“Had a freezer breakdown late Thursday evening Tried PC World who told me 10 days for delivery of a new freezer!!!!! Then remembered Ruislip Appliances - went into shop just before 12 noon. Saw/liked/bought a new freezer which was delivered at 16.20pm. that afternoon. NOW THAT’S Service. Ruislip Appliances will be my first port of call in future. Thank you all so much”

“Your online system allowed me to order a fridge and agree a delivery date of the next day. You did not have stock so delivery could not happen, but your system has no checks in place for such an event. Instead of a phone call to discuss, I was emailed a quote for a more costly fridge with no indication why. I had to call you to find out my fridge was out of stock, and your firm took the money, without the item being available. Having asked for email confirmation that a refund was on its way I had to phone again to chase you for a refund. Better communication would be useful.”

Our system does not usually allow this to happen, and does have control of stock, so I can only apologies for this anomaly, and also for the lack of communication on our part.

“The guy served was helpful, paid £25 to recycle old fridge, which I was getting free elsewhere. Along with free delivery which I paid to them £15. Else was quick to deliver and hopefully should be okey if there is any repairs needed in Warrenty as I have been told. Thank you guys”

“I wanted to promote local businesses and thought of giving this business to Ruislip appliances. But I regreted the decision during the process. The Australian accent sales person was so unhelpful and uncooperative during the process . Make sure you have good customers focused staff in the store there are plenty of Uk staff who are more willing to work look after your customers better!!”

We don't employ any Australian staff - but more importantly our guys are usually extremely helpful and polite, it is something we pride ourselves on! I can only apologies for your experience - and assure you that this is not the norm!

“Excellent service, on time, installers did the job perfectly, sorted the warranty in no time, friendly, approachable, knowledgable. An asset for our high street. An area for improvement might be removing shoes when entering the house, but this might be just me being ‘tidiness freak’ :) Well done guys amazing work”

Thank you Mr Tzanidakis for taking the trouble to leave us a 5 star review. Apologies for any footprints left - you are very entitled to be a tidiness freak :) The problem that we have is that the delivery guys need to be wearing steel toe capped boots, due to the nature of the products that they are carrying. We trialled the use of she coverings, but they guys then had to put the product down at the door in order to put the coverings on which wasn't practical and dirtied the underside of the box which we they then brought inside! So apologies, but until we come up with a better solution we just need to hope for dry weather! Thanks again and thank you for your business!

“Excellent service from the company. Ordered the machine in the morning and it was installed that afternoon. Unfortunately it went wrong, not Ruislip Appliances fault, and it was replaced almost instantly. Brilliant service in my view.”

“Really poor delivery drivers literally dumped double fridge freezer by our front door inside even though husband removing kitchen door while they arrived ran off jumped in van with out q wrd ! Called office more helpful member of staff said well they hve lots of deliveries poor service 😕”

“We've been using Ruislip Appliances for many years, and would not hesitate to recommend them to other people. It's reassuring to know that they are local, so any issues can be dealt with quickly, as opposed to dealing with a call centre and company that could be based anywhere. “When the fan finally failed in our very old cooker hood Ruislip Appliances found a suitable replacement. They also recommended a local tradesman to remove the old hood and install the new one; he was very friendly, highly competent and did a great job.”
