“The requirement to need Hearing Aids was alien to me, but I was fitted with a NHS Hearing Aid and then progressed to a private Hearing Aid. I attended the Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care Branch at 41 Corporation Street, Birmingham B2 4LS and the Service which I received throughout from Umar (Audiologist) was first class, he is excellent and a real credit to Scrivens Hearing Care. Umar was so helpful, patient and clearly an expert in his field. Nothing was a trouble to him and Umar demonstrated a high level of care towards me, the Customer. The Reception Team at the 41 Corporation Street, Birmingham Branch are so pleasant and helpful too. This Branch is highly recommended by myself who is very satisfied with Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, Corporation Street, Birmingham B2 4LS Branch.”

“I went to the Glossop Road branch and the staff were all so friendly and helpful right from the first meeting through to getting my glasses. Brilliant team of people and would recommend to anyone who wants honest expert advice on their eye sight.”

“My husband and I go to the St Ives (Cambridgeshire) branch and are consistently very impressed with the expertise and the level of care, concern and commitment shown by all whom we meet there. "Excellent service and clinical excellence" is indeed their goal and they do not fall short of it. I strongly recommend them to anyone who has problems with either hearing or any aspect of eyecare. The shop is tucked away in Crown Street, PE27 5 AB. (And there is a half-price sale on frames at the moment!)”

“Visited the Gosport branch today for a hearing test. I just want to that the service I received from the caring understanding compassionate professional audiologist young lady Miss E O’Mahony was 5 ***** all the way. I could not have been dealt with better than the polite understanding way she did with me. I hope the branch manager reads this and values such a wonderful member of their team. I must also mention Andrew who guided me through how I maintained my hearing aid and how they worked he was a really nice man who was 100% professional and polite. Thank you both, you both put me at my ease in what was a stressful time for me. I would 100% recommend the Gosport branch without hesitation.”

“I went into the rugeley store and I honestly cannot find a fault. Rosie catered to my every need and nothing was too much trouble. Louise was lovely and was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this service to everyone I know. Well done girls!”

“For many years I have been traveling out of my home town, Chipping Norton, to visit a audiologist in a major town. Recently when I felt my hearing aids needed replacing, I decided to visit Scrivens, who have a branch right here. I wished I had done this before: I got an appointment with an extremely helpful audiologist very quickly and he took me through my options, including NHS aids. I decided once again to purchase aids privately and the re-chargeable Oticon aids that he recommended cost less than I thought they would. Two weeks later I had them fitted and was immediately aware of the improvement. More importantly, my wife also noticed, and communication was so much better! A couple of weeks later I had a follow-up appointment when the audiologist helped me with the Oticon app and changed the earpieces to help me to fit them more easily. Altogether I am extremely pleased with my new hearing aids and the service I received from Scrivens, not only from the audiologist but also from the rest of the helpful staff at that branch.”

“My wife & I visited the Fakenham branch and found all the staff both helpful and welcoming. They were having trouble with their computer system, but did not stop them dealing with us both in a very satisfactory manner.”

“My 96 year old mom needed wax removal and adjustment on her hearing aids. What fabulous customer care from Sophie at Sutton Coldfield. You must be very proud of staff who make such a difference to peoples lives with the empathy and care they show.”

“Left on Google maps.... This place really is a cut above the rest !! I've just come back from my visit to Scrivens opticians on Stratford rd in Shirley I've never had an eye exam but found my left eye now has blurry vision. I don't qualify for free NHS eye tests because I work.. but they do all the NHS services. I found a voucher for Scrivens online giving me an eye exam for just £10... So I booked this location. The shop has a multitude of frames to suit all pockets, you can get very expensive look for a surprisingly low price 👓🕶️🤓 There is also a huge selection half price in the sale currently Let's get to the service I received... that was 2nd to none... Very professional from start to finish Every member of staff I dealt with was fantastic... Courteous, professional, smartly dressed and really knew their jobs. Members of the team did the initial tests using the latest (hospital grade) optical testing machines. Dhillon was the optician that interpreted the results and did a close in-depth inspection of my eyes... He took the time to closely inspect each eye with a light and magnifier and test a range of lenses... Again he was very professional and very informative. 2 machines are usually used for the test but there was a new optional 3d imaging machine that cost me an extra £10 that produced a image of the back of the eyes showing the blood vessels and different layers of the eyes. Everything in the shop was clinically clean and there was plenty staff. photos show the shop and the massive range of frames... I also took photos of the machines they used I have sat and waited for my wife's exams in the past at other opticians (not Scrivens) they have only taken a few minutes and not very in-depth.... nothing compared to this one... The optician during his close inspection did find a cataract on my left eye... He explained the procedure to fix it then emailed all the information to Spa Medical to start the process of getting it removed. What a fantastic service and a very thorough eye exam from an exceptional team... I would highly recommend Scrivens to anyone after the service I received here today. --------------------- update info Same evening I was contacted by spa medica... Had a pre op today 3rd Jan And I'm scheduled to have the op on Thursday 11th of Jan... Fantastic result in such a short time. Very pleased !!”

“I had an emergency eye issue and the Opticians in Wem responded immediately. Got me in to see Rosie the resident Optician for a full eye exam and health check. All the staff were great but Rosie is something special, I feel completely confident in her care. Thank you to them all for their care of me and the thoroughness of their approach. So very appreciated.”

“I just happened to call in on the off-chance as I lost my bud from the end of my hearing aid . Even though I'm not registered with them a really helpful young lady very kindly offered to make sure it wasn't stuck in my ear canal . Luckily it was OK. I would just like to say a big thank you to her so THANK YOU”
