“Please don’t use servicing stop LTD My car was to be picked up for a service and a mot today , no one got in touch with me the night before to arrange my car getting picked up , I’ve lost a whole day off work waiting on someone coming to collect it , I phoned the garage who was supposed to service it , they knew nothing about my service, the garage is now stopping there contract with them , absolutely terrible service , I’ve now had to find another garage who can do the work for me , I’ll never use the service again , I hope they pay me my refund back asap ! So stressful”

“My car was collected and the service and MOT (already paid) took place. Spoke with Dean S who was very polite and explained a fairly urgent repair was required and gave me the option of carrying out the work or getting quotes from elsewhere, which is what I’m doing. A good service - collection and delivery - and a fair price.”

“DO NOT USE Disgusting service. They have kept my car locked up in the garage even though I have paid. They have essentially stolen my car all weekend I am now having to get to the garage to get my car at 8am Monday as I need to travel. Overcharged for small things and paid and car not returned. Will never use again!! Do not recommend”

“If I could give zero stars, I would. This was genuinely one of the most stressful and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a service provider. After agreeing to a service, I was told I had to pay £40 for an oil change in order for my car to be released. I paid this at 4:30pm and then heard absolutely nothing. When it got to 8pm, I started to panic. I managed to track down the garage where my car was being held, only to be told, “You haven’t paid, we can’t release it.” I had bank proof of payment right in front of me. No one cared. No help. Just more delays. I was left without my car for over 27 hours, missed an important client meeting, and was lied to multiple times about where the car was and when it would be returned. Then came the attempts to pressure me into paying £400 for extra services, which I declined. I later received another call trying to charge £220 for a windscreen washer fix that costs £30 max. Total rip-off. To make things worse, an MOT was carried out without my consent, even though it’s not due until November. Completely unauthorised and unnecessary. The final insult? I still don’t know if the service has been logged on the Mercedes portal. I asked for confirmation, and I’ve asked for a PDF receipt because the website won’t let me save one. Still nothing. I’ve since spoken to a trusted garage I’ve used in the past who confirmed the prices and recommended work were wildly inflated and completely unjustified. It’s clear the garages they partner with are scamming customers for unnecessary work at extortionate rates. This company should not be in business. Avoid at all costs.”

“I initially booked an MOT and service for £117, which seemed like a decent deal given that they offered collection and delivery. However, once the work was completed, I was shocked at the final bill of £1,382.52. While the oil change, MOT, and brake fluid renewal were reasonably priced, other charges felt massively inflated. For example, engine flushing (£89.95), auxiliary drive belt replacement (£328.25), and fuel treatment (£85.78) seemed very high for a standard Ford Fiesta. The £198.93 for brake fluid renewal was particularly excessive, especially considering similar work has been done for much less elsewhere. While I appreciate the convenience of the collection and delivery, the overall experience felt misleading. The final bill was far beyond the initial expectation, and I just wouldn’t recommend this service at all. I would definitely suggest using a local, trusted mechanic instead, who offers more transparent pricing.”

“Do not use this company. After using Service stop I had x2 £25.00 deductions taken from my bank account which, which when enquiring about it, was told it was for premium service which I had signed up for. I requested a refund as I never signed up for this, I never received any refund and since making request they have chosen to ignore my emails and have in fact refused any response at all even from phone calls”

“I strongly advise to avoid this company at all costs…gave me a quote for a service then doubled the price after it was done, was suppose to pick up my car in the morning but didn’t arrive at all, dropped car off myself then didn’t hear anything so rang them at 5pm and they’d not touched the car? I don’t think the car was even looked at to be honest…stay clear”

“Terrible experience with this company and the garage that supposedly did the service and MOT. Received call stating my brake fluid needed replacing, engine needed flushing? Specialist oil, this alone cost £41 the rest I refused to have done. Never needed a special oil before. Service history book not returned and was told 7 days running it would be dropped back to me. In the end drove over there to get it. They say you learn by your mistakes, I certainly will.”

“Be very careful. Do your research. Be prepared to pay a lot more. The pick up and drop off is convenient. Paying online is just the first payment, after they've assessed your car you get a call will all the extras at very high prices e.g. 89 for an engine flush plus VAT 189 for a break fluid change plus VAT And my steering wheel came back squeaky (what comes up in Google when I searched this issue - "break fluid"! So they overcharged me and then appear to have messed it up anyway). The reviews on Trust Pilot positive, I think, because you are invited to review while the garage still has your car so I suspect people are scared of retaliation. Maybe you get lucky and really need the collection service, but its a dice roll...”

“Really disappointed. Collection of car was supposed to be between 8 and 10. Nearly an hour later it was collected. I lost a day's pay because of lateness. It is almost impossible to get through on the phone. I had to take their word for the very expensive work done. I am not sure what I paid for as garage was literally 5 minutes away. Will not use again Feel like I have been scammed”

“Servicing Stop enticed me to pay for my service up front. They then said it needs an MOT soon anyway so i agreed. They then claimed they needed to strip the brakes to check for a fault. They then came back with a price of 400 pounds to replace a 40 pound part on top of the 100 pound charge for stripping the brakes. I declined the work and they sent the car back. They then demanded payment for stripping the brakes and renewing brake fluid and bleeding the system. They obviously couldn't have done the brake fluid as they would have done that after replacing the cylinders so I checked everything else and found that they had not done the service I had already paid for. On inspection of the brakes the drums were seized so they could not have inspected those properly either. It was only when I raised these points that they agreed they had not done most of the work but still insisted that they retain the money for the service to pay for stripping the brakes. Stay away from these criminals.”
