Beware! I was bamboozled with a list of things that "needed doing" to my car, and now realise that I was conned. Avoid. And how do they get so many positive reviews on their own website, but not elsewhere?

The worst! Car not picked up on time, taken away (friday) due to return Friday night no sign of it! No information, unable to get through to any of the numbers, still no info by the night time! No answer ALL weekend! Finally had a call Monday afternoon telling me I needed almost £700 of stuff fixed on the back of the service. Told them I didn't know what any of the stuff was so needed to speak to the other half and never managed to get through to anyone again! Car was finally returned around 7pm on the Monday! AND the whole time the car the guy who picked up the car came in was stuck on the kirb in front on my house for 4 days! All in all shocking service!

If I could leave no stars I would.....arranged collection and total no show. The phone numbers sent to you are not even registered which is a RED FLAG. Managed to get in touch via online chat, they then called me to say sorry they wouldn't be able to do anything for 4 weeks!!!! WTF. Now I have to wait 5 to 10 days for a refund

I use this company as I find their pricing to be reasonable and competitive. However, there are somethings that they need to change.Firstly, they always try to upsell you things after the service. They even use a bit of deception to make you think that the add-on is compulsory and that you must pay. Last year the person that I spoke to was extremely rude. My car was supposed to be returned after the service. I was given a reason why they could not return the car and I had to collect it myself. This year, the lady that I spoke to was nicer, but she tried to upsell to me applying pressurising tactics. I was only fortunate that I had called the garage where the car was, and the can was already on its way back to me. The lady, however, wanted me to pay an extra £30 for a 'special oil'. The worst thing that she did was that she said she would send me a link to write a positive review for the company. If she saw that I had written the review, that I will get a £10 refund. In other words, she was trying to buy my review. I hope Trustpilot is aware that this kind of practice is going on. Anyway. Be careful if you want to use them. Try to get the direct contact of the garage dong the service and decline all upsells unless you really want it.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE SERVICING STOP LIMITED. BUT THE MOST FRUSTRATING PART IS THE PUBLIC DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE DEALING WITH UNTIL ITS TOOOOO LATE. I thought I was making an online booking with National Tyres Stirling as per a letter I received from National Tyres. Doing an online booking I was very taken aback when my on line payment for MOT and Service went through to Service Stop Ltd but did a Google search and the pin drop showed my MOT would be done at National Tyres I was also unaware that National Tyres do not offer a free collection and delivery service and at that time I felt unwell so it sounded like a good option. WELLLL as per EVERY OTHER MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC I got the late afternoon call saying my vehicle has past its MOT but the garage found my vehicle needed an array of repairs —— please keep in mind i am still thinking i am dealing with an off shoot of National Tyres —- who by the way are as FUMING AS I AM because its there companies name caught in this disgusting SCAM SCHEME of SSL and National Tyres thought I had chosen SSL over them which is sooo not the case. So moving on I agreed to the repairs as I was made to feel panicked by what I was told by the caller I chose to do the payments over six months and signed up to Payment Assist whom I have used before as I had just completed an agreement with National Tyres for my brakes and brake shoes I was extremely happy with that service. I have also raised a fraudulent marker with my bank, and after this episode I am now a bit more alert to Payment Assist as all my calls with them although they were always helpful and pleasant i am having second thoughts about them being part of it all, I only say this because as pleasant as they were they were also unwilling to assist me as their customer to reach out to SSL and discuss my concerns about SSL and me being over charged they said I had to contact SSL and they were the ones who had to cancel the agreement as well as they had already paid SSL the following day of my MOT 16/09/22 — WELL WE KNOW SSL DONT return calls or make contact unless its to tell you you need supposed repairs done. I am working on my thoughts about Payment Assist. Again as per all the complaints SSL could not tell me a thing about where my car was serviced and was also told on my vehicles return the FOLLOWING day that drive belt was to small and had to be ordered when it arrived I would be contacted —- JOKE I had to do allll the searching, phoning SSL and eventually it was suggested I went to the garage who did my MOT its 11 miles away from Stirling and the garage that took my vehicle for MOT has an MOT on sight why not use them why take my vehicle 11 mikes away. Well I think I know why — I finally today 01/11/22 found the garage who took my vehicle for its MOT and then did the service after MOT. NOW lets bear in mind I paid for an MOT and service as one. Had I known what the SCAMMY set up was I would never have allowed the collection and delivery service because it gives the garage the opportunity of someone else doing the MOT and there is no comeback on that MOT centre AND AS I THINK I HAVE WORKED IT OUT SSL DONT tell where your car will be MOT/ SERVICED so they have your vehicle to ransom SHOULD not agree to the repairs. After the service being completed the garage make the call to SSL with their supposed findings SSL then call the unsuspecting customer WITH A MASSIVELY INFLATED cost for the service and set in play this panic that your vehicle required these repairs — MAYBE they do ????? but not at the costs that are levelled at the customer. I TOO WAS DEVASTATED when I searched SSL and realised they had an offer from Dragons Den. But have since seen that they WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH SSL. I myself am now the stage of finding out how much I have been OVERCHARGED by SSL and as per everyone else your calls do not generate any responses and as for the customers service on line chat REALLY WHAT ANOTHER JOKE. So i am now giving SSL until tomorrow to come back to discuss my over inflated bill so will see how that goes. I had already told them last week if they did not respond to me with the information I was seeking I was going to escalate this situation further —- they gave me a RIDICULOUS reply whereby they have not got my payment for MOT and service correct so I have stuck by my word and its been escalated and i am waiting on further investigation I was also advised to go the police which if I DONT get some positive results from my request for my bill to be reduced to a more satisfactory in line with business standards that may just be my next port of call. APOLOGIES FOR SUCH A LONG REVIEW BUT SOMEHOW US AS THE PUBLIC JUST HAVE TO MAKE THIS SITUATION AT THE FOREFRONT OF MOTORING AND NOT IN THE BACKGROUND FOR PEOPLE TO GET TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS ITS A SHAME THE GOVERNMENT CHANGED TO MOT RULES FROM HAVING TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO A RECOGNISED MOT FACILITY BECAUSE THIS IS HOW SSL ARE GETTING AWAY WITH SCAMMING AND OVERCHARGING US THE PUBLIC. HOW ON EARTH DOES ONE GO TO WORK IN THE MORNING KNOWING THEY WILL BE DISRESPECTFUL TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC EACH AND EVERYDAY. PLUS THEY GET MOODY WHEN YOU DO MANAGE TO TALK TO THEN WELL WHAT DO THEY EXPECT

Although the adviser was pleasant, they talked over me whilst I was talking and protesting the high price for the work carried out on my vehicle and did not really know much about the work that had been completed on my car. Their site never gave me a detailed breakdown of the work done either, it kept saying not available at present try again later. Do not use Servicing Stop! It’s a terrible company. Also Dragons den should be ashamed giving money to these scammers. The guy that turned up to pick up my car never came in the given time slot and the neighbours told me his car did not have an MOT! Was it his car or one of their customer’s cars! NEVER USE Servicingstop!!!!!!!!!

Terrible service provided they give you a number 07445 814100 but you can not send text messages and they do not answer calls so you are left frustrated and only receive text messages from them which seem harassing because you have asked them to to cancel but instead get text messages saying picking your vehicle up would advise you to go to your local garage most reviews state similar issues and also state you will probably be charged more than what was quoted

All I can say is SCAM ARTISTS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They do not respond to you and when they do all you get is a pushy salesman ripping you off. I argued the toss with them and called them out on what they were attempting to charge me (An additional £325 for an engine flush (Oil change is included with the service), Change break fluid and to change/top up Coolant) and all the salesman did was hang up on me. This left me not knowing what was going on with my car were it was and if i was going to get it back. They did not answer phones or email and the online chat useless as all they say is il get your advisor to call you. I have to say though this is not a reflection on the garages they use as the one I had was awesome.

Once taken in by their webpage and reviews on their site (Just try to insert a review!!!). I thought I would try the service. Please do not fall into that trap. Once with the garage they told me my vehicle needed additional work which pushed up the original price five fold. This included front brake pads and discs. I asked for any replacement parts to be left in the boot. Apart from an air filter and an auxiliary piece, none of the major parts removed were seen ,which makes me wonder what work was carried out. Either way the system is flawed and open to abuse. I do not trust this company at all and would advise you all to stay clear. It is also difficult to pick up the phone to speak to anyone .

AVOID !!! save your money and time, go directly to a mechanic! dont book through servicingstop, one price on booking different price on web and trust me when the service start they will call you for a lot more money example i was offered fuel filter replacement £83 brake fluid change £77 air and polen filter £62 WTH when i ask the mechanic how much they charge for fuel filter he said around £30 brake fluid rep. £30-35 and both air filters i rep. them for less then £20 do your math and see is it worthy and all the discount you get online for paying upfront youll pay for that and some things like waste fluid and top up even twice! when i went to the garage in the morning and told them i have booked service he said i dont know nothing about that, many of the full service checks are skipped but ticked on the list and another unprofessional thing week ago did car valeting but the mechanic doesn't really care about black oily hands and clothes gets inside the car touching everywhere ...

I booked my Service through Servicing Stop in July. I then got a fine from TFL for Ulez. I sent this to Service Stop and received auto response stating they will get back to me within 2 days. Since then I have repeatedly emailed and the fine is now £240.00. They do not even have the courtesy to respond in any way and the Service was over £400! Absolute sham.

They said the garage can't do service so can we move it to another day, I say ok. They tell me where the garage is it's 500 yards away so I say don't collect it I'll take it myself. The garage say is this through Servicestop I say yes. He says he will not deal with them . I try to ring to find out what's going on. Nothing no answer no email no customer service. The next day I get a text from someone I don't know saying he will pick my car up at 7 am to beat the traffic. I try to text number not available No one turned up no body rang. Then out of the blue I get a text from servicescam "how did we do" I was one of the lucky ones I contacted my bank and had my deposit returned. I then find a Facebook page scammed by Servicestop and found many many other people with similar bad experiences with this firm . Check it out

Awful company. Interim service booked, car supposed to be back the same day, by 19:30 nothing, eventually got someone who at 10pm told me “the drivers went home at 430 so nobody could bring car back. Had to cancel all Friday evening plans. Could I put a residents permit on their car outside overnight?….yeah right you cheeky ****. Eventually got car back late the next morning. Service not logged on cars computer. Have tried contacting ServingStop for last 11 days. Guess what no response. No phone number either. A bunch of liars, who are quick enough to take your money. Oh and not to mention the list of “essential” jobs that needed doing….engine flush, coolant flush, brake fluid change at extortionate prices, absolute robbing clowns. Kwik Fit did the brake fluid for £44 the following week, not the £95 quoted by then. The other “jobs”did not need doing. Also seems like the £24 special oil con is still going on. TAKE HEED: DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY.

Put our seven-year-old Corsa in for an MOT and interim service. Having done this previously with local independent garages the price given is usually the price of the interim service. Given that an interim service is basically some visual checks and an 'oil and filter change' and Servicingstop have all the vehicle details you would expect the price to include the required 'oil and filter change' ... but it doesn't, and they demand an additional £24.99 for the oil and won't return the car until this is paid. So it appears that Servicingstops interim service EXCLUDES the oil change included by everyone else.

I booked a service and MOT for my 1.0 petrol Skoda Octavia. It all started very professionally. They call you in advance to give you warning of the car collection time and the collection was fine. I then received a call detailing the issues: inefficient hand brake, rubbing rear brake, new pollen filter, special oil, brake fluid change. Cost to address these issues £854 plus any brake parts needed. I know enough to understand that this is a complete rip-off. I will write off what I paid in advance to Service Stop and get a garage I trust to do the work

I booked my MOT and full service three weeks ago and paid in full at the time of booking. I received a phone call to confirm and an email confirmation. The day before my MOT was due I had a missed call from an unknown number whilst I was at work, followed by a text asking me to call. I called the number provided to find it was invalid. I texted the number back and said I was unable to call and asked if they could call me. The morning of the MOT arrived and I made sure I was up and ready for my car to be collected as planned. By 9am, I thought I should try to contact them again to check all was OK. Again, I couldn't reach them by phone, but I found the online chat facility on their website. I said I just want to check what time my car will be collected to be told that they had to rearrange my MOT for the following week as they had no availability sooner. This would be AFTER my MOT had expired so I said they would need to cancel and refund me so I can sort it out myself. Apparently the refund will take around 14 days. Painful!
