“Brilliant service except lack of toilet for customers. I came with my husband so we were there for several hours. Helen was wonderful.”

“Easy to get a convenient appointment. Everything happened on time. The optician was very efficient and explained each process thoroughly. Help was given to choose appropriate frames and care taken to measure me up for a good fit.”

“Having had a very poor experience with one of your competitors I was put at ease by the helpful staff ( jennifer ) and she gave a very good description of what was going to happen. The optician was especially calming and professional and the process was stress free. When I returned to purchasing my spectacles jen was very helpful and I felt not just trying to sell a particular set . All in all the staff were excellent and I would highly recommend them”

“Just had an eye test in the Banbury branch - excellent!! All the staff were friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I need a new prescription so all the options were explained and help given choosing new frames. Well done everyone!”

“I attended your optocians in Hedge End recently , I was apprehensive as having previous poor experiences in Shirley and Gosport, the service I received in Hedge End was excellent , friendly welcoming staff, a very professional and reassuring optician, not only new hearing aids but ear mouds ordered as well, the outlet is a credit to your comany,please ensure my thanks is passed on to the very deserving. “Having dealt with an eye test, then solving frame suitability, my prescription was paid for and started, on two sets of specs - one rimless (my own) and one sports glasses. A week later I developed sudden double vision. After a series of visits to A&E, eye casualty and then an NHS Optometrist to prescribe prisms for temporary double vision correction, it was clear the week old order for eye lenses was going to have to be changed. Popped into Scrivens, Waterlooville each day, to keep them updated with the developing problem with my eyes and the information the NHS professionals were providing. In the end Belinda's team agreed not just to suspend the prescription order, but to cancel it and offer ed a full refund so that a fresh test could be carried out once the double vision issue had been resolved permanently. So impressed by the empathy and understanding shown by Belinda, the manager, and her team.”

“The customer service at Rotherham branch is exceptional, I have been going to scriven since I was 5 years old & they have always done everything they can to help you even when it comes to choosing your glasses, they will tell you which suits you & not try fobbing you off to get more money. Scrivens is the best optician by far.”

“Brilliant service, eye test very thorough and caring, checked, double checked, time was not an issue. The Staff were great, not pushy in any way, and concentrated on you not the profit. I would recommend Scrivens at Malton all day long. Knocks the socks off Specsavers.”
