“The toilet seat is good quality but it doesn’t fit. I thought I had measured accurately but I must have made a mistake. The returns process is complicated and could be costly so I regret buying from this company.”

Hi Diane, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback, it means a lot to us! The returns policy we employ is the standard returns policy used for online retailers in the UK. With toilet seats there is a hygiene concern that we need to consider as per UK law however. All that means is, we need to make sure the item has not been fitted and the protective seal has not been removed from the seat. A couple of pictures to confirm is all we require. This allows us to resell the item with confidence it has not been fitted or used prior, which I'm sure you would understand. “Awful communication from courier (DHL). Took time off work to be at home to wait for delivery on 3 different working days. No delivery on first 2 days, and no update provided. 3rd day only a partial delivery. Now having to delay instalation as expected delivery date missed, and no definitive delivery date given. On this basis would not recommend rubber duck as courier service is unreliable and has caused delays to the project.”

Hi Sally, Thanks for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear your items are still in transit. Your items were dispatched promptly, and the ETA provided at the time of ordering did state delivery could be up to the 8th. Unfortunately, DHL’s communication and handling of your consignments fell short, which caused the disruption you’ve described. We can see the outstanding item is due to arrive tomorrow, which is a day later than we expected. We use DHL as they usually provide the best balance of reliability and cost, but it’s clear that in this case the service was not up to standard. “I placed an order and the delivery date given was the 2nd September, I received several emails from DHL between the 2nd and 5th September advising of delivery dates, however, I still have not received the item, for which I paid £20 for delivery, which is very excessive, especially when it still has not arrived.”

“The goods I ordered and ultimately received were of good quality and as described on the website. The expected delivery was from 2 to 6 days when I ordered. THe goods came in three separate deliveries from three separate couriers companies. DHL, XDP and STOP_START. DHL messaged me to say they had the goods and then later on to confirm the delivery slot. The delivery was about 1 hour late XDP messaged me to say they had the goods, offered me the opportunity to cahnge the date which I did but then failed to show up or to message me on that date. They then arrived the following day. Obvioulsy there are sometimes delays but it was frustrating that they did not keep me informed. Stop-Start never informed me that they had the goods, or when they would deliver. I had to phone Rubberduck to get updates. The delivery took 6 days from Rubberduck telling me the goods had been dispatched. I finally got a text at 2100 on the day before the dlivery telling me the delivery slot. On the day they delivered on time. All the delivery drivers were friendly, courteous and helped me to get the goods up the 3 fllors to the appartment. I made my order on the 18th August. The last of the 3 deliveries was on the 5th September, 19 days later. The estimated delivery date in the order acknowledgement was between 22nd and 26th August. In summary Great Materials, Good phone response, Very poor delivery timing and communications. Good delivery drivers when they cam”

“Element board 2400 x 90 only available in 5 pack Difficult to find the drop down menu to buy adhesive kit separately-Head office did not know about this option. Delivery sent in 2 parts - 8 days later I’m still waiting for the element board to arrive. Very disappointed”

Good Afternoon David, We're sorry to hear you feel the service could be improved. The kit purchased is pre-made by the manufacturer and contains all the parts necessary to fit the kit. They do not sell the installation kit independent from the boards. You can however purchase most individual components of the kit, if you require extra. In terms of delivery, the ETA provided pre-sale was up to the 4th of September. In the tracking link provided, you can see your outstanding items are in transit to you today, with an ETA between 4-6pm. A full day before the ETA provided.
