Absolutely disgusted with the service, firstly I have taken a days holiday and the car was picked up 2-3 hours late on the day of the service and MOT by another garage in Bolton as the first garage who should have picked up my car had phoned in sick, had I not phoned I would have not been informed, left wondering. I have no car and have now been informed that I may not get my car back till Monday, its now Friday so a weekend without my car, took 20 mins to get through to someone at Bookings as the service department had closed. Said someone phoned mechanic in Bolton then got back to me, after chasing my tail for another half hour was left with the promise of a Saturday morning phone call and my car at 12 .... possibly once I pay online with a form they have yet to send. Shambles from the start, I had to go out and meet the person collecting the car because he got lost on the other side of my street. So been left with no car and no real answers. I had 390 miles of fuel, I will be checking that as well. I would not recommend this to anyone else just go to a local place near you.

I was really keen on the idea of this, so but the whole thing was an utter farce. I booked a service and MOT. On my online booking I enquired about two additional repair items and asked for somebody to get back to me about whether they would be possible/quote me (parts may need to be ordered). I got a call soon after and raised this again. However, the call kept cutting in and out on my mobile so I asked them to call me on my landline, which they did, but the call still kept cutting out so it must have been a problem their end, and then the call just cut out. The week before the appointment I sent a chase email. I did not hear anything, so a few days before the appointment I rang and they told me they were waiting for the garage to come back with a quote, but that somebody would chase it and get back to me the next working day (the day before the appointment). Nobody did. On the morning of the appointment, nobody turned up to collect my car in the agreed 0800-1000 window. After 15 minutes on hold I finally got through to Servicing Stop. They looked into it and told me that earlier that morning the garage had rang when they discovered they could not collect the vehicle and left a message, awaiting my instructions. This is a blatant falsehood. Nobody had called. There were no messages on either mobile or landline and there were no missed calls, so they either lied or rang the wrong number. Servicing Stop had my correct numbers (having called me on both), so if they did call a wrong number they either misdialled or were given the wrong number. I was asked about rescheduling to a date a week later. Fed up, I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would be called back shortly. Four hours later I still hadn't been called, so cancelled my booking. Needless to say I won't be trying them again.

I booked my Car service on Saturday. After I checked the reviews I decided to cancel. O my word, they don't answer any of their calls. I then emailed them, only to receive another service confirmation. Best advice rather use Kwikfit or one of the known service centres, just don't even try and book the service. If this is the type of public relations they think is acceptable to provide. I don't even want to know what type of Car service you will receive. How can they not even give you the option to tick more than one box? phone and email!!!

I now have firsthand experience of a cunningly advertised service which costs a lot more that you expect. I was offered a 60% cheaper full service and MOT at £97.52 and £19.00 respectively. My car would be collected and returned afterwards. At about 4pm I received the dreaded call. My car had failed its MOT and needed 2 repairs at £104.27 and £195.34. I was told these had to be done. When I finally received it the MOT refusal document stated that one of these defects was major to be repaired immediately and the other minor to be repaired as soon as possible. OK but then I was told my car also needed specialist oil – another £28.80. I was told the brake fluid needed changing at an added £97.92. I queried the brake fluid change and said this was not wanted (My phone records all my calls). I also asked about the brake fluid via email the evening before the work was to be done – no reply – they charged me for it anyway. I have a small KIA Picanto which they were aware of so I should have been advised the service was costlier. I have had this car from new and the cost of this service + special oil + brake fluid + MOT was higher that a major service by my KIA dealer who have serviced my car for 6 years and include all these fluids in the service price. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE THINKING OF USING SERVICESTOP TO THINK AGAIN. You will have added unnecessary costs which are hard to reason with a slick advisor in a 5-minute conversation. I was unable to access details about the costs until I had paid the £500+ and if you don’t pay they tell you your car ‘will not be released’. If I can save even 1 person from being conned by these people then my post would have been successful. Good luck. I do not want any more to do with this organisation.

Car came back dirty, oil marks on the outside. Spilled oil in the engine bay has now marked new drive. Conned into paying for more expensive oil. £24 extra. Car is basic Punto. That they couldn't provide a correct quote initially means they're either incompetent or dishonest. Personally I believe it is both. AVOID!

Really expensive prices for parts, don't know who's taking your car. Will never use these again after my local garage are going to charge me £10 to replace a bulb and not £26!!!

car picked up promptly and happy with the quote of £107 for Volvo Full Service. However this is where the good report stops. I was contacted by the customer service team telling me that there were other issues with the car eg brakes etc and the total cost was now over £800.00. My car was only 4yrs old with low mileage and had recently passed it's M.O.T. with no advisories. I declined their offer and just asked for the service which ended up £237.00 as they stated it needed other top up fluids engine flushes etc. The car was returned and they had forgotten the most important thing on the service... the service history book stamp. So two e-mails later which were ignored by customer services I waited 20 minutes on hold to find the garage that completed the service. The reason they said is they couldn't find the book despite me handing it to the mechanic on collection and it being on the passenger seat upon it's return. So I had to go to the garage myself and get it stamped. The moral of the story is if it's too good to be true it probably is....and use someone else

Was up at 6am expecting my car to be picked up between 8am and 10am. Phoned around 9am and was told not sure when the pick up would be as the garage did not open till 9am. Waited until 10am before phoning again to say the car had still not been picked up. After a lengthy wait was told the garage had tried to contact me to confirm pick up but I was not contactable!!!!! I was in all the time waiting patiently for a call. I had left them my main line and mobile number. NEVER AGAIN NEVER AGAIN even if they offered a free MOT and service.

Booked my car for mot and full service. Pick up was late. Drop off was late. Car failed mot on reportedly rear shock absorbers had a serious leak. Quoted me £1040 to repair! I took the car to another garage for a re-test. Passed mot with no reports of serious fault with rear shock absorbers. But had them replaced anyway for £215! And now three weeks after servicing stop have serviced my car, it’s coming up with the message “oil level incorrect” “check engine oil”! Go figure!! Con merchants!

Avoid, avoid, avoid! Late pick up, ridiculously late delivery (we were late for our holiday!). May seem cheap on the face of things but they recommended £650 of work on top. When I refused they dropped the price. Customer services is a nightmare to get through to with lengthy hold periods. I was told the car would be back between 4 and 6pm, then 100% that it would be back at 12pm the next day, then they were 20mins away, they eventually arrived at 1.30pm the next day. Complained to customer services who quoted the small print and offered £10 off an MOT - an offer I shall not be taking them up on. Please avoid!

Booked, confirmed by email and by phone call, received confirmation texts from Servicing Stop telling me ‘not to forget’ they would be picking up between 8 and 10am........took day off work, still sat waiting at 11:30am. Called the Enfield number and (after 10mins waiting) they could didn’t offer an explanation or offer to chase it up. I cancelled the booking. Wish I had read the reviews here first. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Disgrace-to begin with the scheduled service booked a year in advance was cancelled on the actual day it had to be done with no reasonable explanation causing undue stress and anxiety especially as a deposit was paid to secure the scheduled appointment. Then tried to charge me for work not needing done and when challenged was told the service book wasn't checked-how can one charge you for work without checking the service book-a loyal customer of 4 years lost. Will never go back.

Returned car damaged and refused to do anything about it. I booked an MOT through Servicing Stop in August. Car pick up was great, MOT passed, but when I returned home I found my car had a totally flat front wheel making it undriveable. Obviously something had happened when the garage was driving it home - probably bad luck rather than negligence, but the car was under their care at the time and the net result was I had been left with a car which had passed MOT, but now couldn't be driven. The garage's response was quite aggressive and focussed around asking me if I was accusing them of throwing nails on the road and then driving over them, so I contacted Servicing Stop with the hope they could resolve the situation. I was told the garage were too busy to rectify the situation, and I would need to resolve it myself and hopefully they would reimburse me. The reimbursement would need to be confirmed by Customer Services, but their response time was 5 days. I needed to drive the car, so got the tyre fixed and sent a receipt to Servicing Stop - their response has been to refuse to pay anything on the basis I went ahead without their approval. Servicing Stop - your business model is about making car care more convenient. Instead, you and your partner have done the exact opposite, returning my car damaged, then refusing to help fix it, and now refusing to reimburse me for my expense in fixing it. Not good.

This company are an absolute joke. Booked with them and they cancelled the first service. The next one got booked under the condition that they dropped that car back before a certain time, they agreed but I got the car back 2 hours late. Garage stated there was nothing wrong with the car, however they tried to charge me astronomical prices for a couple of advisories. The Servicing Stop adviser was very pushy with these too, trying to get me to pay these. I asked them to call me back in 10 mins and I got a quote from another garage for a quarter of the price. I refused the work and the adviser became huffy. When I got the car checked out by another garage i trust they said the work didn't need doing. I had also specifically asked for the brakes to be checked thoroughly as a slight squeaking had started but again the garage stated there was nothing wrong with the wheels or brakes. I challenged this and I kept contacting servicing stop on numerous occasions and I was fobbed off and got an email stating that servicing stop will vouch for the safety of my car. They should never have said this. Luckily I had the sense to get the car checked at another garage and the car had not only NOT been serviced but the brakes had not been checked and where so worn beyond any safe measure the garage couldn't let me leave without fixing. Now I have the report, images and pads for evidence and reported them to Trading Standards and they are still trying to fob me off. My family and myself have been driving around in that car and were in danger at every journey as the brakes could have failed at any time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!

Everything. The person picking my car up was rude and unprofessional. The garage never contacted me I had to contact them there times late afternoon before finding out. They charge an insane amount and have no care about the price or even trying to reduce it. The day after I had to get my tyre changed as it was below the legal limit!! What did they even chexk. £470 later disgusting!!
