We run a small plumbing business and depend on timely and reliable delivery of materials ordered online. Unfortunately, we experienced long delays in getting our order processed and a delivery driver who didn't try very hard to deliver the materials and had a very offhand attitude. In the end, we had to collect the materials ourselves from a depot 30 miles away just to get the job done. The customer services staff are helpful at Rubberduck and we did get our initial delivery charge refunded. However, despite a phone offer of a gesture of goodwill refund for the extra inconvenience caused, customer services have now gone very quiet. A shame - we will not use this company again.

Good Afternoon Jason, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with your delivery. Looking at the details, we can see a lorry was sent on two separate occasions but could not reach the property due to access issues. A call was made at the time but could not reach anyone. As soon as we were made aware of any delay, our team was on hand to help. The manufacturer stated they could not send out a 3rd delivery as the route was not suitable for the vehicle size. We relayed this and arranged for a collection instead, with a refund offered for the delivery paid. A further request for 'compensation' was made. The manufacturer could not offer anything further due to the reasons highlighted prior. The above was detailed in an email sent to you on the 19th of May at 3:15 pm. Dreadful. The package arrived wrapped in a bin liner (no protection) and they sent the wrong valve. I will not be using this service again. Ever

Good Afternoon Louise, Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised to see your comments, however. These valves come pre-boxed by the manufacturer and, as you can see from the image provided, this box has been protected further using bubble wrap and secured in place using a plastic wrap. Certainly not bin liner. We can see the valve was purchased on April 27th, dispatched on the 29th using a tracked service and delivered shortly after seemingly without issue. We received an email on the 18th of May, to say the wrong valves had been sent and you needed angled valves. We highlighted that straight valves had been selected in the checkout at the time of ordering and mentioned you could exchange them, so long as they were returned. If I could score Rubberduck Bathrooms a zero I would. In short, this company delivered my goods to the wrong address, even though I had given them the correct one in the first place, only delivered half the order and what was delivered was damaged. I asked for a refund on more than one occasion, but they failed to refund me because they considered the story to be “Strange”. From then on, they ignored my emails completely. However, the excuse of “Strange” does not absolve Rubberduck of their responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and I reminded them of this, but they still did not refund me and continued to ignore my emails. Mastercard agreed with me and immediately issued a chargeback. You must conclude that Rubberduck does not care about its customers, have no customer service, apply a completely contemptuous attitude, and are totally blasé in the way they discharge their legal responsibilities to their customers. For these reasons alone I would recommend you avoid this company at all costs and shop with someone reputable.

Looking across the order details, we can see your goods were dispatched on a tracked service but there was a mix up with the paperwork which meant they were dropped with a neighbour. As a customer of ours, we can only apologise for this error. The issue reported is related to missing/damaged items, from what is a sealed product. The customer service team needed to request further information in the way of photos, so we can file a claim with the courier for the missing/damaged items and issue your refund asap. My 1st order didn't go well. I had ordered in good time 3 packs of pvc ceiling cladding, 2 of the 3 packs were badly damaged, 1 piece of the 3rd pack slightly damaged. Sent in pics as requested and was assured replacements the following day, this came and went, I had to ring back to chase my delivery only to be told my email had gone in their junk folder and so my order hadn't even been done, this was my on my completion day, so had to delay the job whilst I spent time looking for replacements elsewhere and half a day travelling to get them as delivery at now very short notice not viable. Got a refund well not recieved as yet, but lost a days earnings and also have to take damaged panels to tip myself. Not happy

The service was terrible !! I ordered and paid for the item on 11th March. Nothing arrived and I heard nothing from Rubberduck about where the item was. I rang 4 times in the following months. Each time I was told someone would look into it and call me back. No one called me. In the end, I had to give a deadline of 11th May or I wanted a refund. Lo and behold - the item appeared and was finally delivered to me.

As soon as we were made aware of any issue on the 3rd, our team reached out and arranged for a new tray to go out. There was a change of address for the replacement and this was delivered on the 6th. The communication is very poor, and customer service non-existent. The item I ordered was not sent. No communication from them to say there was any problem. Weeks later when I asked where it was they said it was out of stock. I called again & was told it was ready to send, & a week later I called to find out why I hadn’t received it & they said it isn’t ready to send. Their only solution is to refund my order, which doesn’t help as I now have builders on site waiting for this item. I asked about adapting alternative available items, and was sent a useless email with a picture, but answering none of the questions I asked on the phone. The item on arrival will need to really exceed expectations to have any hope of making me feel better about this company.

We can see from the order details that the item purchased was displayed as in stock with the supplier at the time of ordering. Typically, we see no issues with deliveries when that's the case. It was only after you had called for an update, that we were made aware of any delay. We can see the team immediately reached out to the manufacturer to see what the hold up was and we were informed the item could be dispatched that week. Unfortunately, this did not come through as expected and we offered to refund the order in the hope you could source something more local to complete the job. We fully appreciate the frustration here. As a distance seller, we rely on 3rd parties such as manufacturers and couriers to deliver items to customers within the expected timeframes displayed across our website. At times the passage of info from 3rd parties lets us down a little. Again, we're very sorry you haven't had the normal Rubberduck experience here. Good Morning Janet, We're very sorry to hear about the damaged bath panel. Looking at the notes we can see that the order was placed late afternoon and dispatched on a next day service the very next morning.An email was received shortly after to say that the item was damaged. We can see a reply was sent from our team on Saturday, to say we'd send out a replacement asap. We can see a further email was sent over in the early hours of Sunday when the office was closed. Our team is working hard to get through any new enquiries this week, the Bank holiday has delayed things a little but we're almost there. We would never knowingly send out damaged items - the item purchased comes pre-packaged and we inspect them for any apparent damage before dispatching to customers. As you mentioned, there was no sign of any damage until unpacking the item. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. I am rather surprised that Rubberduck does not seem to check its "contact" email address! I have a problem with one of the units I purchased from you and as requested I submitted the issue within 24 hours on (Saturday 30th April) Naturally, we have just had a Bank Holiday weekend but I have received no email "Read" acknowledgment or any written reply. Some response would be greatly appreciated before I start completing a "Customer Satisfaction" review.

Good Morning Darren, We're very sorry to hear you've been unhappy with your recent order. Looking across your order, we can see that your panels were dispatched on the same day of ordering and received seemingly without issue the very next morning. Partway through the installation of your panels, we received communication to say they were not suitable. We agreed to the return/refund of any outstanding panel packs. Unfortunately, we would not be able to accept the return or refund any items that had been made use of. This is standard practice for most if not all online retailers. No issues with kitchen suppliers. However all bathroom suppliers but the company that supplied the radiator have let me down with lost goods or if delivered, damaged. 30 years of warehouse work I can not believe the standard of packing and the unprofessional couriers who treat every parcel like it contains bricks and can be thrown around. My first delivery the tub of sealant had been put in a weak box with a 20 kg bag. Everything was covered in cured rubber even my carpet. Fair play with one phone call a replacement was sent out next day. Again the sealant this time packed separately and in bubble wrap still leaked and was cured within the wrapping. Several phone calls and emails. No reply. On line ordering leaves you very disappointed as you say 92% of the time.

Purchased over £200 of panels with this company on the 6th phoned then a week later apparently issue with delivery company response to them Tuesday will be here latest Thursday now Friday no items and constant issues trying to contact company! Buy elsewhere would be my advice! Rubber duck responsibility for item until delivered change your courier if problematic!

The tracking link details a delivery attempt on the 12th however that looked to have failed for whatever reason. I had to reorder my goods as what I originally wanted was not available. I then wanted to amend my order before it got sent out and emailed with plenty of notice to do this. I was then told the order had already been sent and if I wanted the other goods I had to pay delivery, even though it was completely the fault of the person at Rubber Duck bathrooms. Shocking service

Good Morning Emma, We're very sorry to hear about the issues faced here. Looking at the email chains, we can see a request was made to change the boards over to another finish and you looked for more info on the end caps contained in the order. The info was provided as requested at the time and the items were confirmed for dispatch the same day, with email confirmation going out too. It was two days after dispatch confirmation that a request was made for further trims to be sent out with your order. Unfortunately, as the items had already been dispatched, we could not add the extra trims to your order. As these items are fragile and require extra protection in transit, we did need to take further payment for the delivery. We did, however, cover part of the delivery cost as a goodwill gesture. Good Morning Mr Swift, We're sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the service. Taking a look at the order notes, we can see that the order was picked up on the afternoon of the 24th Feb and dispatched on a next day service with Royal Mail on the 25th. When you called to say the item had not arrived, our team began investigating the issue. The issue, it turns out, was that an incorrect postcode had been added when you were placing your order. Given the mismatched address, your item was placed on a return to sender notice. Our team was looking for further info from Royal Mail before dispatching your replacement to the correct address. We do rely on 3rd parties when looking for this information and at times it can take longer to come back than we'd like. Good Morning Theresa, We're sorry to hear you've not been too happy with the service. On taking a look in to things at this side we can see that, when the issue of the faulty handset was raised, that our team immediately contacted the manufacturer to request a replacement. Unfortunately, we were made aware that the handset originally purchased was part of a discontinued range and was no longer available to purhcase from the manufacturer. As you're a customer of ours we pushed further for a resolution. The manufacturer has a duty of care to replace or repair the damaged handset. A replacement handset was provided as a result but took longer than we'd hoped. This was simply down to the fact we needed a like for like replacement that would fit the unit installed. Sorry but I'm afraid your refunds process is pretty bad, it took about 3 weeks for me to receive my refund, I called 4 times, emailed 5 or 6 times with little or delayed reply. Not a great service I'm afraid on that front with slow response. The part was fine though, incorrectly ordered on my side, as long as you don't have to send it back it should be fine.

Good Morning Jonathan, We're very sorry to hear you've not been overly happy with the service. Typically refunds are issued within 24/48 hours of receipt. Taking a look at things this side, we can see there was an unexpected delay with your refund however. This was due to an error in the warehouse meaning the returns team did not pick up your goods on arrival. We appreciate this wasn't of your making and can only apologise for the error. I ordered from rubber duck as the reviews were good … I have to say I was very disappointed … I placed my order and explained I needed a call on the delivery day to enable me to pop home from my office 5 mins away …I was therefore frustrated when I arrived home to a delivery note explaining they had tried to deliver ! I called rubber duck who explained it would be re-delivered a few days later but they couldn’t guarantee the driver would call me on the day but that I could call on the morning of delivery and they would try and give me a time/contact the driver. I duly called on the morning only to be told they had tried to call the driver but to no avail and that I had no choice but to be at home for 2 hours or I would be charged £40 for another delivery slot ! As a business owner myself this was not possible so I headed home to ask my neighbour to take delivery. Luckily as I was there trying to sort something out the delivery arrived and I was left astounded when he told me of course I would have called you but I have not been asked to do so ! It was impossible to check the items over as it was very windy and wet and the driver left but we later found damage under where a sticker had been conveniently placed Poor service in this day and age and I would not order or recommend rubber duck

Good Morning Jayne, We're very sorry to hear you've not been to happy with your delivery. The items purchased were delivered direct by Multipanel themselves, using their own dedicated courier network. Which is the case for most online sales, regardless of retailer. If you check your order confirmation email, you can see that a call was requested 15 minutes prior to arrival within the notes. If that detail was not passed on to the driver at the Multipanel depot, then we can only apologise. This is exactly why we say that, while we can request it, we can't guarantee a 3rd party will call ahead of delivery. If you have noted any damage on your items, we can of course look to resolve the matter. A member of the customer service team will be in touch today to assist. Sent wrong splashpanel, not sure how, two identical ordered, 1st ok, the 2nd package is totally different, did someone not question why before loading it? Now no idea when I'll get the right one, and fitters left waiting.

Hi Manjit, We're sorry to hear about the picking error on your panels. We can see in this instance, that the manufacturer had picked/delivered the right finish panel, but in a slightly smaller size than that which was ordered, which we can only apologise for. When we were first made aware on Saturday, Jarred contacted the manufacturer and requested an immediate replacement. Unfortunately, we could not provide a confirmed date for replacement at the time, as the manufacturer was closed for the weekend. We have received that update today however, and your replcement should be with you Wednesday. Again, we're sorry to hear about the picking error on your panels.
