“Whilst searching online for bathroom products, this is just about the best website I came across. It seemed to have everything we needed, plus handy hints for things we'd missed in our basket, and a range of things that were great quality and cater to all tastes. So, "front of house" operations are pretty great to be fair. But in equal and opposite measure, the "back of house" stuff is dreadful. Items dispatched totally willy nilly, no notice of when you need to stay at home to receive your items, if you don't happen to be at home, no delivery note saying they missed you is left. You call customer services and get told "Tuesday" this week and then it turns out to be Thursday. With no notice it swapped from one to the other. They claimed they'd called but if they did, they never left a voicemail and e-mail would have been far more practical. The items, when they did finally come, were in a shocking state with packaging near totally destroyed, its a wonder none of the items had to be returned. Total shambles.”

Good morning Lloyd, We're sorry to hear you feel the service could be improved. We can see this order was placed on the evening of the 14th and a dispatch email was sent over on the morning of the 16th. This email contained your ETA of the 19th, which was the Thursday. The panel ordered was distributed directly by the manufacturer. We pay for a delivery service that allows your delivery to be booked in VIA a telephone call prior to dispatch. Which helps customers to be present at the point of delivery. If the call was made and a message was not left we can only apologise. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

“The product supplied by you is first class and has made a great job. How ever the tub of water proof sealant was completely slit down one side of the tub. This was obviously known before dispatch because it had been sealed into a plastic bag, which on opening was very messy.”

Good afternoon Stephen, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with your delivery. We can assure you however that we would never knowingly dispatch any damaged item. To dispatch a tub of sealant (that could have ruined everything else contained in the delivery) would have caused numerous issues from a customer service / reputation management point of view. As well as impacting what small profit we make on each order, given the team would have to organise replacements etc. It simply would not be worth the hassle. The installation kits arrive pre-boxed and are supplied directly from the manufacturer and we send them out as is. We do check an amount for QC purposes as they come in to us and it's very rare that we find any issues. Hi Michael, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We do think some wires have been crossed here as (up until reading this review) we had no record of an issue with your delivery. We understand you had a conversation with a customer service operative on Friday - as explained during that call, if you had replied to an email using a no reply email address, we would not have picked up that communication. We do advise on the email address to use in the event of any issue across the website and in all emails sent post transaction too. For reference It's highlighted in bright red bold writing within all emails sent. Even though the matter has not been reported within timescales or through the correct channels, we have still raised the issue with the manufacturer and requested they credit the outstanding adhesive on the order. Once that credit is confirmed, we will process your refund without delay. It's important to read and understand the procedures to follow when purchasing online but we fully understand it's easy to make mistakes and will help as much as we can in those instances. “Very responsive staff to my queries. A comprehensive range of products for my two bathrooms to be completely refurbished. Easy to pay, once I convinced myself Rubberduck was an OK business - I had absolutely no reason at all to harbour any doubt - simply a flaw in my character! Delivery all according to expectations. “I ordered most of the new en-suite from Rubber Duck, although with delivery to my Mums address 300 miles away, was unsure how flexible the delivery would be. Half came direct from the warehouse and half came direct from Showerwall. I was really pleased when it all got delivered on the morning of the day requested (which was agreed after ordering) As I had a long drive down, it was important to have it in time to start the work, and Rubber Duck Bathrooms agreed this and arranged it. The shower tray ordered was very robust - however very heavy. It could be worth showing approximate weights on the web site (as I needed another strong person to help install it). It must have been near 100kg. Everything else went in well, and everything fitted well. Top marks to Rubber Duck Bathrooms from me. Order with confidence! I will be using them again.”
