I had a damp problem under the floor and arranged for a couple of companies to do a survey and advise me on what to do. The first company said I needed to have a chemical dpc injected into the walls and sent me a quote which only included one of the problem walls. Then Steven from Richardson and Starling came out and did a survey and let me know that the problem was not the damp proof course but was caused by condensation and could be alleviated by better ventilation and a membrane laid over the ground beneath. I have had the work done and all is dry and airy! I would definitely recommend Richardson and Starling as a company who you can rely on for an accurate survey and good advice.
