“We only ordered a bath seal kit, which was in stock and dispatched the following day. However I don’t know where they’re shipped from as it took over a week to finally get delivered. I appreciate it’s a Covid period, but I’ve not had this kind of delay on anything else I’ve ordered from other retailers, especially once dispatched. So if you have time on your hands and aren’t in the midst of a bathroom renovation, then give Rubberduck a go. If you’re in a rush though, then maybe look elsewhere or pay the extra for their expedited shipping options and hope!”

“A dry sauna can be DIY for less than 200 pounds. 1. Get some wood pallets FREE. 2. Cut to floor size available. 3. Make 2in x 2inch wood frames for each side. Leave 2 ft gap for door.. Cover one side with pine cladding. 13 pieces 2 meter . Needed 3 bundles. £70. 4. Buy a bundle of roof insulation 30£ from Wicked. Split into 2. Stuff behind cladding. 5. Buy 4 1200x1800 plaster boards for outside cladding. Screw all sides to pallets. 6. Either cut har dboard or outboard say 6 x 4. Hard board 8£. Ply 16. Cover flooring with link or tiles. Link 20 tiles wickes 20 £. Total 130. 2x2 timber 70£. Build a frame to fit the top and cover it with,plastic both sides. Screw,at,an angle. plastic 2£. Find old door with glass at top . Cut to size and install opening to outside. N0 CATCH. JUST,CLICK SHUT LIKE A WARDROBE OR MAGNATIC OR KITCHEN HINGES. BUY A NEW 1500 OR 2000 WT. SINGLE HOB FOR £15. EBAY. PLACE ON 2 BRICKS AND COVER WITH LARGE BISCUIT TIN. INSTALL A ROOM THERMOSTAT IN THE HOB CABLE. DONT USE WATER FOR STEAM WHEN HEATER IS ON. GOOOOOD. LUUUUCK . SAUNA READY COST. £ 230.”

If you're really looking to save some money and your time, you could simply go home and pop the heating on and close the doors in one of the smaller rooms of your house and hey presto!! “Regardless of the pandemic causing issues I received my order within a week however communication from the provider/ courier was poor. I emailed after a couple of days to get an eta and the reply I got was it’s out for delivery and will be deliver that day. I emailed back for an update the day after to be they couldn’t give me an eta it a arrived the day after. A bit of a palava but the products arrived in pristine condition”

“Very helpful staff, but getting a delivery date was frustrating as their supplier (goods were being despatched direct from Abacus Bathrooms) kept failing to dispatch the goods. Told delivery would be 3-5 days (understandable that covid / xmas is straining the delivery staff). The below is not aimed at Rubberduck staff, but will hopefully help them get a better service from their suppliers. First delivery date notified was 7 days after placing the order (Monday); which with the above issues I was happy to accept. However, after waiting in all day there had been no delivery or contact from Abacus or their delivery team. Rubberduck chased for me, and I was advised the items had been picked and should be dispatched for deliver Weds. Another missed deliver, and told Thursday - which was missed as well, to be told would be delivered Friday (which arrived). My frustration is that I had no contact from Abacus or their delivery provider - so I could I not go out for fear of missing the delivery...... The staff at Rubberduck kept chasing for me, and were very apologetic throughout.”

“We did actually call them to ascertain what time they planned to deliver our items, we were told there was slight problem , but they didn't know what the problem was! We were told it would be a couple of days later than the initial notification, which we didn't mind about. On the day of delivery we received a phone call about ten minutes before they arrived, which was very helpful and the driver himself was very helpful with the actual delivery.”

Good Morning Darren, Thanks for ordering with us. It's great to hear the items arrived in a timely fashion and without any damage during transit. We price these items with the delivery cost included in the item cost, which is why you may have noticed a price difference on first glance. Other retailers add the delivery cost at the end just before you complete your purchase. You'll find the price points are much closer when delivery costs are added. “Happy with ordering, information and customer service. However I was not informed the shower tray would be coming direct from the manufacturer and did not receive an email alerting me to the delivery. I therefore recommend they increase there levels of consumer communication.”

“Good service and shower boards delivered undamaged on a pre-agreed date. Except only the fittings turned up. lol Had to call and rebook for shower board delivery. Bit of miscommunication but not the end of the world. Will use again.”
