“I ordered the item from the website before Christmas. The delivery company claimed to have attempted delivery on a day when I was in all day. Cctv showed no deliveries at all. Currently I am STILL waiting for the item after three weeks.”

“Please when you choose a carrier to deliver your customer’s orders use a reliable one. My parcel was due to be delivered by DX on the 5th January according to the tracking information. It did not arrive and I wasted a day waiting in for it. The following day I tried to contact DX but got an automated messaging system which rescheduled my delivery for the 8th. I was unable to speak to anyone to find out why my parcel did not arrive as stated. I tried to ring Roy’s on the number given on the order email but again got an automated system. When the parcel finally arrived one side of the outside of it was covered in a brown sticky substance. To give the driver his due he pointed this out to me and suggested that I check the contents to see if they had been damaged, fortunately they had not. I was very annoyed that my parcel did not arrived as first stated and had to chase up Roy’s to find out the result of their enquiries with DX. After this experience with both Roy’s and DX I will not be ordering from them again.”

Hello Dave, I’m really sorry to hear about the delivery issues with DX and the difficulty you had contacting both DX and Roys. This isn’t the experience we want for our customers. “Unfortunately your delivery company DX Express have not yet delivered the item I ordered. It was due to arrive 3 days ago. It is a birthday present so I’m quite concerned it will be delivered too late.”

“It is a lovely piece, however the packaging was dreadful, just a thin wrapping which meant that it came damaged. I was able to bend it back into shape, but it’s still not acceptable for what you pay.”

“What i like about Roys is that it’s a local business giving a good accessible service to an area with not much retail offer. It’s the first time we used their e-commerce and it was seamless, with plenty of options to collect the present for my daughter. I actively boycott Amazon and any business that doesn’t pay taxes so I’ll make a more conscious effort to buy from Roys from now on.”
