“I easily found the product I was looking for on your website and purchased a graded item at a good price, the description and photos accurately showed what I was purchasing and I wasn't disappointed when the product was delivered. Overall I was happy with my experience and would purchase from you again but I have given a 4-star review instead of 5 because communication around delivery could have been better. My order confirmation stated that the product would be delivered on Monday 17th April, I arranged to be home and to have a friend come round in the evening to help me install it. At 10.00 on Mon 17th, I called to see if I could get an indication of the time of delivery and was told that my delivery was booked for Weds 19th. The person I spoke to explained that you only deliver to my area on Wednesdays and apologised that no one had called to let me know. He advised that the delivery would be made on Weds 19th between 10am - 4pm and that if there was a problem someone would call me. I arranged to be home all day on Weds 19th, it was getting late in the day so around 2.30 I called to check that it was on its way and was told that the delivery was booked for Thurs 20th. The person I spoke to said that you don't usually use your vans to deliver to my area (RG24) but as you had several deliveries in the area you were using your vans instead of a courier. He apologised for whoever informed me that the delivery was going to be on Weds 19th and that it would definitely be on Thurs 20th. He said he would get the delivery driver to call me when he knew his route to give me an indication of the delivery time so I didn't have to wait all day. I got a call at 9.30 on Thursday as promised to say they would be with me within an hour and the product was successfully delivered.”

“I am a returning customer from two years ago. A visit to the store is not really necessary as the online shopping experience - although basic - is adequate. On both occasions, Tristan has been brilliant in guiding me through the stock offerings and also suggesting other options that merit consideration. I really cannot see myself buying major appliances from anyone else - unless these guys don't stock what I am looking for.”

“Purchased a Tumble dryer, which was priced matched with the large retail outlets. Much more personal advice and service in the shop, also immediate delivery the next day. More reassurance knowing they are local in case of issues. Would definitely give them first refusal for any further purchases in the future. Friendly staff in the shop :-)”

“Always excellent service by all the staff here, very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I needed to get my elderly mother a small fridge and Ruislip Appliances were able to help and recommend a suitable product. They also delivered the next day and removed all the packaging, beat that Currys! I have used Ruislip Appliances for at least 20 years and will continue to do so, shop local and get great service is my motto.”
