“Why is your shop in Tewkesbury GL20 5JR always closed? I visited today, shop closed up. Sign on door saying closed Monday (yesterday) but no mention of it being closed Tuesday (today) I can't be the only customer to visit today and feel annoyed surely. Its very disappointing as I needed my new glasses adjusting as they are very uncomfortable on my nose, Gianni has already tried to adjust them twice. Appears the shop is struggling. Are Scrivens about to go bump?”

“Steve and his team at the Midsomer Norton branch are amazing. They made me feel totally at ease and made the whole experience from eye test to choosing frames, really fun and enjoyable. The service was professional and friendly and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you.”

“I recently purchased a new pair of varifocal glasses (cost £688.00) from Your Peterborough branch, and was offered a pair of identical sunglasses and frames for half price. When I selected the glasses I was surprised to find that I was charged £15.00 extra for the tint. No mention of the increase above 50% discount was mentioned until I came to pay, i.e for the sunglasses. I paid the extra, but it would have been far better if I had been told beforehand that an extra £15.00 would be added. Other than this the service was superb.”

“My last dealings with Scrivens will be exactly that. Having paid over £600 for glasses, which turned out faulty, the replacement glasses, also faulty. I’m now waiting for yet another replacement.”

“I have to say, it was one of the best experiences. I did a walk-in appointment, and Dawn who greeted me was absolutely lovely. Being nervous, she had sensed this and put me at easy. It was like I was chatting with an old friend. She made you fill comfortable and welcomed. Everything about this experience was easy and relaxing. Will be definately going back for next check up!”

“It is unusual to find such a gem these days! Incredible staff, Shar was simply brilliant! Wonderful service in a calm, unrushed environment. So helpful and knowledgable - it really left me feeling uplifted that, in this chaotic World there are still some people that have the will, desire and passion to give such a professional, caring and personal service. “Hearing aids upgraded after 3yr test, very happy with service and new hearing aids, I like the new colour, I have very short hair and nobody has yet mentions they can see them, I'm very happy... thank you”

“BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER TWO YEARS PAID NEARLY £3000 FOR HEARING AIDS, CUSTOMER CARE HAS BEEN DIGRACEFULL OF LATE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 RECHARABLE BATTERIES FOR 7 WEEKS NOW HAVING PAID £60 FOR THEM.YOU RING AND HAVE TO LISTEN TO AWFULL MUSIC AND NO ONE ANSWERS SO GIVE UP.NEVER WILL GO BACK TO SCRIVENS”

“I knew my hearing was bad,but didn't realise how bad. Paulina gave a brilliant assessment, fitted hearing aids there and then,adjusted them to my needs. Explained all I needed to know. I can now hear brilliantly, even my cat meowing. I'm really happy. Thank you so much for making my life a lot better.”

“Genuine question, what has happened in your Tewkesbury shop? The new staff appear disinterested unless you are spending £££££'s as my wife found out! I was ignored for over 5 minutes when I entered the shop, granted they were serving others, however no eye contact, no offer of a seat, not even a smile - it is just rude. Atmosphere didn't feel friendly or warm anymore. After 5 minutes I walked out. Not missing much as my wife had her eye's tested there recently and the new manager smelled like he'd smoked 100 fags before serving her and called her the wrong name twice. She was to polite to say anything whilst there. You need to sort it out, it is a small town and people talk.”
