They are what many other reviews are saying and that is that they are a total scam and thieves charge you for some thing they haven't done ,charged me 175.00 for driving belt which is a ridiculous price any way and have proof they never fitted it so so so please don't use them you will regret it

Hi all, please think twice before book any service with this company, is the worst service I´ve ever seen. For us is always compicated to leave the car for service for all our daily obligations, I had confirmation for service on 17th of september, waiting and waiting for someone to pick up the car and nobody turned up. The response was I´m sorry this will not happen again and bla bla bla. Booked again for today 1st of october, same issue, nobody came. E-mail reboking for 6th of october. I´m sorry but I really regret the day I decided to book with this company and I recommend everyone not to do it. Finally I booked now with a more serious company and I´m asking for my money back.

Scam do not touch with a barge pole it will cost you money ,give you a good price for service and mot then they sting you even the garage that did the work said it was a scam but if you question them the local garage won't get paid so its blackmail ,PLEASE DONT use it will cost you

Used these a few times, every time after pickup we get a call that , brake fluid needs changing, or brakes are worn, or an oil surcharge, these are independent garages looking to make easy money, all these jobs I have refused and carried out myself,

They are an absolute scam do NOT book I paid for my service online was told my car would be collected the following day but wasn’t and wasn’t informed about anything called up for a refund and was on hold for 2hrs and then the call cuts off. I’ve sent them emails but no reply and I still haven’t received my refund!

DO NOT BOOK. This is a scam. The service isn't a service, its a check over of the car. They found work and quoted over 4 times the price of a local garage to do the work.

Booked and paid for car to be collected between 8-9am. Didn't bother to collect car at all. Eventually got through on phone after 1pm to be told they couldn't get a hold of the garage they were using & could get me another garage tomorrow MAYBE. Asked to cancel and for a refund to be told this would take 10 days! Told I could speak with the accounts team and would be transferred though.... Advisor hung up.

the garage they used only telephoned to tell me how much to pay even when they kept it over the weekend. the prices they charged was very expensive and I paid to have an engine light sorted out for the mot which amazingly only went out during the test when advised of this promises was made to take the car in to rectify this again no contact from garage. complained to sevice stop but so far no reply

dont use! unprofessional and impossible to get a hold of on the phone. over a day to reply to emails, failed to meet timescales promissed. absolute let down.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had a terrible day yesterday. I had booked online for a full service and MOT. My car was collected on time and passed the MOT. I know this because I found out which garage it was at and called them for an update. Then a rude guy called Josh called me 2 hours later saying I needed work costing £977 plus VAT and £24 for specialist oil which I disputed and turned down extra work as car had passed and it was only advisory to have brake disc and pads on front done. I tried to pay so I could collect my car as I am a key worker in health care so needed my car back. I called and spent Over an hour holding and still no answer. It got to half 5 and I was panicking so I took a lift to the garage and requested my car back. They asked if I had paid and I truthfully told them no because I had no way of paying as no one had contacted me or sent me a link to pay. I asked the garage if I could pay them to have my car back and had to wait until past 6 o’clock before they let me pay them direct and take my car. I was not given any paperwork for my service or MOT. This is disgusting behaviour and really I would not recommend anyone go through these cowboys

At long last have done what I should of done months ago after booking an Interim service and MOT, complained about unnecessary work supposedly carried out and faults with the car when it was returned next day. Despite complaining wishy washy excuses were given. Contacted "Resolver" and they sent Emails to Service Stop but even they did not reply to them, I then with their guidance contacted the County Court and Servicing Stop have now been issued with a summons. It has been a worrying time but now I feel happier about the outcome as it will at least give SS a wake up call to stop them taking us for a ride and their dodgy garages. I know it is a daunting thing to do, but if we all stick by what we know, we can stop these sharp practices.

Avoid Avoid !!!! I was looking online for a better quote and came across this company. I was quoted £117 full service and £17 MOT . They sent me confirmation by the email and text with date & time . Which I thought was great , as they would collect and deliver taking out the stress . On the day they didn’t turn up I called number twice and no answer was on hold and never did get to speak to anyone . I found an email with the details of which garage it was meant to go to and called them . They were so rude and unhelpful. Telling me it’s my problem and they wouldn’t travel that far to collect my car . So I emailed ss and did get a reply asking if I would like to reschedule . Which I politely declined . Luckily I never handed any money over . Please use a local garage... Avoid these clowns

ruthless scammers. booked full service shortly after collection received phone call that my car needs some other work to do been cought to pay another £547 for unnecessary work. taken car to another garage to check what was done. Unnecessary work confirmed. Customer service never reply to complaint. Impossible to get phone call back. Rude driver. NEVER EVER AGAIN

SCAMMERS! AVOID THEM AT ALL TIME They are ruthless greedy scammers. Back in July, I have booked a full service and MOT. I have only received booking email but no confirmation with garage name or time of collection. Tried to call and email them few times but no response. On the day of the booking, I get a call from the garage that someone will come to pick my car in 30 minutes. It was a surprise for me. However, I quickly cleared my car and kept all things ready. My car was picked up around 9:00 AM and then I get a call from Servicing Stop, from Gary at noon that my car passed MOT and has been serviced. Also, few things must be urgently done on the car which will cost me another £700.00 + vat. I was shocked and I did say that since my car passed MOT and I don’t think I will need those now. He was arrogant and pushy to force me to buy those services. Once I declined, he was unprofessional and rude, mentioned that not a good choice and I am putting myself and family into danger and they will not be responsible. I have asked him what is my final bill and he said ridiculous amount which was 60% more than the original agreed quote. I have asked him to provide me with a breakdown and explanation. He was defensive and mentioned my car need to use low ash oil for the engine which is by Government law, which cost me £ 28.80 extra + Environmental surcharge, Fluid top-up charge. Without any further debate, I have cleared the payment and my car was released. I have asked the garage about the use of low ash oil and apparently, there aren’t any Govermenrnment laws as such. I also found out that they quote customer 200% above for the work which isn’t even necessary. A pensioner in Croydon used their service for an old VW and he was invoiced for £1400.00 + vat which was 3 times more than the car and the car was working fine with 8 months remaining MOT. Without my consent, they also charged for £39.00 for a future booking. I had to call them again at least 10 times before I managed to get hold of someone to get a refund which was given back to me on the 8th day. I would recommend you all to approach your local garage for a quote at least there will be no hidden fee and it will be much cheaper.

This Company is one of the worst and fraudulent companies online...They will ripe you off of all your money....AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!......Don’t be fooled by their initial quote....Go to your local garage...Wish I had read the reviews before contacting them..

AVOID!! AVOID! They aren't even registered with The Motor Ombudsman. This speaks volumes! They just took my money under loads of false pretext and didn't complete the work. Completely screwed up my car that costed me over £4k (engine rebuild). When complained and even damage confirmed by independent mechanics (from ACE-UK), Servicingstop just dragged their feet / didnt respond to emails for over a year with no action. I'm going to Citizen Advice Bureau now.

Do not fall for it... Cheaper than competitor, fancy website and easy booking system looks great... Don't be baited like I was. £150 service turned into a £450+ service and they managed to reschedule and keep me waiting around, uncontactable etc. Absolutely terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Have used them before but stopped due to high charges with no evidence the work was needed. This time I was desperate for an MoT as it had run out. Then no one turned up and When I phoned the garage pretended they couldn’t find me.

After finding what looked like a great price service and MOT with Service Stop, I accepted all of the additional ‘hidden’charges. From oil, to oil disposal, air filter etc. But much, much worse was to come! My car failed it’s MOT because I had a worn pinch bolt. Service Stop called me and quoted me £670 to replace it! After questioning how and why a simple bolt could cost so much, they told me that the whole steering rack and pinion would need to be replaced. So, completely confused, I called another garage for advice, the garage was as confused as I was and told me that they have never heard of this before and the bolt would cost around £10! Upon collection of my car from the SS garage, I asked the same engineer that had done the MOT, he told me that the pinch bolt would cost £10 for the bolt and £30 to fit! I have complained to SS about the practice of blatantly ripping off its customers(of course I have had no reply)! However, I find it totally dishonest and disgusting behaviour from a national company! Service Stop should not be permitted to operate in this way. DO NOT USE SERVICE STOP!

Terrible service! I've had my car rescheduled 4 times now!!!! I've just spoken to one of there call handles once I eventually got through!!!!! 20 minutes to answer a call. Plus nobody answers the text which they asked me to response to!  There call handler said it's only a provisional booking! Well no it's not...... there email says confirmed booking. That means CONFIRMED! NOW MY CAR IS OUT OF MOT!! There online booking allows and accept bookings even if they dont have capacity to fulfil these booking? This is not good enough and is against there "hassle free" claim. Perhaps they should get there marketing team to take a look at the full process and make it clearer that they cant deliver what they say even once they say its CONFIRMED!
