“Delivered within time frame, however given cost of delivery would not expect any less. Driver very pleasant and most helpful. Have only had time to unpack some of the wood and have found a small portion unusable due to bowing. Fully appreciate that this maybe something out of your control. Website easy to use and yes, would recommend you to others.”

“I brought 2400mm decking. All boards were all pretty much the same length, within about 0.5cm of each other, but every single board was at least 2.5cm + shorter than the advertised size. I understand that the dimensions are only approximate, however I took that to mean a few cm either side. When they're so consistent in size, it seems very cheap to short change you on each board. Whilst 2.5cm isn't very much, that difference means i now have to do a lot more work.”

“Very happy with work top received however Aftersales service not so great, despite 3 calls so far and assurances of a call back each time to no avail, I needed to obtain end strips for work top, which I assumed was included, still waiting for call back or email! not impressed with after sales service”

“Very happy with customer services and our order, I placed the order on behalf of my 82 year old mum and could not fault the deliver driver from Tuffnells, he was a gent and placed our order in garage as requested for mum, very happy customer!! “Ordered 30 boards. 3 of the 5.4m boards arrived damaged and unusable. Called to company and explained that I needed the boards by the weekend as I had a contractor coming to fit them. I was told sorry we don't do Saturday delivery and too late to get them out for Friday. When I again explained to Gavin the issue I was facing he rudely told me "we're just going around in circles aren't we". Fast forward 4 days and new boards arrived. All 3 replacements were again split and damaged and totally unusable. I again contacted the company and explained the issue and simply asked for a refund as id had enough of the poor service and delays. I received unsympathetic responses. On asking for a full refund I was told yes that's fine once you've sent the old boards back.... poor attitude I have now sent all boards back and I believe my refund is being processed. I will never again use Savoy timber. I am left with decking which is unfinished as my contractor is now booked up again for 3 weeks. I am shocked to have received this kind of service from a so called family business, having ran a family business for many years and being so aware of the importance of customer service. I will certainly make sure I make others aware of my experiences through my own online portals with Savoy timber so others can avoid the poor experience I have received. Ben Johnson”

Hi Mr Johnson, I would like to apologise for the issues you had with your order. We sometimes use external couriers to dispatch goods so sometimes damages are our of our control. We do however try our best to replace damaged boards as soon as we can. It is very unfortunate that your replacements where also damages and again apologise. We normally don't recommend booking in any contractors until all goods have been received and checked. We state this in our terms and conditions and we advise this just incase instances like this out of our control occur. Again our sincere apologies you were not happy with our service. Hi There, Sorry to hear you found the door wasn't straight when you came to fit it. Its not something I have come across before ,as it's normally more likely the opening might not be quite square. Obviously if we had known prior to the goods been fitted we would have swapped the door for you immediately. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards Lisa
