“No problem with Rubberduck but waited in all day on the appointed delivery day but it didn't arrive and no contact from the delivery company, arrived midday the following day. So perhaps you could have a word with DX about their customer service.”

As you rightly mentioned, the courier networks used across the UK are facing a lot of pressure to fulfil orders with reduced staff and working restrictions in place under the current climate, which has resulted in a few more issues than usual. “Staff at Rubberduck very helpful and friendly. Not so happy about the the delivery aspect. I realise that there may be restrictions due to Covid. However, I was not informed what day it would be delivered. I rang to check and would have been quite happy if it had been the following week. I was informed that it was to be that day. I had to deliver some medicine to a family member so I told your employee that I would leave the side gate open and put a note on the door for the delivery company. I was away an hour tops, came home to an email saying that they couldn't deliver the item as no-one was in!!! So much for making alternative arrangements. I am still waiting for a new delivery date.”

Hi Maxine, Thank you very much for the feedback and apologies for any confusion with delivery notifications. In this instance, it seems the issue caused by an incorrect contact number that was added during the checkout process. This meant the courier could not get through to anyone on the day of delivery to let you know the time they would arrive. After confirming the correct contact info, we have since contacted the manufacturer and we are now waiting on a new date/time for delivery. Unfortunately, the manufacturer in question is operating a reduced service due to the ongoing pandemic and as such is only operating email communication. This means a response may take longer to arrive than if we could simply pick up the phone. We hope this explains any delay on your order and we would like to thank you for buying with us.
