I submitted my car september 30th for service booking number 1469778, they returned the car to me after taking roughly £900 of my money, it has since been making a scraping screeching metallic sound when i drive, both the phone numbers they provide in their booking emails do not work, their customer support email gets no response and their "live chat customer support" repeatedly times out and i believe may be fake. I have lost my money and have no idea how to get it back I am going to have to take my car to another garage now, please be very careful if you are considering using this company

I'd review servicing stop as 0 if that was an option. I have used them 2 years ago and they sent my car to a garage that was 20 miles from home which I thought was ridiculous. I tried to use them again this year and asked for the garage to be close and they ensured that the available garage was 7 miles away. When I received the garage details it was actually 17 miles away so I complaint and got offered pennys for fuel which probably won't cover the actual spent. I agreed just because I needed the car MOTed asap. The day before pick up they rang me and confirmed the pick up slot which was agreed. On the day they called me again in the morning and due to work I couldn't pick up so they cancelled my pick up and called me again to say they couldn't pick the car up anymore and it will have to be the following day and the reason was because I did not pick up on the day. I don't understand why we confirmed the day before and on the day they couldn't make it anymore.... All in all, this service used to be good in the past when it first started but as years went by and they got bigger and greedier it became worse and actually not as cheap as they sell themselves. I would say go to your local garage and get your car sorted their. Support your local community and don't waste your time and money on those big corporates who only care about their profits and not on customer satisfaction

Zero Stars Would have left no stars if possible as didn't receive any service. Asked for 2 weeks who will be collecting my £25,000 car as wasn't going to just release to anyone. Came to today less than 48 hours to collection and still didn't have an answer for me. Spoke to there very unhelpful web chat service who cancelled(on my request) then followed up by saying "it was just about to be booked in too". Why they didn't just say that to start with then book it in beats me. Stay clear of these cowboys.

Stole from me. Paid £74 up front. Then they called me and cancelled, as they were too busy. Had to email chase for refund. Then they only refunded £54. Have followed up with emails, been ignored. Total con artists

Do not use. Entice you with low cost servicing. Additional items are then at least twice market rates. Impossible to contact and have a very dodgy mobile number they contact you on to arrange booking that does not take return calls. As close to a scam as its possible to get without being unlawful.

Sent the car for a MOT got sent a £2000 invoice!!! Got charged over 3 times the price for many items. Thank god I got a second opinion before agreeing to pay like I bet some people have. Never ever use for a last minute mot and service. Big big mistake. Please take my advise and wait for a local garage to sort your car.

I booked and paid for a full service however I did not receive a full service at all. The garage used was Andover Car Repairs who advised I must pay for the oil separately, they literally changed the oil and oil filter which cost me £125. I had a call stating that I would need to pay in total £500 + for what they said my car needed. I took my car to a local garage and I showed them these prices and work allegedly required. I did not need several of those things done at all. However I did need to complete my cars service as Andover Car Repairs had not replaced my air or pollen filters, had no way completed checks on my brakes or anything outside of the engine. They stated it would cost £140 for 3 spark plugs - £71.55 for a pollen filter £99 for brake fluid change I did not need £86 for anti freeze I did not need £99 for an auxiliary belt I did not need £33 for fuel treatment The garage I took my car to with this list charged me £100.80 for 3 spark plugs, a pollen filter an air filter and fuel treatment the rest I was told was not needed at all. I will never use Servicing Stop again. I emailed customer services 5 times with photos and screenshots over a week ago and have received no reply whatsoever. I called the number I received on my booking email and was told to email customer services I got on to the Live chat today to be told I need to email customer services!! Who do not reply. I'm disgusted and highly disappointed.

Booked a full service a week in advanced and paid up front, received a phone-call the hour of collection advising the booking will have to reschedule due to no response from garage. First and last experience with this company, very unprofessional.

It's 9.55pm and I am still waiting for my car to be returned. I have already missed an appointment tonight and will not be able to get to work tomorrow morning unless it is returned. I have visions of it being ragged to death or used in some criminal activity. I have reported it stolen to the police. This is beyond acceptable. I keep wanting to give the benefit of the doubt but everything is pointing to the proverbial wee being taken here. I hope my car is ok. Avoid using these! I feel like a fool.

Shame I couldn't award this company zero stars! Absolutely appalling and shocking service, please DO NOT USE! I actually thought my car had been stolen and I was on my way to the police station as the lack of communication and professionalism seemed dodgy from the start. From some stranger turning up at my house to collect who couldnt provide ID or show proof he was from the company to not getting any updates on the progress of the car service. Then I was told by the chat bot that it would be delivered at 6pm and at 7pm it was no where to be seen and I couldnt get in touch with anyone. I thought the worst and thought that this could be a SCAM company and my lovely range rover was on a cargo ship somewhere! So I head out with my partner to go to the police and here was the same guy who collected the car in the morning outside of the estate, parked up by a road with the bonnet/hood of the car open looking in at past 7pm. I jumped out and asked him what the hell he was doing and he couldnt really answer. He said he was trying to manually turn off a warning light on the dash. I still dont know if anything was done to my car but I have never been so relieved to have it back. Lesson learnt, dont cut corners with dodgy companies and only use reliable sources that you trust!

Failed to show up. Lack of communication - bombarded with emails until I paid in advance, then, - nothing. I’d asked the person on the phone to call me back by 3pm to confirm the car was booked in - nothing. The next morning I was up early for the pickup, however no one turned up and no communication from Servicing Stop. This has left me in the lurch as I won’t be able to go away for the weekend without an MOT. If I’d known, I would have booked elsewhere; but they don’t tell you, they just don’t show up after taking the payment. Also, the quote they first give you had added extras when you actually go to pay. I’ll never use them again. I’d rather give the money to a local business anyway than a bunch of call centre cowboys. If you do use this company, book well in advance and have a backup plan, also, be prepared to have to pay twice if they let you down. I had used them before and was quoted a ridiculous amount for the repairs. I declined and got what was necessary, (NOT everything they added on!!) for literally 1/4 the cost at a reputable local garage. I’d forgotten about that, (it’s my age! 🙄) till I read the reviews here.

Save first, overpay later Wouldn’t recommend using them unless you know your car stuff or want to be a mug like me… I booked an MOT and interim service. The car was picked up as arranged and a few hours later I received a link to the report for the interim service (a list of checked items that were done during the service). A short time later, this was followed by a phone call by one of the service reps from Servicing Stop. In the call I was told that there wasn’t anything major, that my MOT had only failed because of one light bulb (a bulb that, I was told, “doesn’t do anything much other than fail you on your MOT”, which we both laughed about) but that obviously I would need to have that fixed* and surely I wouldn’t want to pay for the MOT again (I did not). I was then told that there were a few suggested works and since I knew I wouldn’t understand the details just asked for the total, which I understood to be about £65 (which may sound low but fit the overall tone of the conversation which was “nothing much to do”). I agreed to that. Imagine my surprise when a few hours later I received my final invoice which wasn’t for £65 or even £650 pounds … but for £790! (*Since then, I looked up the MOT on the official government website and was again surprised that no failed MOT was logged, nothing about a tiny bulb, just a passed MOT with advisories that seem to be in no relation to the work allegedly needed or recommended.) Looking at the details on the invoice I realised all the optional works (beyond the alleged MOT fail and service advisories) were not only majorly overpriced (roughly £400 for items included in a major service by other companies that charge £220 for the entire service!), but apart from the amount I certainly hadn’t been told that it was WITHOUT VAT. And of course, looking at the whole business model, it makes sense to try and coax money out of you once the car is at one of their garages: The garage is chosen centrally and you’re only told after you made your booking – mine was 1.5 hours away, they sent two people and one of their cars, between the petrol and their time alone my initial payment would probably have been used up before they ever got to the services I paid for, let alone any profit for the garage or Servicing Stop. Furthermore, most of the communication throughout the whole process is through automated system messages and done online, notably NOT the step where you are told about and asked to agree to more work. Why not send a link to a form where you can check and uncheck options? Everything else is done that way … But, of course, then people would have time to think and not feel like they have to make a decision on the spot like I did. I begrudgingly paid the invoice to get my car back, got a call from the garage shortly after saying their driver wasn’t available anymore that evening (no problem), and then the next day – radio silence. After midday, I emailed Servicing Stop to ask where my car war – radio silence. A bit later I used their online chat system and was told the car would be back that evening. No calls, no messages, finally just someone at 9pm knocking on my door handing me back my keys. Seriously – don’t use them. It might work out for you if you’re car-savvy – the upfront costs are low and they seem to make more dates available than other MOT services (in fact, I only booked with them this time because none of the garages in my town could have done my MOT before it was due). But if you’re like me and your yearly MOT is already a source of trepidation and anxiety, learn from my mistakes and STAY AWAY.

Would never use again. Used as I needed my service/MOT done at short notice & they offered the convenience of collecting the car from home, and the basic price was very reasonable. The car was collected & I was told I'd get a call later that day with updates/an eta & the car would be returned "within 24 hours". When no call came I tried calling the company repeatedly with no reply. I emailed requesting an update. With nothing by the end of the day I contacted the mobile of the man who collected the car - he didn't know what was happening. Late the following day I finally got an update from Servicing Stop saying they'd had "system problems", but by car would be done imminently. There was no further contact for another day when they again blamed "System problems". They said the car needed new brake pads (work still had to be done!), but it would "feel like a new car upon return"! The price for work was obscene! It was yet another day before the car was returned. It's true, it did feel like a different car... it felt like the brakes had been put on backwards!! The car juddered an insane amount at the slightest touch of the brakes! Rather than take it back to them or their chosen garage (which I wasn't able to find out until after the car was returned with an advertising flyer), the lesser evil was to take it somewhere else for correction. (The comment from the new garage was "which cowboy fitted these!!) No, I wouldn't touch Servicing Stop again. Poor service, poor work, poor communication.

Twice cancelled booking on day of service. I would not trust this firm to organise anything and if they now think they would ever get their hands on my car they are very much mistaken. A really shoddy experience with this useless firm. Do not make the mistake of using these incompetents.
