“I had my eyes tested today at Newark today. For reasons I don’t really understand I hate having my eyes examined. The understanding and care I received were exemplary. Thank you to all your staff who saw me.”

“Went to Scrivens in Swadlincote today. I had the most helpful and caring staff, from the receptionist Sarah when I entered, to Natasha who got my hearing aids sorted via a very prompt and caring audiologist. Thankyou.”

“Wimborne Branch/Amazing - saved my sight! Thank you for picking up sight loss and potential retinal detachment af my recent visit and referring me to hospital. It was a detachment and apparently if left a few days longer central vision would have been lost. You are amazing as this was missed by an NHS consultant who said the dark patch would clear!!! Thank you so much to the Canadian optician and the lady who carried out the sight test. David”

“1st pair were not what i was looking for, possibly my fault, but they changed them for free and i was very happy with the results, the staff are very polite and professional.”

“I just had a wonderful experience at Scrivens in Enfield at Palace Gardens. My glasses broke and I looked around for the most “family orientated” looking shop. The two young ladies were very attentive and helpful. More importantly they were extremely polite. I wasn’t charged and they were happy to help me. A real 5 star experience ***** Thank you Chloe and Shannon 10/10 Best wishes Kevin Sommelier (Hakkasan Hanway Place)”

“Having used Scrivens Opticians Feltham for many years I have always found all the staff very helpful and patient, willing to make sure my glasses are correctly fitted particularly as I always have verifocal lenses. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They inspire confidence knowing that they really care. Thank you.”

“I attended the Ashby De La Zouch branch on Market Street on 17/04/23 and on entering was spoken to with no delay. I went into the hearing test/equipment room and the female audiologist was friendly - detailed - attentive and provided me with my needs having raised questions which resulted in a speedy fitting of the free hearing aids. The visit was as near perfect as could be and was above my expectations.”

“Had a very good hearing test at Aldridge shop very efficient everything was explained, very understanding and answered any question I asked. Absolutely delighted with test and hearing aids. Can fully recommend.”

“I want to thank all of your team at 262 High Road, Leyton. To Tracey, Jo and Fouad, you are special and you really went out of your way for me in helping me with my hearing aids. “Excellent service for both my husband and myself recently. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Good choices of specs at reasonable price. Husband's eye problem received an immediate refferal by the optician, such that he has an appointment at the hospital next week. Similarly, we'll done NHS for quick response.”

“The staff at the branches ( Corporation Street and Kings Heath) I attend are very effective and efficient in their customer service. They show a lot of caring and helpfulness when preparing for your eye test from selecting your pair of glasses, to ensuring you feel comfortable when trying and wearing them also fit perfectly on your face. Thank you staff at Corporation Street and KIngs Heath, sorry I can remember everyone's name but you all are wonderful and kind. God bless.”

“For a number of years now i have always used larger high street opticians having to go back and forth many times to deal with problems with any new glasses i have had. This time i decided to go with my local optician Scrivens in Cheadle in Staffordshire they had the time to deal with me any questions get answered helped me choose glasses that were right for me checked and measured my eyes so as when i got my new glasses they were right first time, not even a struggle getting use to them all this no rush. Treated as a customer not a number well done and thank you.”

“Enter the Grantham branch and I was immediately in an oasis of calm. I was greeted and quickly led to the testing room where Raj (Optometrist?) checked my medical history and performed all the tests I needed whilst clearly explaining (with a cutaway model of an eye) what the tests meant and how my eye responded to various events. Raj was very profesional, knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of frames - no pressure to choose and all the prices visible! Quickly ran through the options, had eyes measured and done! Absolutely 5 star service from Raj, Simone (Branch Manager, I believe) and the lady training to be as good as the others (sorry I didn't catch your name, but if your bright red hair is a reflection of your personality then you will go far!). Looking forward to my next visit in 2025 already!”

“It was the first time my son had an eye test, the staff were very welcoming and professional. The optician was very good talking with my son and this put him at ease. I can’t fault the experience from start to finish. Thank you!!”

“The customer service at the Upper St Giles Street Norwich was excellent. As this was my first hearing aid I was pleased at the information I received. Hannah was really helpful during test and then the fitting of my first hearing aid. Really happy with all the staff at this branch. I would recommend to any one I know who is needing this sevice. Thankyou.”
