Ordered a toilet seat off the website which stated in the specification it was wood. Arrived packaged securely so left for my fitter to fit. Arrived to find that once fitted it was plastic. Company states that this was my fault as even though the product was wrapped securely I should have checked before fitting but I didn’t think I had a need. Lesson learnt as even though the specification was wrong it’s my fault for not checking and now it’s fitted they have stayed I’m stuck with it.

Good Afternoon Jason, We're sorry to hear about the issue with your toilet seat. The seat purchased is described as being plastic within the product info. As you mentioned, there was a discrepancy within the specs outlined below that product description. We can only apologise for the oversight, which has since been rectified. Within the same product description, we do go on to say that all toilet seats need to be checked on arrival. As we cannot process returns on seats once any hygienic seal has been removed or the seat fitted. This is echoed further in all emails sent post-sale too. As these items are bound by hygienic restrictions, it was unfortunate that we could not accept your return request in this instance. We do appreciate there was an oversight in part of the product info which again we can only apologise for. As a gesture of goodwill, we'd be more than happy to apply further discounts on any future order placed to make up for the oversight. We're sorry again for any inconvenience caused. Whilst the customer service is good and they tried to correct my issues I am still left with a shower panel product very different to the one advertised on the website. I ordered all the components and it all turned up with good communication regarding the delivery date. The products I received were very different to the website and much more generic. This meant that the instructions on the product page were useless and I had to go hunting for them. I was also missing endcaps for the profiles. After several calls and follow-ups, I was told that these were no longer available for the replacement product that I had been sent and the manufacturer suggested just filling the end with silicone. Not the look I wanted. I guess I should have returned everything but I only had a short window in which to install so I had to go ahead and make do. They have part refunded the profiles but I think the website needs to be updated to ensure the product descriptions are accurate with the stock they can supply. The customer service was very good all the way through, contrary to some of the reviews and so I suggest that you make sure the product delivered exactly meets your order as soon as it arrives and return it if not.

Hi my last order I had 7 broken planks out of 20 , deliver and service is good , but this is the 3 rd order that has arrived damaged

Good morning Alan, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with damage on delivery. We currently pack these items using heavy cardboard edge protection and plastic wrap to ensure the protection remains in place during transit. We are aware however that, during times of increased demand on courier networks, damages do occur a little more often. We do listen and learn from customer feedback and we will be trialling the use of an alternative protection system in the coming weeks/months. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. Although the purchasing and delivery service were good the products arrived in beaten-up boxes with some of the parts partially damaged. Rubberduck has slightly higher prices than other outlets so I would have hoped they took better care of the products they ship.

Looking at your order, we cannot see any communication to say there was an issue with your delivery until reading your review. Had we been notified, we could have dispatched replacements immediately. We do our best to make sure orders are delivered without issue and we'd never send out damaged items. We are aware that couriers at times can be a little overzealous during the busier periods, however. In terms of price, we can assure you that we are one of if not the cheapest online for this particular product when delivery costs are included. We can also see a further discount of 5% was used on your order too, making us even cheaper! Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. Good Morning Leah, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. We do feel there has been a miscommunication somewhere along the line, however. We can see your order confirmation email was sent at the time of purchase. Also, a dispatch confirmation email, with DPD tracking links provided, was sent over on the morning of the 23rd at 11:39 am. These were sent to the gmail address added to your order. The emails can at times filter into your spam folder. Good Morning Laura, We're very sorry to hear about the damage received during delivery. We do feel there's been some confusion here. We can see from the email chains that our team has responded to each information request, usually within a matter of hours, and your refund was processed in full within 3 working days from receiving the collected goods. As with any online retailer, there is a process for all returns and refunds. While most refunds are processed on the same day, items collected and returned to us need to go through the inspection team. This was the first of two orders with Ribber Duck, it was delivered fine, my second order has been a real mess with me having to chase repeatedly to get information and am still awaiting completion of delivery

Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your order. We think there must have been some confusion here. We can see that this order was placed over the weekend on the 21st. Both the Towel Rail and Valves were dispatched as early as possible on Monday 23rd. Looking at the tracking links provided on the day of dispatch, the items were signed for in full the very next day seemingly without issue. We are surprised to see the rating given that we detail across the site that we operate a kerbside delivery service. This is echoed further in any email sent post-purchase, to make sure someone is present at the point of delivery. We can see the delivery address in your case was to a second-story flat. If we did door-to-door drops in these instances, it would significantly extend delivery windows and costs for all customers. The review invites are sent to customers once dispatch has been confirmed. At times, (such as over a Bank Holiday weekend), goods will not have arrived at the point you receive the invitation to review. Good Morning Robin, We're sorry to hear your Shower Basket was delivered to a neighbour. We can see from the dispatch info that your items left us on a tracked next day service with Parcel Force. It would appear that text messages were sent to notify of a delivery window but the driver could not reach anyone at the property on the first attempt. Another text message was sent to confirm a failed delivery. The second delivery was attempted the day after and it was at this point the items were left with a neighbour. Unfortunately my experience with Rubberduck bathrooms has been less than desirable. When I opened the product, the first thing I saw was someone’s return slip (clearly it had not been opened since returned), then I discovered the bath panel was actually damaged. Reported to customer service as requested. No response from CS for at least a couple of days. Informed they would send a replacement to arrive on Tuesday as they’d missed the courier for next day. Tuesday arrived and no delivery. Phoned to find out where it was - turns out the replacement order had not been processed properly so order had not been sent. I asked for a discount on the damaged panel rather than wait for the replacement as my fitters wanted to fit, to which they obliged. This was my first and last time using Rubberduck bathrooms. The service was disappointing to say the least. Thank goodness I put my large bathroom order through another company.

Good Morning Sabrina, We're very sorry to hear about the mix up here. We can see from the order details that the original item sent looked to be a return that was incorrectly restocked. Typically, the returns labels are applied on the outer packaging, which makes any return easy to identify and check before restocking. Unfortunately, it looks like this one has slipped through unnoticed which we can only apologise for. The replacement was due to go out Monday, to arrive on a next day service, but as you mentioned there was an issue with processing which again we can only apologise for. After ordering shower wall panels I got an email saying "Your order has been dispatched" in LARGE print, then the first line of the email in small print saying "Your Rubberduck Bathrooms order has been dispatched" so one may assume that the order had been dispatched although this was not the case. Some line down there was a sentence saying that the order would not arrive for almost 3 weeks. So in my view, this was a lie just so the company could get the order off their waiting list. Not very happy about this. I would say that now the panels have been installed they do look good.

Good Afternoon Mr Farrow, We're sorry to hear about the confusion on your delivery dates. Most of the larger wall panels displayed are distributed directly by the manufacturer that produces them. We receive the dispatch confirmation and an ETA from them as soon as the routes are planned and/or panels are moved to suit the delivery location. As soon as this comes through, we send the notification over to customers with the delivery ETA displayed in the first line of the email. This ensures customers can make arrangements as early as possible and make sure they can be present at the point of delivery. All of which helps to avoid any delays. To be honest paying £39 for standard delievery it a bit shocking especially when you place a order expecting it to be dealt with with in a decent space of time..so a tuesday..only to ring and be told.they dont dispatch on a friday (this after i placed the order prior tuesday..) not the best service and customer service is not the best

As it was a Bank Holiday weekend, your order was prepared for dispatch to be sent on a next day service first thing on Tuesday morning of the 3rd. When the office re-opened. When calling for an update, it was explained that the reason we don't look to dispatch with FedEx over a long weekend, was simply due to an increase in damages in transit when we do. This is a decision made based on customer feedback over the years to help minimise the risk of any delays or costs. We can see tracking links were also provided at the time, so you could monitor the items in transit too. Again, we're sorry you feel this is not a good service. 2/5 Days delivery - NO - 7 DAYS - HENCE MY BATHROOM WAS NOT COMPLETED ON TIME!!! EXCUSES FROM ALL PARTIES I CONTACTED !!! £39.95 DELIVERY CHARGE DELIVERED BY FEDEX NOT ALLOWED TO SIGN FOR AS DAMAGED AS INSTRUCTED DELIVERY DRIVER JUST WALKED AWAY!!!! SO DONT KNOW IF ITS DAMAGED OR NOT LOOKS OK !!!!!

Good Afternoon Brian, We're sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the delivery service. We think there has been some confusion around the expected arrival date, however. The order was placed late in the evening of the 26th and was picked up first thing on the 27th. Your items arrived yesterday, 5 working days from placing your order. Also, looking at the tracking details provided, it would appear your items were delivered and signed for by a neighbour yesterday. As the driver could not reach anyone at your property. Something doesn't seem quite right with the details provided by FedEx and the comments here. A member of the customer service team will be in touch to clarify things further. Slow delivery, still not received full order after two weeks. little communication had to keep calling for update. Courier lost or damaged part of the order and didn’t arrive anywhere near the allotted time slot. Like hours later. So two days waiting in. Not the best service received and would like to order other items, but not sure to risk it or not.

The delivery by 18:00 on the specific date was extreme. Had to cancel an appointment, the order was delivered by about 12:00, unable to check contents as the guy had to leave. Took some time to check contents however all seemed ok. But when I came to use the adhesive there were no nozzles supplied. I’ve had to procure them myself as the 24 hour window had passed. So £40 for delivery was extreme.

We're a little surprised to see a negative comment with regards to the tracked next day delivery service arriving the very next morning after ordering. Most of our valued customers see this as a positive! With regards to checking for any apparent damage/discrepancies, you don't need to check whilst the driver is present. So long as you check them for any issues and report them to us within a reasonable time frame, that's just fine. Any issues noted will be resolved immediately free of charge, no worries at all. Was told it was coming on the Tuesday. Waited all day no one came. Emailed rubber duck, no response. The 24hr check goods is to small of time frame when you are waiting for trades person. One of my packages had a panel slotted in between others damaged and the time had lapsed. Only good thing was the price

This was picked up by our team, and dispatched using FedEx on a next day service first thing Monday morning with tracking links provided too. FedEx look to reach out by text to let customers know when they expect to arrive but at times drivers can run out of hours or something unexpected may happen, which could cause the delivery to slip over to the next day. All online bathroom retailers advise customers to plan ahead of time where possible and to check for any apparent damage before arranging any fitters to avoid any unnecessary delay. On the rare occasion that damage is noted, we'll always look to replace any item free of charge as soon as possible. Again we're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service Samantha. The product was exactly what I wanted, unfortunately the packaging was not up to standard so the metal trim arrived bent. I emailed Rubberduck Bathrooms about this but it seems their customer services aren't that great either as I haven't had a reply in over 2 weeks.
