Left porch open but Parcel Force wouldn’t leave. I now have to visit the PO. Parcel was worth £100 and very full!

Hi Jenny, Thanks for taking the time to review your order with us. We are somewhat surprised to see the two star rating given the items were dispatched shortly after ordering on a next day service. We provided a tracking link at the time, so you could monitor your items in transit and ensure someone present for delivery. On checking with Parcel Force, it would appear they had attempted delivery on two separate occasions after messaging the telephone number provided to say they would be out on that day. Both of these deliveries failed as nobody was present to receive the items. Rather than leave an expensive order unsigned for and in an unsecure location, they brought the items back to the local depot for collection instead. We appreciate it can be frustrating when online orders don't go to plan but there's little else we could have done here we're afraid. Kind regards, Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

Poor communication and checking of orders before they go out. We are now left with a unit we can’t use because we have no sink top and a toilet without a seat. Have had to pay for a replacement unit from elsewhere plus express delivery and now have to wait for a collection and refund.

Good Afternoon Shelia, We're very sorry to hear you've not been happy with your recent order. On taking a look we can see there was an unexpected delay on your delivery, which we can only apologise for. We were only made aware of the stock issue with Aquadart several days after the order was placed. After which, we were given updates by said manufacturer, which suggested the item would be back in stock but each date passed without the item arriving. As a valued customer of ours and not Aquadart, we appreciate this is far from ideal. To help manage expectation for our customers a little better, we've changed the availability across these items until we can get a clear indication of delivery ETA's from the manufacturer. Products are as expected. Real pleased with them. Service not the best. Was told numerous times they would get back to me and never heard anything. So I had to nag which I don’t like doing. Was delayed by nearly a month when having deadlines to work to. Felt like I was being kept sweet so I didn’t complain. Considering it was a very large order you think they would appreciate our service a lot and do everything they could to chase the suppliers.

Hi Sam, We're sorry to hear you feel the service wasn't what you expected. We completely understand your frustration here and the delay on receipt was simply due to the considerable size of the order placed and unavoidable issues with the global supply chain. As you're aware, we did chase for updates on numerous occasions. The reason for the delays in gathering any info, was simply down to the fact that manufacturer had to communicate with overseas agencies and the ports bringing the containers in to the country. I ordered 2 big panels of wet-wall splash-back ,one box arrived in excellent condition but upon opening the 2nd package already looking wonky from the delivery driver dropping it off ,we followed instructions and laid it flat for 24-48hrs to climates ..The bowing on the 2nd panel was soo bad and was soo brittle as we tried fixing it ,it cracked not hell in chance that would straighten even after putting something heavy on top to flatten it on the remaining piece.Also i ordered grey corner profile instead i got some white ones at £19 cost of each …issue is builders dont stick around waiting for things to be sorted ,so i am out of pocket by £97 for panels and profile combined as i could not fully use them

This review several weeks after the order was placed is the first we've heard of the matter. Had we been informed at the time, we could have sent out free of charge replacements immediately. 60% of goods delivered Neptune panels were damaged,very helpful after I made the call yo make them aware they re ordered and arrived next day,unfortunately 25% of panels again damaged and a few panels salvageable once cut down for shorter ceiling areas ,again photos taken and sent via email awaiting response from second time around.

After ordering a bath with the delivery time estimated on the web page I received a call two days later to tell me they were unable to deliver in the time scale stated and it would be sometime later. My observation to them about the delivery times advertised were unrealistic and should be altered obviously fell on deaf ears!! Disappointing experience with this company ! Check with the company before parting with your hard earn’t money to avoid disappointment!

Hi Gary, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback here. We're sorry to hear about the stock discrepancy on your item. Typically, we send these products direct through our supplier to help speed up delivery times and minimise handling damage. Unfortunately, they were in the process of restocking this model when you placed your order. Our team did manage to source the product from another supplier before we reached out to yourself with that detail. As the alternative supplier only covers B2B deliveries, we needed to bring the item in to us, before sending it out from our warehouse using another courier service at our cost. Real shame as the Abucus items I ordered had real problems being delivered. After 2 wasted weekends that I had set aside to do the work some of the order still hadn't arrived. Every time I chased order I was told it I would have it that day, but it never arrived. I will think carefully about using them again if im honest

Hi Adrian, We're very sorry to hear about the delays on receiving your items. We can see from the order that the initial delay was caused due to a UK wide shortage of construction boards that make up the kit purchased. Subsequent delays occurred as a result of the courier splitting your consignment and delivering over 2 separate days. Again we can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. Materials turned yellow in sun light within 24hrs and wasn't willing to send replacements everything else was a good experience but I won't be using rubberduck bathrooms again as after sales care is not helpful

Good Morning Marc, We're sorry you feel the after sales care wasn't what you expected here. We do detail across the website and in the product info provided with your items, that these products are suitable for indoor use only, and should not be left in direct sunlight as UV discolouration may occur. This is the case for most plastics of this nature, and is common knowledge within the trade. Products ok but delivery was rubbish, I was given a day via email before 18.00 I took the day off work and it never arrived, the email was updated to before the end of day and still it never arrived, didn't get any further update until four days later at 06.30 I was told via email its coming that day luckily I was already off work that day it arrived at 09.30. So all in all good products poor delivery service. I'm sure if anyone every answered they would use what's become the get out excuse of blame it on covid!

While your items arrived within 3 days from placing your order, it did take longer than the next day service we pay FedEx for, which we can only apologise for. Although directly not rubberduck bathrooms fault, the delivery from FEDEX was , is awful, they are onto their 3rd attempt at delivering my item after taking to the wrong address twice. I will not purchase anything else due to the poor service from your couriers

Hi Tony, We're sorry to hear about the issues with your delivery. On checking we can see that your items were ordered and dispatched within 2 days. However it would appear FedEx did struggle with the delivery address and they took a few days longer to arrive than expected. For customers living in remote or rural areas that connect to a farm or commercial property, we would always advise adding delivery notes to the order. How could you improve on what I’ve rated a poor performance: (1) if you say your going to call back in 10 minutes when I’m enquiring about an order, then do it! Don’t pass the buck, saying you thought a colleague was doing it. Take full responsibility for idle promises! (2) Monitor orders where fulfilment is delayed and proactively contact the customer. Don’t express surprise when they tell you they haven’t received an order. (3) Never say things like ‘This looks like its due to go out with Fedex on Monday’ when that’s not the case. And at least follow up on Monday to make sure that’s the case. (4) Customers are happy hearing ‘I don’t know, but I’ll find out’, rather than fiction created on the fly.

Hi Paul, Apologies for the delay on your order and in response to your information request. Unfortunately given the current climate, updates from the suppliers we connect to have been coming in a little later than we would normally expect. This should be reflected during the call, which we can only apologise for. The update that was passed over was, while the items were showing as in-stock with the supplier, one part that made up the kit was actually out of stock. Which caused an unexpected delay in dispatch. I can assure you while our team is very creative in helping customers, they're not ones to create fiction on the fly as you suggested. Again apologies for any inconvenience caused. On the price, we do try to be as competitive as we can all while offering the service you've complimented us on. We even go as far to offering a price match service on like for like products, if we have the room to do so. On taking a look it would appear the items supplied were correct however the manufacturer has responded to say that there has been a slight change in the design, which may be the reason for the confusion. This is the first we'd heard about the change, which we can only apologise for. We've since updated the product info to reflect the changes to the fittings and we've arranged for a collection for the item received too. We can see however, that the delivery was delayed as the courier could not reach yourself to book in the delivery, on 2 separate occasions. As you mentioned in your email to us, our team was very helpful and the issue surrounding the delivery was dealt with very respectfully. As a discount reseller, we do heavily rely on the courier networks used by the manufacturers we connect to. While rare, there are instances where damage can occur during transit. As we heavily discount the items already, it leaves very little margin to offer compensation on issues that arise outside our control. This is why we advise all customers to order in advance of booking fitters to avoid issues such as this. We did however offer to discount any future order placed as a goodwill gesture. My builder asked me to acquire a new bathroom suite. Not knowing what was needed, I went online and found Rubberduck. They had a bath, sink, taps and basin we wanted. I sent my list to them for their scrutiny. They replied immediately with some additions/recommendations one of which was to a call them for a best price. I called them to put in my order but the person I was talking to rejected one of the things I was just recommend to buy. I think he was losing interest and said send him a list. I decided to just get on with it myself and do it online. I ordered the taps and bath but couldn't order the toilet and sink were out of stock. Put in my part order and contacted customer service re the out of stock items. The said they would get back to me. They didn't. I contacted Customer service again. I was told they were in stock so I attempted to order but they were out of stock. Contacted Customer service and they said they would get back to me. They didn't. I went elsewhere.

Placed an order on a Thursday, but no follow up as for when order will be delivered or if any out of stock, found out this myself on the coming Monday, that one of the items were not in stock, didn’t sound like they were going to tell me that if I didn’t phone up myself! But what was worse, the items that were available were never delivered they said I’d get them on Tue. Called on Tuesday and just to find out they were not delivered again ‘because of distributer error’!!! I was eventually got the order promised on Thursday, call it 3rd time lucky! Not really good delivery system at all! Still waiting for refund for the item that was not available, not sure when that’s going to happen!
