After ordering shower wall panels I got an email saying "Your order has been dispatched" in LARGE print, then the first line of the email in small print saying "Your Rubberduck Bathrooms order has been dispatched" so one may assume that the order had been dispatched although this was not the case. Some line down there was a sentence saying that the order would not arrive for almost 3 weeks. So in my view, this was a lie just so the company could get the order off their waiting list. Not very happy about this. I would say that now the panels have been installed they do look good.

Good Afternoon Mr Farrow, We're sorry to hear about the confusion on your delivery dates. Most of the larger wall panels displayed are distributed directly by the manufacturer that produces them. We receive the dispatch confirmation and an ETA from them as soon as the routes are planned and/or panels are moved to suit the delivery location. As soon as this comes through, we send the notification over to customers with the delivery ETA displayed in the first line of the email. This ensures customers can make arrangements as early as possible and make sure they can be present at the point of delivery. All of which helps to avoid any delays. To be honest paying £39 for standard delievery it a bit shocking especially when you place a order expecting it to be dealt with with in a decent space of time..so a tuesday..only to ring and be told.they dont dispatch on a friday (this after i placed the order prior tuesday..) not the best service and customer service is not the best

Good Morning Mrs Lewis, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with a recent delivery. We can see from the order details the order was placed on Thursday the 28th. As it was a Bank Holiday weekend, your order was prepared for dispatch to be sent on a next day service first thing on Tuesday morning of the 3rd. When the office re-opened. When calling for an update, it was explained that the reason we don't look to dispatch with FedEx over a long weekend, was simply due to an increase in damages in transit when we do. This is a decision made based on customer feedback over the years to help minimise the risk of any delays or costs. We can see tracking links were also provided at the time, so you could monitor the items in transit too. Again, we're sorry you feel this is not a good service. 2/5 Days delivery - NO - 7 DAYS - HENCE MY BATHROOM WAS NOT COMPLETED ON TIME!!! EXCUSES FROM ALL PARTIES I CONTACTED !!! £39.95 DELIVERY CHARGE DELIVERED BY FEDEX NOT ALLOWED TO SIGN FOR AS DAMAGED AS INSTRUCTED DELIVERY DRIVER JUST WALKED AWAY!!!! SO DONT KNOW IF ITS DAMAGED OR NOT LOOKS OK !!!!!

Good Afternoon Brian, We're sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the delivery service. We think there has been some confusion around the expected arrival date, however. The order was placed late in the evening of the 26th and was picked up first thing on the 27th. Your items arrived yesterday, 5 working days from placing your order. Also, looking at the tracking details provided, it would appear your items were delivered and signed for by a neighbour yesterday. As the driver could not reach anyone at your property. Something doesn't seem quite right with the details provided by FedEx and the comments here. A member of the customer service team will be in touch to clarify things further. Slow delivery, still not received full order after two weeks. little communication had to keep calling for update. Courier lost or damaged part of the order and didn’t arrive anywhere near the allotted time slot. Like hours later. So two days waiting in. Not the best service received and would like to order other items, but not sure to risk it or not.

Looking across the notes, we can see the majority of your items were ready for dispatch shortly after placing the order. Tracking links were provided to monitor the items in transit but as you mentioned an issue took place while the items were out for delivery which caused further delay. The delivery by 18:00 on the specific date was extreme. Had to cancel an appointment, the order was delivered by about 12:00, unable to check contents as the guy had to leave. Took some time to check contents however all seemed ok. But when I came to use the adhesive there were no nozzles supplied. I’ve had to procure them myself as the 24 hour window had passed. So £40 for delivery was extreme.

Hi David, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We're a little surprised to see a negative comment with regards to the tracked next day delivery service arriving the very next morning after ordering. Most of our valued customers see this as a positive! With regards to checking for any apparent damage/discrepancies, you don't need to check whilst the driver is present. So long as you check them for any issues and report them to us within a reasonable time frame, that's just fine. Any issues noted will be resolved immediately free of charge, no worries at all. Was told it was coming on the Tuesday. Waited all day no one came. Emailed rubber duck, no response. The 24hr check goods is to small of time frame when you are waiting for trades person. One of my packages had a panel slotted in between others damaged and the time had lapsed. Only good thing was the price

Good Morning Samantha, We're very sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the service. We can see that your order was placed with us over the weekend. This was picked up by our team, and dispatched using FedEx on a next day service first thing Monday morning with tracking links provided too. FedEx look to reach out by text to let customers know when they expect to arrive but at times drivers can run out of hours or something unexpected may happen, which could cause the delivery to slip over to the next day. All online bathroom retailers advise customers to plan ahead of time where possible and to check for any apparent damage before arranging any fitters to avoid any unnecessary delay. On the rare occasion that damage is noted, we'll always look to replace any item free of charge as soon as possible. Again we're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service Samantha. The product was exactly what I wanted, unfortunately the packaging was not up to standard so the metal trim arrived bent. I emailed Rubberduck Bathrooms about this but it seems their customer services aren't that great either as I haven't had a reply in over 2 weeks.

Not great in terms of delivery or answering queries. Emailed 10 days ago to check delivery date. Said you'd let me know so I could ensure hubby home. No response. Wouldn't order from you again. Good price

Hi Bella, We're sorry to hear you've not been happy with the service here. We can see from the order updates that a delivery ETA for the 28th was provided shortly after ordering. We can also see that a request was made to expedite the delivery after receiving that dispatch notification. Unfortunately, your request could not be met in this instance. As the panels purchased were currently in production. This should have been relayed at the time and if this was missed we can only apologise. We do try our best to respond to all requests but sometimes the odd one may slip through the net. Elements board and kit is a great product. Sadly the carriers used have no respect for the goods and all three separate deliveries had damage to differing levels. All had some damage to the panel corners with the last delivery having both ends of the box open plus part of one side. All packs of fixings were split open (most stayed within the cardboard box) and one tub of sealant had leaked. Sending goods the same day ordered is a great service, but when the carriers then mistreat them for a few days before being bothered to carry out the delivery it is extremely disappointing. The product and service from Rubberduck Bathrooms deserves a score of 5 but when taking the delivery into account this drops to 2.

Good Morning Tim, We're very sorry to hear about the issues faced here. Looking across the order and notes, we can see that the goods were delivered directly by the manufacturer using their chosen courier. We have seen a few issues creep up with the couriers used of late and can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. We'll be raising the issue with the manufacturers to make sure they're aware. While we can't directly change how manufacturers deliver the items on our behalf, we can look at discounting any future order as a gesture of goodwill on our part. I ordered a shower fixed panel and a deflector screen which I was advised that both products were in stock at the time of ordering. Unfortunately only the shower panel was delivered; after a significant amount of querying, I was advised by the order clerk that the deflector panel was out of stock. I emailed the RobberDuck contact email address on the order document but have received no response after over 6 working days. I am disappointed with the service.

We can see from the order details that all items were detailed as available for dispatch from the manufacturer at the time of ordering. All other items arrived as expected, less for the deflector panel. When pushing for an ETA on the outstanding deflector panel, we were made aware of the stock discrepancy. We had seen an increase in the amount of inbound enquires at the time of your order and it looks like your email was missed by the team. Which again we can only apologise for. Had toilet delivered due to property being redeveloped did not get time to check delivery when plumber came round to open it the cistern was all cracked with no packaging around it would not exchange it.

The item was also delivered pre-packaged direct from the manufacturer. The reason we ask customers to report damage within a reasonable time frame is down to the window of time we have to file a claim with the couriers or suppliers used. Any claims made outside of the windows advised will be subject to the company we file the claim with, and in this instance, your claim was unfortunately rejected due to the timescale of delivery. Nice to do business with but not sure how their own delivery offerings work. On the order confirmation, they state the carrier will be in touch within 2 to 7 working days and it confirmed our agreed delivery date. Not the case. They shipped to me twice and on both occasions, the confirmed delivery date was actually the date the local pallet delivery company rang me to agree a suitable delivery date. When I complained to the carrier they said this happens all the time. The supplier is not completing their paperwork properly. Thankfully both times this happened I managed to get the carrier to find a lorry and deliver to me that day. All extremely frustrating. First shipment was damaged.

Each member of our team is well versed on the couriers we use to deliver your items. On collection, we pay for a 48 hour pallet delivery service for larger orders form our warehouse. Taking a look across both of your orders, the requested delivery dates were put forward by our team. This is clearly reflected in the tracking links provided at the time. See attached image. Quick delivery, Abacus boards ware of good quality. However I didn’t receive the fastening screws and washers or gloves. I did send an email/query but nobody bothered to answer Luckily I needed more tile backer boards so I had to order the same set again. Screws were included in this order so I could use those. No gloves included in this second set either.. So pretty dissatisfied on the whole.

Although the staff have been polite on the phone there have been a couple of letdowns. 1. I was told that the anti-slip shower I wanted was in stock. I put the order online only to receive an email the next day to say that it was out of stock with the manufacturer. Had I been told this the day before another company could have provided this as they still had a couple available. 2. The tray was delivered without a second waste which I had paid for and ordered. I rang up and was told it was missed and would be sent the next day. I added the shower base seal to the order, however for a second time the second waste was not delivered. it has been delivered to my mum's house so I couldn't check and it never crossed my mind this could be missed twice from 2 deliveries. The tray is getting fitted this weekend and I spent the best part of yesterday driving around to find a suitable 50MM waste. Most plumbing places are shut on a Saturday so I was limited to where I could purchase it from. I would rate Ergonomic bathrooms over Rubberduck for the price, quality of service and website being up to date with delayed stock information.

The items were to be delivered direct by the manufacturer and the stock discrepancy was only made apparent to us after we had placed the order with them. I needed the item urgently and paid for a 24hr delivery service, which cost as much as the item. Rubberduck posted it in the mail, which over the Xmas period was always going to be delayed. They couldn't track it. It took 6 days.

Hi Paul, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with your order. We send all small items from our warehouse out on a next day service and we have multiple daily collections to help minimise delivery windows. Unfortunately during the holiday period, deliveries from these services can take a little longer than normal. We can see your order was placed after cut off for collection on that particular day. However, it was collected and dispatched VIA Royal Mail the very next morning at 8am with email confirmation going out at the time. As the flexi hose connector is of very low value, the delivery cost to us is higher than the item itself and, unfortunately, we have to pass that on to the customer. panels were a let down first delivery all 7 panels broken i explained they were not pack right the tongue and groove edges need protection I spoke to Ashley who was wonderful sent me another set out and I asked my partner to check within the 24 hours he only checked one box which had 2 panels in we have opened the other boxes to fit today and the other 6 panels are all broken on the corners of the tongue and groove I am so disappointed because I explained the packing need to be protected. £500 and £36 for postage to have 2 panels that are as they should be

Hi Lisa, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with damage on delivery. We pack these items using heavy cardboard edge protection and plastic wrap to ensure the protection remains in place during transit. Typically we rarely see damages reported on the products we send out. We are aware however that, during times of increased demand on courier networks, damages do occur a little more often. We do listen and learn from customer feedback and we are looking into ways to negate the increase in courier damages during the busier periods. The shower wall boards were delivered fine. We were given one toungue and groove board as they did not have enough stock of straight board. We were not told these were smaller that 1200. So now we have to cut off the actual 1200 board to match and the shower wall does not reach the end of the shower basin which is 1200. Disappointed! No one told us this and it is stated as 1200 on website!

Good Morning Johanna, We're very sorry to hear about the problems faced during installation. The T&G boards from Showerwall are 1200mm in width. The decorative face covers up to 1180mm with the T&G element making up the rest. This detail is present in the product description across all Showerwall panels on our website. We also highlight the fact in the datasheet and installation guide, which again can be found in the product description. When presented with a challenge, our team will always try to find solutions for our customers if at all possible. As we feel it helps improve the service we can offer. Items on my order were not delivered I called and was told they would be delivered next working day which as it was Friday would be Monday so I could not complete the job as intended I then cancelled the items and went and picked up an alternative from a local supplier I am still awaiting my refund almost 3 weeks later after a few reminders

Hi Jenny, Thanks for taking the time to review your order with us. We are somewhat surprised to see the two star rating given the items were dispatched shortly after ordering on a next day service. We provided a tracking link at the time, so you could monitor your items in transit and ensure someone present for delivery. On checking with Parcel Force, it would appear they had attempted delivery on two separate occasions after messaging the telephone number provided to say they would be out on that day. Both of these deliveries failed as nobody was present to receive the items. Rather than leave an expensive order unsigned for and in an unsecure location, they brought the items back to the local depot for collection instead.
