“Absoloutely worse place on the world for delivery’s. Waited two days for a bike to turn up which I kept getting told every hour was on route.. 2 days later it turned up. Then waiting for another 2 children’s bikes which again I’ve been told are out for delivery and haven’t turned up yet again on the day I was told. Absolute joke”

Hi Adam, I completely understand the frustration here and this clearly wasn’t the level of service expected. In this case, the bikes were being delivered fully built, which meant they had to go via a specialist courier rather than a standard parcel network. Unfortunately, despite the courier repeatedly advising us of delivery slots and schedules, they failed to follow through on those commitments. We then passed those updates on in good faith, only to be let down ourselves when the deliveries did not happen as promised. That said, the order was still placed with us, so we are not trying to avoid responsibility for the overall experience. We appreciate how frustrating it is to wait in for deliveries across multiple days with constantly changing ETAs and updates that ultimately were not met. We are already raising this directly with the courier involved as the communication and service provided was not acceptable. Thanks Ride + Glide

“I was recommended Ride + Glide by a good friend, so I felt I was in fairly safe hands anyway, but I will say the whole experience was an absolute pleasure. I was greeted on entry, my query heard and passed to the appropriate member of staff within about 10 seconds, which was superb. The shop itself is very much as you would expect, small, but amply stocked with bikes and rideables as far as the eye can see. There is clear evidence that it is busy at times, but there was a good amount of space to move around and discuss my needs, while assessing the bikes on offer. Sound advice noted, I was able to choose a bike based on my specific needs, and I was out the door aagain, with help loading the car, within about 10 - 15 minutes. The product is superb, the service was superb, Pascal and Pierre were lovely (I didn't get the name of the lady who greeted me initially, sorry), so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ride + Glide. It's quite a unique shop, so you may find yourself travelling a bit to get there - just know that the carpark was quite full when I arrived, so I had to wait for a space, but that's the only negative thing I could possibly say.”

“I ordered some parts through Ride and Glide⁠, which were sourced from SUPER Europe⁠. I feel that Ride and Glide could improve their communication. Once I had made payment, I felt forgotten and had to chase updates on my order myself. I also had to follow up for the invoice, as I was told the accounts team would deal with it once they returned to work. Eventually, I received the part and it works as expected. However, the part did not appear to be brand new, as there were visible knocks and signs of wear. When I raised this concern, I was assured that the part was new despite its appearance. Thank you.”
