Report this ass, I have the full services and MOT today. It cost 155 in their website, but I have paid 350 due to they said my MOT failed with “Offside Front Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split or insecure, no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (6.1.7 (g) (ii))”. An addition 200 pound to get it done, when i spoke to other garage, it is not a big issues. Must avoid this company. I am going to call trading standard to report this company, don’t use again! I am going to check my car now as I am afraid I never done anything you see!

Absolutely shocking I wouldn’t even give it one star. I’m a mechanic and thought I would test this out to give you guys an honest review, I knew there was nothing wrong with my car I booked it in for a full service costing £110 which is a fair price. Then the phone call followed once my car was at the garage. they quoted me over £600 pounds thinking I’m not clued up I then told them over the phone I wanted a service only! and I’m not paying £600 pounds it then ended up costing me £198 £24 for a little bit of oil! 110 for the service and £64 for a engine flush which I can do my self for a tenner! The other £400 they wanted for some other stuff that apparently needed doing I can get them all for under £50 please do not use this company at all! the service is a good price but they sure know how to con people and bump up the price and I feel sorry for the people what don’t have a clue about cars and fall for this rubbish my advice take it yourself to a garage

I received an email confirming my booking for tomorrow (having booked on Tuesday I believe) only to today receive a phone call stating that they could book me in for Monday. The customer service representative then proceeded to try to tell me that the confirmation email was not confirming the booking despite content to the contrary and that Monday was the first day they could do. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold to 20 minutes at which point I hung up. I will not use this service again the interaction with this company was appalling.

Due to work commitments I couldn't be available for the 0800-1000 collection time. I phoned the company serves days before the appointment and said that I was only available from 0930-1000 and to my surprise, they were totally flexible and said that it wouldn't be a problem, at this point I thought that maybe it was the best company ever! The night before I had a text reminding me that they will be picking up the car between 0800-1000 the next day! Ok, mistakes happen. I text back explaining that the agreed pick up time was 0930-1000 and went to bed. In the morning I went about my work without realising that at apox. 2230 they text again saying that they can't do 0930-1000! I only picked this message up 0930 whilst waiting for the knock at my door. After 30 mins waiting on hold the customer service agent said that they can re-book me in for Monday! After explaining that my car will be out of MOT by then, they couldn't offer any better and had no remorse for screwing up my transport for getting to work each day! If on my original call they said that 0930-1000 was unacceptable I could have made alternative arrangements! Servicestop couldn't have messed me up anymore of they tried! Thanks a bunch. Would I trust them again? Nope! Would I recommend them? Definately no!

This is such a good convenient option for getting the car serviced. The basic prices are good but I wish they would make the return delivery time clearer. I was getting a bit concerned when they did not return my car until 18:45 in the evening. I did not realise that these garages work beyond 18:00 hours. Nevertheless, a good professional service, and I will definitely be using them again. Many thanks.

I wanted to test the service after reading through the comments. A company that does not bother to answer phone calls even after collecting one's car with no checks whatsoever before driving out, is a disgrace. Is it cheaper than a local reputable garrage? Certainly not. Expect calls for the 'intentionally left out' and the costs starts to climb up. The poor garage your car goes to is in no better situation as they can't even reach the company by phone. Is there a market for a company like this? Certainly. But they need to invest in what is called 'customer service' and train everyone in the chain on simple transparency. These tools sustains a business in the long term.

Cheap for a reason. They use shocking garages that scraped my car and didn't tighten the oil drain plug sufficiently so oil spilled on my drive. Synthetic oil is very difficult to clean and I have not found a professional willing to take the job. The only guaranteed way to clean it is a new drive! After over 9 months of trying to communicate with their appalling customer service team this still has not been resolved. I am therefore being forced to take legal action. Avoid this company like the plague!

DO NOT USE... They will intice you with low prices initially and then any work that they claim needs doing will be charged at inflated prices resulting in you being charged way more than if you had gone to a garage directly. I was quoted around 140 pounds for a service and MOT and ended up paying 350 pounds, this only included mainly front break pads. If I'd have had the same work done directly I have been told I would have saved 150 pounds - and this was for like for like parts. They will tell the garage not to release your car even for things that it should not fail an MOT for. In addition, any parts you do need will need to be obtained by the garage from servicing stop resulting in delays and higher prices. Please take my advice and avoid using serving stop and go direct instead to avoid their markup!

Have been happy enough for last four years but badly let down today despite my booking being made a year ago! Different garage to the last 2 years; they say they tried calling twice to confirm pickup (they didn’t) and after 20 mins trying to get through to Customer Service, learned I wouldn’t be able to get my service and MOT done today after all. No choice but to get MOT done locally (they managed to fit me in within an hour) and will look at another servicing company that IS reliable, and who actually treat loyal, long standing clients with respect.

I have used them for the first time. Service was not done corectly. They have done a lot more work than aproved. They charged me for specialised oil and pretended they don't know the difference between 'requirement' and 'recomendation'. They have lied on numerous of ocasions. At the end cunningly got rid of evidence without giving me a chance to collect it and did not make pictures that were prommised and could act as evidence. When problems began to appear they did not take responsibility for their own actions. They lied I approved the work. After I have sent them recorded phone call in which they use agressive sales tactics and I clearly say twice 'do only things that are needed to pass the MOT'. They have done a lot more and said I approved it because I paid the bill. I have a strong reason to believie that my car failed MOT on things it shouldn't. It have failed for rear brek pads and exhaust system. Break pads were changed along with front ones that always wear first. I had more than 9mm left on front pads when car came back. It is impossible for rear pads to have less that 1.6 mm while front were half way through their lifetime. Exhaust was ok prior to their service. After it fails MOT the only way I could get my car without repair was pay for service that will not be done and collect my car that was far away from my house. Some things in service were ticked but not done. It was hard to get them to do it correctly. At first they wanted me to drop my car off somewhere. Then they made apointments to which they did not show up. What they have done was awful and illegal. I will avoid and my advice is you do the same. I wish I would see a BBC Wachdog episode on ServicingStop before I used it. Long story short: -illegal sales tactics -poor service -rip off -lies And I dealt with them only once.

Firstly my original time slot and day got rescheduled, The day before Mot and service of the new date I received a phone call at 16:30 saying no drivers were available, I had to change plans and get somebody to drop me off both ways and change my work day as the garage was the other side of the city. On the day I was phoned and said I needed the fuel filter changing for £114, which isn’t covered in the full service, I declined - normally these are £50 fitted, although normally covered under a full service at most garages. I then got sent the bill amount which was incorrect, had to phone again and stated they should be knocking some money off for having to rearrange transport, they did not. Won’t be using again more hassle than the money saved and expensive parts.

I'm in the process of questioning a whole load of issues with Servicing Stop. My car went in, and when I rang up to get an idea of costings and time, I was told my MOT had failed on a missing Locking Wheel Nut. (I had a spare wheel nut in the key kit which I had left on the seat for the garage...) this could have been replaced and the MOT passed. Then when it was delivered back, there was another urgent advisory item, which could have been fixed by the garage, that had not been mentioned. The driver was really apologetic, and said that as a garage, they would never send the car back as it was, but speak to the customer and let us know options, but as they were on contract with Servicing Stop for this job, they were not allowed to perform anything else on the car, or contact the customer themselves to explain any work that needed doing. And that there were plenty of times that work requested by Servicing Stop, in order to release a car, was not really necessary, and at inflated prices. The garage guys were great. They actually took my car back the next day, and sorted things out, away from Servicing Stop. I would happily ask them to do the service and MOT next year, knowing that it would be done at a good price, and in a timely manner, with a proper phone call consultation to let me know what needed doing. To date, I am still waiting to hear from Servicing Stop about my complaints. I was given an email address on Monday for customer services, which I used. It's Thursday and I had no response. I called them back, and apparently, it was an old address I had been given by one of their advisors. So now I have to wait a further 3-5 days for a response.

BEAWARE ! Everything overpriced ! They created problems. I have been offered polen filter change for 50.70 gbp! Brake fluid 65gbp! Front brake pads 117gbp! Rear brake pads 117gbp! Fuel treatment 30gbp. Drive belt is cracked???Everything is 30-70% more expensive than Peugeot dealer ! I refused all jobs and I cancelled my second car service ! My car was checked in local garage and I been told servicing stop just created the problems with my car ! Brake disc/pads (10mm) / drive belt are okey. Polen filter is in perfect condition was changed last year! AVOID! FOUR TIMES MORE than the garaged charged !!! This is not value for money or good customer service - it's a rip off!

I was first quoted £145 for full service and £14 MOT. I was then told that my car had failed MOT when I knew there was nothing wrong with my car. They then proceeded into telling me what was required for my car to pass MOT and other advisory items. For an anti roll/ stabiliser link to be changed £156.60 when the part clearly does not cost a lot at all, plus brake fluid change for £79.20! bringing up my bill to a total of £395! What a rip-off, certainly won't recommend and will never use their services again. High-end garage would have charged me a total of £226 inc. VAT!

I was quoted £144 for a FULL service and MOT for my small 2 cylinder, 875cc car. It passed the MOT and needed no work other than the service. With oil, water and break fluid, the bill came to £370!!??? Needless to say, I won’t be using servicing stop again, neither will I recommend them. I have been driving for 38 years and never before have I been charged double the initial quote with no work required. Very disappointed. William Pearson, Earl’s Court.

Had car serviced and mot. Cost £115. I was in bed when they called to say I needed extra stuff. Oil,and 2 filters etc. My wife said do it, but I didn't give her permission and she didn't know I wanted it done .The bill then went up to £400+. I called and had a massive arguement asking why they had taken my wife's word as she wasn't the owner of the vehicle or book keeper. I explained that I didn't want the advisory stuff done. They said it's too late and my wife gave authorisation . After 20 mins I spoke to the manager and eventually got the price to£300. Total disgrace that they try anything to make money. My wife was having her hair done at the time they called. Pressured her to say yes as she said I would call at 4pm. They said they needed an answer now and not at 4pm. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

My car had been booked in for a full service and MOT. I then received a voicemail message advising me that my booking could not be accommodated that day after all due to customer demand exceeding garage availability. My booking was rescheduled to a date that was inconvenient and well after expiry of my current MOT. I've now rebooked elsewhere. An utter waste of time.
