too. Would highly recommend.”

“Rediculously over-priced! Even in their 'half price sale'. We sourced carcasses and units offering excactly the same storage benefits, similar but more substantial Georgian glazed doors from other suppliers online for less than 20% of the cost quoted by Sharps. Even adding the cost of paying a qualified joiner/carpenter to fit everything means we can get the same finished product for 25% of the Sharps price.”

“DO NOT HAVE A SHARPS WARDROBE FITTED!! Brilliant service at first, now we have a problem with no airflow in the wardrobes, Sharps do not want to know, basically told me it's my problem, nothing to do with them. Customer Services not worth ringing.”

“Originally we thought Sharps were too expensive so decided to go with an independent trader. Unfortunately our wardrobes with the independent trader were non-functional practically from the beginning. After two years of putting up with it we decided to contact Sharps again. Our Sharps wardrobes are strong, durable and look gorgeous. After about six months I did have a slight problem with the doors not shutting properly but Sharps arranged someone to come round straight away. We are really pleased with our furniture and we believe that Sharps is good value for money and would certainly recommend them. Rebecca Notman”

“Excellent quality, a designer who listened to what I wanted and gave advice on what would and would not work. Only criticism I have is that it was awkward arranging for a delivery and installation date and time that suited us and when booked this was subsequently changed by Sharps giving the impression that this should be at their convenience rather than ours. “I really like my new wardrobe. Everything went as I planned around my work schedule. The delivery and fitting were both on time. This is my first furniture from Sharps. It looks just as new today as it did then. The fitter was excellent and they left everything clean and tidy. I will have no hesitation in using Sharps again. They are not cheap but you do get what you pay for and all materials used were of the very high quality. Mr Minesh Patel”

“well i cant tell you about the quality of the product because i cant get any sense from two different departments,I emailed to arrange an appointment,had a lady ring me to make appointment and then confirm the following day it was still ok,Designer didnt turn up for appointment,when i rang the following day it was to be told i had the wrong number even though this was the one that had rang me,they inturn gave me another number to ring who proceeded to ask me why i called this number i explained the story again and was told to ring the other number back and to tell them they were the people i needed to get hold off,to be told by them they dont cover our postcode,so unprofessional,not amused”

“The sharps experience was excellent from the initial survey to the end product. We found the planner and surveyor to be both helpful and polite. The installer was really courteous and talked us through the installation. He Even worked late on the second day to complete the job. We couldn't fault the whole experience. We are delighted with our new bedroom. Although Sharps are not the cheapest you cannot fault the quality and the service they provide .”

This is my second furniture from Sharps, the first was a fitted office and cupboard 20 years ago. It looks just as new today as it did then. In both cases the fitters were excellent and they left everything clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in using Sharps again. “I'm happy with the end product, but the pain of dealing with Sharps - their pathetic, inept customer service, their miserable surveyor, the installer I had to tell to leave my property he was so rude - were really not worth it and I'm pretty sure you could get the same quality for less money if you shopped around. Honestly, save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.”

“Excellent in every way. The second bedroom wardrobe I have had made and fitted and the standard for both was very high. I wanted to have the same joiner for the second and although they agreed to this, it was a different joiner who arrived. I needn't have worried however, as he was excellent.”
