Customer Service was one of the worse I've experienced in years. Good product though.

We're sorry for the disappointing service you feel you've had awaiting your delivery and it is a real shame that we were unable to offer you an initial agreeable delivery date.  Once your goods are with the delivery team we are not directly involved with the route planning or booking in procedure, however, we understand your frustration and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Was only sent enough screws to make one bed of a bunk bed, thereby leaving son without anywhere to sleep for a week before new screws were dispatched. The customer service team were helpful and responsive, but it was extremely disappointing that the mistake happened in the first place, and disappointing that it took a whole week to send out a replacement pack of screws.

Recieved goods we opted for the item to be assembled which it was . There was a wrong component delivered . The assembler ordered another component . This was delivered I assembled myself but the component does not fit . I then took some photos and sent to the installation team . So far there has been no reply or even an acknowledgement that they have received the mail.

While the service of RTG was polite, the delivery was farcical - no warning; attempted on the wrong day and then the next day before 7am; rearranged for the following Monday but it didn?t turn up; rearranged for weds morning and it finally turned up around 3.30pm. At my request RTG refunded the delivery charge but this didn?t really compensate for having to arrange for people to wait in on 3 different days.

I ordered the bed especially for my sons 6th birthday. I sent an email asking if we could ensure delivery by the date of his birthday which was 2 weeks later. In fact the bed didnt come for a further 2 weeks + after his birthday. There was no communication re this delay and my son was left disappointed.

We ordered the bed with a 5-15working day delivery time, however, we had to wait four weeks as delivery company has a 28day delivery guarantee and not a 15 day one a room to grow advertises.

Thank you for your feedback. It is great to hear that your boys love their new bed and we apologise that you feel that this service was not extended to our manufacturer's delivery team. We are reliant upon Stompa's delivery team and we can only estimate delivery time scales so we will pass on your comments to Stompa. Thank you.

It seemed to take a while from placing the order to someone getting in contact to confirm delivery. Also I was told delivery in my area was just 1 day a week and they couldn't tell me any more than a couple of days in advance when this would be so I could not plan a day off work to take delivery. The approach was rather inflexible and not at all helpful AND they charged for the privilege!

We are sorry that you were frustrated with the delivery service, but as we discussed, we do rely upon Julian Bowen's delivery team to give notice and book in delivery directly with our customer's. We have passed on your comments to the manufacturer.

Delivery should have been 3-5 working days. Currently on day 10 and after chasing a couple of times i am promised delivery on day 11. I understand there can be delays in delivery, but communication is the key. And a pre-emptive call to manage my expectations would have been better. I don't think i would use room to grow again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear that are having issues with your Stompa UNO S 3AD Midsleeper with pull out desk, multi cube and chest. We can see that this was ordered from us July of last year and you paid for Home assembly which means you have a 5 year warranty. We can look into rectifying these issues for you if you would like to email in to our support team at support@roomtogrow.co.uk with some photos of the damage and we will take this up with Stompa for you. Delivery was damaged en route to us. Arrangements for replacements was excellent but original courier messed up on delivery twice before eventually delivering.

Generally happy with our purchase but very disappointed in the delivery service. Constantly had to contact RTG for an update as none was given and no tracking data provided. On the day of the delivery we were assured by the delivery company that they would deliver to the first floor but when an Eastern European delivery driver turned up with little English - he refused to take our bed upstairs and simply rushed off. To make matters worse there were boot marks all over the boxes and then unsurprisingly one of our items was damaged. To get that part delivered took weeks with all the back and forth emails / telephone calls. Overall a disappointing experience with the delivery which badly lets RTG down. However their response always seems to be "we apologies" and someone else is to blame. Would recommend the product but not the delivery service. Sorry won't be using again.

Our website clearly states delivery to a ground floor room of choice - the third party delivery company are not insured to take the furniture to the first floor level.  If you were misled then we are sorry for this. It is unfortunate to hear about the condition of your boxes and once the furniture leaves our warehouse then we do expect better care to be taken. As soon as we were alerted we did arrange for a replacement part to be despatched. The bed was not delivered as expected within the 5 - 7 days estimated time frame. When queried our address had beed taken incorrectly, and delivery was arranged for the following day. That attempt failed (due apparently to the van being stolen), and another delivery was arranged, but still went to the incorrect address. We finally received the bed, though not in the finish we had wanted, because again the details were taken down incorrectly when the order was placed over the phone. Overall the customer service we received was helpful but ineffective. The product is good, but I couldn't recommend the company.

This should eliminate any issues with contact/delivery details and ensure that the correct goods are ordered. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with your new Solitaire White Midsleeper.

The service was excellent until the point of delivery. Delivery date was arranged, however the driver did not turn up with the bed and mattress and did not inform anyone he would not be delivering on the agreed date. the driver when he did deliver was alone, the bed was so heavy he was not able to lift alone, luckily there was a man available to help unload. however this was not expected to be the case, so not sure how the bed would have been delivered if this had not been the case.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. To enable us to despatch our products on an express delivery within 2-3 days we use the services of a third party doorstep carrier company. We are very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with the delivery of your bed and will pass on your feedback to the carrier company involved. We are currently investigating additional delivery options including a 2 man room of choice service which we hope to add to our delivery options in the near future.

Unhappy at being charged £35 delivery on a £400 order plus £50 to return an item I ordered by mistake. It's made the lovely low bed for my toddler an expensive mistake.

Thank you for your comments. To keep our prices competitive we do have to charge delivery separate on orders under £500 and we are transparent about this on our website. As we use a third party delivery company we are charged for collections as detailed in our T&Cs. We are delighted to hear that you love your new Kurt Single Bed. Best Wishes, RTG.

No idea if the wardrobe is nice as I?ve still not got it. The delivery service is terrible. They didn?t call me, went to the wrong house and then sent me an email saying I had given them the wrong address and phone number. Which I hadnt. Now rearranged for a week later at a time that isn?t particularly convenient.

It took 3 deliveries for my son's bedroom suite consisting of stompa cabin bed, mattress, chest of drawers & cube. 1st time they only got the bed and mattress. The installation people were uncertain of whether they even had the mattress with them. Second delivery had the wrong top drawer for the chest. Finally they brought the drawer and a week later they attempted to deliver another one! My request for some short of apology in the form of compensation fell into deaf ears! Very disappointing service especially for an order of that price!

Most excellent sales team and lovely web site. I still have not received all of my order though and some of it arrived damaged (only slightly and I will not bother return it)
