Our delivery did not arrive on the day scheduled, despite the delivery team realising the delivery obligation was not going to be possible due to a tenuous excuse of their "vehicle catching fire?"earlier thatday we received no call to advise. The failure to deliver caused my wife inconvenience having to take annual leave to await the delivery twiceover and no compensation by room to grow was offered despite being requested - not even reimbursement for the delivery cost.

Thank you for your comments. Delivery of your order was completed by a third party carrier company who unfortunately experienced a serious issue with the vehicle/contents on the day of your delivery. We apologise you didn't receive a call about this but we hadn't been made aware - had we known, we would have called you without delay. Unfortunately, this event was outside of our control and we took steps to minimise the effect of the delay.  Apologies again for any inconvenience caused to you and your family.  Best Wishes, RTG.

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou for the service provided in purchasing the Solitaire White Bunk Beds, which you price matched with no quibble. Not only was the service second to none from yourselves but also the two delivery guys were great. There was no dump and run like others, they took their time with us to complete the delivery paperwork, explaining to document the tears in the boxes etc and to ensure we documented that we would not be putting these together until the new year. Excellent service all round. I just hope the beds live up to our expectations in the New Year.

Having bought three beds from three different suppliers, I have the following observations. Whilst I am happy with the quality of the product, compared to the other two beds I purchased, this bed was over priced with a long lead time for delivery.

Fast delivery and good solid product. Took a long time to put together (two people, about 5-6 hours total) but really pleased with the look and the sturdiness. And happy we can separate to use in separate rooms in future.

Product is fantastic - my kids love the bunks. The delivery however was the worst I've ever had. It arrived quickly, but with the rudest driver who swore at my wife, damaged the boxes and then when I turned up, told me to f**k off. Be aware that you might need someone in the house to lift the products - the driver insisted on leaving our bunks in the front garden. In defense on the company, they assured me that he was removed from duty and gave me a voucher as compensation. I would certainly use Room to Grow again. I'd just cross my fingers that the driver was a human this time.

Delivery arrived on my chosen day with a call half an hour beforehand. Quality of product is good & there was nothing missing.

Slow, disorganised delivery where the bed and mattress were delivered on separate days although they were supposed to be together and then the mattress delivery driver refused to take it to the room as advertised. Damaged bed part took 2 weeks and constant chasing of disinterested staff to get replaced. I would not purchase from this retailer again.

Thank you for your comments.  As you ordered the mattress separately to your bed, the two items were delivered a day apart. The delivery team did their best to tie up the delivery of your two items to be on our around the same time as your bed.  We are sorry that you had a damaged part and the warehouse despached this to you once it had arrived from the factory.  We do pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and quality of service and we are sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Lovely product and excellent service. I had bo idea that assembly was included in the purchase price. Disposible light not so good.

Website and initial customer service was fine, but stated product would be available w/c 24th Oct, and still not received it now on 11th Nov. No communication to inform and apologise for the delay from Room To Grow. When I have contacted them to chase up the order, the person I spoke to was pleasant, and said she would chase up with Stompa and get back to me, and I got no call to say they had done this. Tried Stompa direct who said they had passed my order to a delivery company, but could see no delivery date yet on the system, but promised to 'investigate'. Finally after another 2 days, got call from the delivery co to say delivery Mon 14th - hopefully it will come then. I am disappointed by the delay, but understand these things happen, so I am more disappointed by the lack of communication, leaving me wondering and chasing for my son's eagerly awaited birthday present.

Thank you for your comments. Stock delays are unfortunately out of our control and as detailed on our website and order confirmation, stock was estimated to be available w/c 24.10, so between 24-28.10.  Delivery was estimated to be 10-15 working days once stock was available. Stompa have their own delivery team and booked in your delivery at the first possible date within the estimated delivery timescale.  We do take on board your comments and will pass these on to Stompa.  We hope that you and your son are enjoying your new furniture.  Best Wishes, RTG.

Easy to buy online. Good delivery service ( on time and as arranged). Fab product, super easy to assemble. Slightly bad paint work finish in places which dissapointed us but overall we love the bed- sturdy & safe.

The quality of the beds is brilliant I am really impressed compared to some others that we look at even higher priced beds. The communication via email and on the phone was really good too. The only issue I had was with the delivery company but wouldn't stop me from buying from room to grow again.

The product quality is very poor; the desk was delivered late and to the wrong house (without telling me so I had to chase them) and the chest of drawers is made of such soft timber that the fixing screws won't bite and I now have to go out and buy my own fixings. On top of that it has taken at least 12 hours of work to put this together - there's flat pack and then there's self manufacture. Two people are needed for he bed and ideally Ben of them enjoys carpentry! I would not purchase this product again.
