“I ordered some silicone, within the timeframe for a next day delivery. It didn’t arrive until 5.30pm 2 days later, which was very disappointing as I’d chosen rubberduck bathrooms to buy it from based on their promise of delivery timescales.”

Good Morning Debbie, We're sorry to hear about the slight delay on receiving your tube of silicone. We can see your order was placed 10 minutes before the cut off for that day. The delivery windows we display across the website are best estimates. During the peak periods such as the current Black Friday sales, deliveries may slip over a day. “Looking for bathroom ceiling panels, I did extensive research and Rubberduck had the best price, along with the trim I was needing. Unfortunately, by the time I was ready to order, the panels were out of stock. I received a quick response to my enquiry regarding expected availability. It took a little longer than predicted for the item to come into stock, but when it did, ordering was simple and was dispatched the same day. Delivery cost seemed pricy, but when the package arrived it was very well protected and therefore, the product was in pristine condition. Altogether, very pleased with the shopping experience - just need to get on and install it!”

Hi Faye, We're sorry to hear about the issues with damage on delivery. We do our best to make sure orders are delivered ASAP without issue but we're aware that couriers at times can be a little overzealous during the busier periods, however. We listen and learn from customer feedback and we are looking into ways to negate the increase in courier damages during the busier periods. We hope that customers can see that we act as fast and efficiently as we can in the rare instances things don't go to plan. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. “We was left without a kitchen for 3 weeks due to the tap taking this long to be delivered. I took two seperate days off work as this item needed to be signed for upon delivery and despite being promised delivery it never arrived, until the third promised date. Rubberduck is the “middle man” and communication from them was good until i asked for compensation from either them or the supplier, I received no further reply. 2 stars for the initial communication.”

Hi Kanijah, We're very sorry to hear about the delay in receiving your tap. The tap purchased is a stocked item and we typically send these out using a FedEx next day service. At the time you placed your order, we were waiting on stock to come in from the manufacturer and your tap was sent direct from them in an attempt to avoid any delay. Clearly this didn't go to plan, which we can only apologise for. With regards to your request for 'compensation' we every other online retailer in our sector wouldn't look to offer compensation for delays that occur outside of our control.
