The branch manger was helpful at the start with new glasses as he was getting a big sale, but as i had problems with the glasses and i was given a 30 day money back grantee on the glasses i went back within this time scale, the after care and requesting a refund which the branch manger really did not want to give for the said glasses, it was shocking and upsetting as i felt the branch manger was really not helpful or caring when i went back to pick up a pair of glasses he could not look at me when he spoke and he never even asked how the glasses felt just asked if i could read ok. very disappointing and upsetting considering i am a long term customer

Service was ok and polite. I did feel pressured to buy glasses and was not told that the price was per lense. I was told if a refer a friend that i would be sent a £25 gift voucher, they took me details and my friend had an appointment 2 hours after me. I have not received the voucher. I probably will not use the optician again.

The staff at Witney store were helpful and keen to help. When I purchased the new specs I was told I would get a £25 voucher but as of yet have not received it. If you are offering offers then they should be followed up with the customer. In all it was an average service.

Had to wait two weeks for the glasses and when I received them they were bent so had to be returned and waited a further week. Staff were very pleasant though.

Optician service fully satisfactory. Hearing test is poor - in that no effort is made to find out if the customer might have wax in their ears, so inhibiting hearing. Hard to take Scrivens seriously on hearing.

A mix of very good eye test/optician, and poor ‘’front of house’’ service [including calling me in to collect my spectacles when only one of the two pairs were available —inspite of explicit request to the contrary] -and the usual, completely unfeeling and completely un-meant ‘’I can only apologise—it must have been a computer glitch......’’

Friendly, Polite Staff who were Very helpful. I've given a 3* Star Rating due to the limited choice of Glass Frames.

the quality of frames most unsatisfactory. Broken twice recently causing delays with repairs therein. .Mill Hill branch staff do their best. .

eye test very thorough. Disappointed in price saw the sign outside in the morning saying eye test £15.00. Once home decided to book online managed to get in today but when I paid it was £30.00! When I asked about the sign saying £15.00 the gentleman said I needed a voucher, No mention of voucher on sign!! Don't think I will be returning to choose new glasses

the eye test was good and thorough, the glasses arrived as per agreed date, however the actual appointment was about 40min late as there was a new computerised system in operation or not as it seemed, causing very long delays, not good in fact very poor nobody seemed to know what to do, phone calls here there everywhere, and still l waited.

The staff in the shop are great, but you need to expand your choice of frames that you hold in store. Personally speaking, I'm not interested in looking at frames online and then ordering them in to the shop. This takes too long. I want them available in the shop for me to view at the time I'm told I need new glasses. Other opticians have much more choice and are usually more affordable. I'm unlikely to get my next pair of glasses from Scrivens.

Whilst being eternally grateful to the actual opterimist who carried out my sight test and in so doing noticed that I had a detached retina, which resulted in my needing two operations, thus saving my sight, I was disappointed that Scrivens refused to fit my prescribed lenses into a favourite old pair of frames that I had, resulting in my having to chose an inferior set of frames at a cost of nearly £100.00. I went on to purchase a much better quality pair of glasses on-line at a cost of only £35.00

Optician was very efficient and gave me confidence that I would finish up with improved vision. Unfortunately, this was not matched by the rest of the team as both pairs of glasses were made to the wrong prescription. Doubt if I will use Scrivens again.

I was told I would get an email when my specs. would be ready but I never recieved one . So in the end I went in and was told they had been there a day or two. This was not good as I had paid up on the day of consultation.

The Optician has been for some time now very good at his job. The sales team are more overpowering and lean to wards intimidation by following up the most clever worded fishing offers. ie rewards that are not applied.
