“Kevin & Mike came to treat the loft yesterday and worked very well. They also left everything very clean and tidy. This was also carried out very quickly as the initial inspection was less than a week ago. All very professional. Thanks very much”

“Great service from the Edinburgh team. Richard & Kevin treated a dry rot and wet rot problem in our bathroom, surveyed by Malcolm. The entire team was courteous, professional, on time and very helpful in answering my questions and suggestions on how to prevent future problems! They took care to establish site safety and protect the floors and were very professional. Highly recommend Richardson and Starling for problems with property! Thank you for an excellent service.”

“I am grateful to Richardson & Starling for conducting woodworm treatment at the price quoted well over a year ago despite my long delay in commissioning the work. Kevin and Mike arrived on time and were quick to establish site safety standards and took care to protect my carpets. they were both friendly and personable and answered my questions in clear terms.”

“Our initial contact was with Lisa in Inverness who was just wonderful to deal with and kept us informed about the process.With the current situation and centralisation of the business to Aberdeen we then dealt with Jackie who guided us thorough the whole process to completion.Neil Ferris who did the work was outstanding.Professional,a very tidy worker and very considerate. Would highly recommend Richard and Starling for any work required.”

“Malcolm (surveyor) was immensely knowledgeable, immediately investigating and grasping the nature and limited extent of the problem - his quotation being precise to what was needed - and he emailed me answers to all my queries. John (contract supervisor) was very helpful and reassuring as well as tackling an unforeseen plumbing challenge with the skill of much experience. Robin (joiner) did a neat job and left left everything very tidy.”

“Clarke, from the Edinburgh branch, arrived to carry out the initial survey and was very prompt, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Malcolm then carried out the work - he always turned up on time with a smile on his face, worked hard, always tidied up after himself and overall I was very impressed with the standard of the work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarke and Malcolm.”

“Surveyor came out recently Mr Martin Tucker years to check work they had done previously my house after more than 30years.Full credit to the company all the work was found to be perfectly sound.Mr Martin showed his years of previous experience having previously worked on the tools with the company before doing the surveying.He had a polite friendly ,proffessional and approachable manner .The company have been around for many years and have used their services in other properties previously. They give in depth detailed reports with reasonable costs for each service in clear language with solutions for problems.I have found them to decent ,hardworking trustworthy company who have proved the test of time, thats why I have always used them and never had any hesitation recommending them to others.”

“Whilst we are not yet in a position to establish the effectiveness of the treatment, we were very impressed with the Edinburgh branch in carrying out the work. On time, worked hard, kept things as tidy and protected as was possible and carried out the work in a safe way using a separate entrance at all times to save having to walk through the house. Malcolm McCormick did a particularly good job.”

“We dealt with R&S Edinburgh branch. R&S came into our building to do some work & then more issues unravelled from this- they were open & honest with us from start & explained everything in detail to us. They were very accommodating in fact the job turned out to take much longer than they originally thought. All the guys were professional and would explain things to me if I asked them anything. Clarke Elsby & John Falconer had great communication with us , we were never left wondering about anything. The workers would turn up on time and leave the place as tidy as they could. Would highly recommend R&S to anyone.”

“Our surveyor was was very knowledgeable about our damp problem and was able to carefully explain its cause and the best solution. He took the time to explain things fully and followed up by emailing some relevant literature. Fortunately, it was not as bad as we had anticipated. His expertise put our minds at ease and armed with his recommendations we are already tackling the problem ourselves. We very much appreciated his professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend Richardson and Starling to friends and family.”

“We were very impressed with the service provided by the Aberdeen branch. From the initial survey carried out by Scott who obviously had a lot of experience. Jackie with clear communication and organising the work. To the workmen Dave & Costa. Friendly, informative and left the place how it was when they arrived. For a 30 year gaurentee woodworm treatment and removal and disposal of old insulation and replacement of new, in current regulation thickness insulation the price was very competitive. Would definitely use Richardson and Starling again and will recommend to others.”
