“We used Fishponds Bristol Branch for mums hearing aids. For years she has complained the NHS aids were not helping in fact made things sound worse and she regularly did not wear them. When mum was diagnosed with mild mixed dementia we were told that she should remain sociable and hearing was important, mum did neither and things and so life became challenging for her that was until I went with her to meet with Deepti Rani at Scrivens and then what a difference! Granted we needed to pay for private hearing aids but the difference after two weeks of keeping in her hearing aids mum was brighter, more engaged with life and everyone she met. Her dementia is hardly noticeable now. I highly recommend ensuring hearing is checked regularly and if you can afford it invest in private hearing aids, for mum it brought her back to full engagement with the family. Thank you Deepti.”

“We use the Grantham branch for glasses and hearing aids. The staff there are extremely pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them .”

“Used the Diss branch for ear wax removal. I would highly commend Franchesca, super professional, great advice, can't fault. Photos of the ear canals taken before and after treatment. Quite satisfying seeing the removed black wax and images of clean ears. Worth every bit of the £60 charge. You can even book in a years time ish for a quick appraisal at no charge if you have been a previous customer.”

“Excellent service. I popped into the Midsomer Norton Branch to enquire about having prescription lenses put into my wrap around motorcycle glasses. Steve talked me through my options and pointed me in the right direction. I received them back two weeks later as he had told me and they’re spot on and I was very happy with the price.”

“The Scrivens staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They explained everything as did the person who conducted the eye test . He was very patient in finding the best prescription, especially for my double vision. The Scrivens staff kindly picked out spectacles which would suit the narrow bridge of my nose and helped me choose a pair. It was well after closing time but no one tried to hurry me.”

“Stepped off the path into the premises and was instantly given a cheerful welcome, I do suffer anxiety but I honestly felt at ease, very professional and informative staff and even laughed at my poor jokes, big thank you to all those at the Chipping Norton branch.”

“Visited the Banbury store. I was greated by very friendly and helpful staff. I needed swimming goggles, these were already ordered for me to try so I could order on the day. I was very pleased with my visit and look forward to receiving my goggles.”

“Masie at the Bicester Branch is extremely helpful , courteous and diligent. She has helped me repeatedly with my Lens Plan enquiries over the past year.
