“I recently used this company for a damp survey and the associated remedial work and I'm very happy with the service provided. From the outset, the team at the Aberdeen branch were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. In particular, the surveyor and office staff were excellent to deal with throughout the process. The issues identified during the survey were explained very clearly, with detailed paperwork and a comprehensive quotation provided. The pricing was also very reasonable and in line with what I expected for the scope of the work. I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate my arrangements. I was managing the project from a considerable distance away, and the team made the logistics as straightforward and stress-free as possible, keeping me informed at every stage. The remedial work itself was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption. The team worked quickly while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, and they kept to the agreed schedule throughout. Regular updates were provided, and the project was completed on time as promised. Overall, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone requiring damp surveys or property restoration work. Their professionalism, communication, efficiency and customer service were excellent from start to finish.”

“The Aberdeen team at Richardson and Starling were excellent in helping me sort some wet rot issues. They were extremely professional - from the initial surveyor Mark Kerr, to the reception Caitlyn(?), the administration team Rachael and the techicians David Anderson and Callum. Caitlyn and Mark were particularly helpful in sorting out a few queries that I had about the work, with Caitlyn going above and beyond the call of duty to get answers to my questions and to accomodate a difficult timescale. I did not meet the techicians personally but they seem to have done a lovely, neat job and they left the property tidy. The work was done promptly, cleanly and as per their quotation. Lovely to work with a firm that has such good communication and is so friendly and straightforward. I would definitely use them again”

“I've been dealing with R&S on a number of issues over a period of around 6 months and have always been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and standard of care when dealing with customers either on phone or on email. Rachael in the office and the rest of the admin team are always responsive, helpful and diligent in dealing with enquiries even when changes are needed and Steven has been nothing short of exceptional in his expertise and explaining the circumstances of the damp and leak issues that have arisen and options of having them resolved. Thank you and should I need further services I know you're only a call away.”

“Callum and David Anderson from the Aberdeen branch were here for several days, dealing with damp in the chimney wall and woodworm in the loft space. They were excellent and tidied up each time they left the property. Must include Rachael from Admin in the Aberdeen office, too. Really helpful. Thanks to all for a first class job”

“Neil, Danny and Lucas worked very hard for 2 1/2 days to repair some rotting woodwork around our windows, despite having to start out at an unearthly time in the morning to reach us. They were very prompt each day and cannot be faulted for their consideration and courtesy throughout the job. Our first experience of R&S at the "coal face" but wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to one and all on the basis of our experience this week. Top marks, guys!”

“I had Neil & Lucas from the Aberdeen branch out to tackle a bit of woodworm in the loft. Arrived at 8am like I was told if not a wee bit early. Nice and pleasant to chat with before the job and done a bit quicker than they had thought. Also gave some advice on my insulation so that I can get the house ready for the colder nights. Thanks”

“Had quite a large bit of work done to sort out damp in the home. Multiple rooms vacated, walls ripped out etc. Whilst it was a lot of upheaval - cannot fault the work of the Aberdeen branch. Office staff were responsive and helpful + Neil and Lucas were lovely and hard working throughout. Also - good job done on all three of her big walls. Tidied and finished well + done on schedule. Excellent work.”
